I used EP Tax to assist me with a capital gains issue, from start to finish the staff were very knowledgeable and my issue was resolved quickly and professionally. Will use again in the future.

I cannot recommend EP Tax enough! Amy went above and beyond to assist me and very promptly! Replying to any questions I had and take all stress away I had from the dreaded tax!

Before today, I have always highly recommended EP Tax!!!

But, a slight disagreement this past week, over a conversation from a year ago, and our payroll services have been terminated with immediate effect. With a final invoice being sent WITHIN 10 minutes of the email advising of immediate termination.
Having spoken to other organisations, I've been told it's not typical to give zero notice.
I'd strongly suggest that any business checks termination clauses carefully - even when it's a personal connection or recommendation.

In hindsight - I WISH we had discussed this clause and this complaint openly.

There are a number of other things I wish we could go back to change however, they have happened now.

Both sides have made assumptions and just goes to show we should have had a proper conversation a lot earlier!

Also, goes to show that you can ask HMRC for information and not get the same guidance twice... which hasn't helped this whole situation!

Unfortunately, a number of things happened and having been only on payroll, it appears that put us at a disadvantage. As it looks to be, that there are processes in place, to crosscheck etc, for people using this service WITH accountancy services, ensuring no discrepancies...

I've fed back directly what I feel went wrong, which has been taken under advisement.

As a result of these unfortunate set of circumstances, it's highlighted to both parties that there is some feedback to be learned from. Which is why I've adjusted my review because, before all this happened and conversations were had, I'd recommended.

I'm not sure how I presently feel about recommending... but I hope over time bridges can be re-mended.

Because the zero notice clause is still in use - I've decided not to change the "review Star" decision at this time.

I hope this is a 1 time issue 🙂
