A gent called Shaun helped us get set up with all our home and exterior cameras. Have full access from my mobile whilst I’m busy working away which is handy when I’m not home to keep an eye. Really thankful for the informative and transparent service.

I did have a slight technical issue where I had miss clicked something on the app. Shaun helped me get all sorted remotely fast and efficiently. Thanks again!

Bought an outdoor WiFi dome camera. It's especially difficult to set up but got there in the end. When you playback the footage, you can only view at 1x speed which makes it ridiculously hard to review any footage. Also you can't save a local mp4 video file for transfer across devices, the footage can only be viewed through a device with an app linked! Absolutely useless CCTV system... Would avoid at all costs and buy a proper camera from a better company l.

If there was an option for less than one star, I would have selected that. The most dishonest trader I have ever purchased from. False reassurances constantly. After delivering the incorrect item, as well as items arriving in damaged packaging. No attempt at all at resolving this issue. Instead ignoring my messages to try and resolve this. I personally would pay a few quid extra and at least have my consumer rights.

Installed smart dimmer switches throughout my house 12no. after 2 years a couple of them started giving trouble. They would constantly dim up and down. After contacting Enerj a rep did call and give me two replacements for 3 faulty ones at that time. Within following year all switches are giving trouble and despite contacting rep I am getting no correspondence and having to replace all switches with a good quality bland

Got a video doorbell with my insurance
Setting up is crap. Have tried numerous set up attempts, reset my router. Going in the bin

Had suite of Ener-j products, changed broadband providers and they guided me through the new setup, from splitting router to have a 2.4 and 5 GHz network, to resetting and connecting devices to new 2.4ghz network.

Got the LED Bluetooth mirror which is outstanding to look at, lighting and demister work perfectly and Bluetooth speaker is an amazing addition I never knew I needed.
Customer support was excellent which was required as our installer threw away the instructions.

Picture quality is good when it eventually connects. Person at the door has been and gone by the time you get to answer it. Absolutely useless product and it's going in the bin.

Product not fit for purpose. Range is poor.

Got free with home insurance. Thought it would be a good idea as housebound mum could talk to whoever was at the door. However, you need to have the app open to get video calling. If you're out and need to see who is at the door, by the time it's connected wirelessly, the person at the door has gone. Also very good at picking up the sun going in behind a cloud, not so much good at capturing a big lorry knocking down a wall over the road. No video capture.

I bought a Ener-J "remote control" security light, I bought the product through Wayfair. The instructions for installing the controller clearly state that it can be connected to Wi-Fi, it can not. I wanted to be able to switch the light on or off by using the App on my phone, however the product is useless without kinetic switches, you don't get told that either when you buy the product.
I contacted Customer service but the response was that this device can not be connected to Wi-Fi, I had to spend an extra £32 to get the switches, total swindle.

Have a indoor camera for home office hard to connect never stays online ( not my internet as every other piece of tech is fine) not a great experience hopefully it's just mine and everyone else is positive

usless piece of gear going to the electrical recycling centre

Instructions for the camera are in tiny print and poorly written.
It is not clear which camera in the app is mine.
The camera will not recognise the capitcha generated by the app.
I cant even be bothered to send it back - it's off to the recycling bin with it and I'll avoid anything from this lot in future.

Raj helped me with a return recently, and was very helpful, thankyou Raj for all your help, he is a credit to Ener-j, a great company, I would 100% recommend to all.

I work as freelance Tech callout for my local town. i spend alto of time helping set up systems for the elderly and /or vunrable people.
Iv had to set up Ener-j products a few times and im not impressed:

The instructions will send you to a old app to run there devices, this is wrong , they have a new 3rd party app that runs their stuff.

there call centre will regularly hang up on you/ send you to a different extension whilst on hold

when i asked how to pair the motion sensor and door magnet with the new app i was asked for my email so they could send me a youtube clip. . i asked spercificly that my email not be used for marketing purposes, the person on the phone agreed , and now im being spammed with some very dodgy spam adverts for free devices ( my details have obviously passed on to a 3rd party)

All there devices arnt even that nice iv had mcdonalds toys made from more substantial plastic

overall this strikes me a company that made a product and now is doing its best to let go of the responsibility of supporting it.
everything seems to of been done to the minimum required standards and/or passed on to the lowest bidder to deal with.
