AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I am reviewing Enerj Wi-Fi Touch Switch 2 Gang (model ets312W) - black. I purchased a few units for different rooms.

Firstly the product. Initially I thought it was great, stylish, worked with an app etc.. Then using in real life a completely different story.

1. When your internet router goes off or you have any internet/Wi-Fi issues all the lights running off the switches just flash constantly until a Wi-Fi connection is restored again. So annoying..
2. Randomly the lights just come on, sometimes for a few seconds and then other times a lot longer. I came home from work this week and all the lights were on in my house!
3. Even when you fit the supplied capacitor in the circuit as instructed, LED lights still randomly flicker.
4.The switch does not work with all lights, purchased a BDA1336 LED wall light. Does not power it, works with other switches and direct power.

Now customer service. A complete joke of a company, do not buy anything from them. Used email and telephone number on website. I've sent 4 emails and not one response. I called and talked to a lady, she took all my details and said someone from the Technical department would ring me back. Laughable - these units are imported from China and Enerj are just middle men with no resource in this country. Otherwise they would of responded, unless they have so many issue they have just put their head in the sand and ignoring everything.
I am sure there will be some form of excuse as a response to my review.
ENERJ this is what I am doing next, £35 to take you to small claims court, just out of principle for ignoring my emails and calls. Companies like you should not get away with how you do business.

Avoid this company.
Purchased 2 x indoor cameras.One is defective, customer service is non existent. The products are poor quality although branded ener-j I have my doubts. They require a separate appfro. Ener-j's
Be warned there is no customer support for the defective products they sell as per numerous other reviews !.

very poor customer support.

very poor customer support.
I followed instructions on a 3 gang switch,
I recorded the process for Ener J to witness and see the process.
Ener J told me any poor review is only to do with firewalls and wi-fi.
this is simply not true. I have complained several times and spoke to the Sales Director.
This is a good product but there are some teething issues. I have fitted many separate locations all worked well. but the the 1 time I have had a problem EnerJ are not interested in supporting. I am familiar with installing this product but it takes too long to get through to them on the phone,
they do not respond to emails promptly.
and just make excuses.
a good product released too soon to avoid needless recalls. Back to Wise Products for my business.

I contacted your customer support so many times and Ener j failed to return calls or accept the product was actually faulty.
I replaced the entire system for my Customer with an alternative product from a different manufacturer.
I no longer use either Ener J products or Kew Electrical Distributors Basingstoke who jointly failed both my business and my Customer.
it has taken 5 months for Ener j to respond.
tells you all you need to know.
poor customer service/unreliable product.

Faulty goods, poor customer service!

I bought 3 smart LED filament bulbs in late March at £20 each, a high price for alight bulb. On installation they worked well and I thought them to be worth the high price until one of them just stopped working, it is a dead light bulb! Customer support is non-existent. I spoke to Raj on 10th June and followed that up with an email but got no response. Another phone conversation followed by email on June 19th got no further action and today, July 1st, I can't even get a reply on their phone line. Avoid this company.
Update: after two more phone calls and a considerable delay I did eventually receive the replacement bulb and it has worked perfectly since.

Non existent Customer Services

Have not supplied a return address, have called twice and send two emails to their ‘customer help’ and have received no reply. I would avoid at all cost as if you have a problem you will struggle to get a respond from their non existent customer services.

Very poor service

Product received was faulty. Really poor support. Have given up and asked for refund. No refund received so have to get credit card company involved.

A great Product that really works

I thought I would try the Wireless Kinetic Doorbell as an alternative to the usual extension bells. I have tried many over the years, but most have been useless, as you can only hear them in the room where the receiver is.
Impressed with the Ener-j bell, it's loud enough to hear throughout most downstairs rooms. I was so impressed that I ordered one for my mother-in-law as well.

Can’t really recommend Ener-J smart

Can’t really recommend Ener-J smart. We have had smart switches installed in our home and one by one they have all gone faulty (after around 2years) we have had everything from random lights switching on in the middle of the night to lights flashing on and off and light switches not working at all. The only way we can stop it is to either disconnect from the Wi-Fi or swap back to a normal switch. Not great really. Considering what we have spent on them in the past.
Just got a reply 12 months later after the original post well I am afraid I’ve changed them all back to normal switches and thrown those ‘Not so Smart’ switches out in the bin.

bidet/toilet problems and lack of effective support.

We bought one of their bidet/toilets. It has never worked properly with the remote having to be pressed many, many (>40) times to activate a function. The repeated complaints resulted in new remotes being sent out. However, both failed to pair with the bidet unit and despite videoing the process for them, we are no further forward. Avoid!

they sell your data to spam your mail box

I bought a smart switch. Whenever I have to provide an email address to companies I usually provide an email address in the format "company name @ myDomain.com" after registering with Ener-J I started receiving a lot of spam which I can't unsubscribe to. I contacted them to complain, but they decided to ignore and pretend they don't understand what I'm talking about.
Also the smart switch doesn't work very well and takes at least 5 - 10 seconds to respond which makes the switch completely useless. Currently it also not able to register it through the app any more.

AVOID - ITEMS SENT WITH FAULTY AND NO PROPER REPLACEMENT

I ordered three switchers and all of them came with the faulty. Contacted the seller ENER-J for replacement and first replacement failed - all three switchers with the faulty. Second replacement - only one switcher was fine - rest faulty again. Third replacement - all with the faulty again. And now they avoiding me, do not want to refund or even send again replacement. They sent the video of how warehouse checking it and they are not even checking the area there the faulty is.

Avoid this comapny-faulty goods

I recently purchased 2 x CCTv wifi camera's from Ener-j, however the units did not work.
Technical assisstance was of a limited nature and did not resolve the problem.
As the fault could not be resolved I asked for a refund-but guess what no refund and no further communication.

Best avoid Ener-J
