It all went excellently! recording a few songs is not your usual event/request, and Joe not only sung very well but was really helpful through the whole process. He really wanted to make sure that we got what we wanted from the session, friendly and professional.

In breach of use of personal information. I asked to be unsubscribed very quickly after signing up and realising the service was not for me. Despite asking to be unsubscribed at least 4 times they continued to bombard me. Highly unprofessional.

So... in celebration of my wife's (Fiona) and her friend and our neighbour's ( Michelle) 50th birthday, we respected our Scottish roots and booked the Cumberland Ceilidh Band for our street party. The assembled throng - 3 Scots, 1 Zambian, 1 Swede, 1 American , 1 Hungarian and 54 English - could not claim much prior experience in Scottish Country Dancing. From Joanna's ( the band's brilliant caller ) first request to "Take your partner to the driveway, not dancefloor" this was never going to be a conventional evening. The band themselves were superb - fantastic musicians whose playing ability deserved better than the carnage taking place before them. Their set was skillfully tailored to the novice dancers they were overseeing. Always patient, always understanding and always encouraging, audience participation swelled from a few nervous die-hards to near 100% participation in a final Orcadian Strip the Willow for the ages. The band were even kind enough to throw in an encore responding to the shouts of "more" from their grateful audience. The Cumberland Ceilidh Band made a good night truly great. If you are after a Ceilidh Band in and around London, you must consider calling these guys - they were fantastic! Without reservation, I would heartily recommend them for your own celebration.

Looking forward to our event on 28th August - I am sure the live music will be the icing on the birthday celebration cake

An excellent service- the phone call from your team really helped pinpoint exactly what we needed for our wedding- following all the responses we were able to pick the perfect musicians for the job! We got lucky!

Rich played the pipes for guests arriving at my daughter's wedding on 30th June. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed his playing and it set the scene for a great day. He was punctual and friendly and numerous photos were take of him with the guests.

Very easy process - reviewed the available talent and placed a deposit - a couple of messages later and we are good to go.

We booked Tim Southern for my Daughter’s hen weekend. He touched base with me right from the start, and I was able to give a background to our festival themed event, and Tim was also happy to learn my daughter’s favourite song.
Tim is a great singer and guitarist, playing a fabulous range of songs, suitable for the wide range of ages in our group from 23 to my 83 yr old mother!! He was very warm friendly, and interactive. He had us all singing and dancing. We had an amazing time, and he definitely made the weekend for us. He did the most fantastic job of learning the requested song, and my daughter was blown away by it. I would love to have an opportunity to have him play for us again in the future. Thanks again to Encore and Tim. If anyone gets the opportunity- BOOK HIM!!

Booking was really straight forward from start to finish and band prices were really good compared to other sites.

I’m a listed musician via Encore running a series of lineups and have been for a few years now. I have to say the system they have developed is now really very good and user friendly. Not only that, I’ve had around 36 very nice, hassle free bookings via them to date. Very friendly and helpful if I ever need to contact them for anything or on the odd occasion I’ve had to cancel. They’re going from strength to strength as an agent and as a professional musician I would recommend them to both other musicians and clients alike.
