Avoid this company or lose 1000 Euro!

1000 euro Deposit with-held since 2nd March and no complaint about vehicle (I showed evidence of a perfectly returned car) - it's now second half of April. Company keep claiming payment will happen 'next week' and nothing returned. They have ignored deadlines and now disappeared from all communication.

Contact your bank immediately and report fraud if this happens to you. I now have to travel to Antalya to file a court claim and discuss with police. Also report the fraud to your car rental search engine, all other search engines, Antalya airport authorities, local Antalya authorities. Contact me at was101 Hotmail then com for group action

This company will try to blame damage on you if you have no photos to prove them wrong! Even if they sign the car is fine and you have evidence, they will promise to return the money and then disappear!

Prepare for a long court case to get your deposit back if you make the mistake and hire from them, and make sure you claim all your travel, case management and distress costs - this can be tens of thousands of euro in compensation.

When I arrived at Antalya Airport and followed the instructions provided to collect the car from **Eren Rent A Car Antalya**, the stated meeting point did not exist. I then had to attempt to contact the company through various channels, only to be told that someone would call me and collect me from somewhere within the airport area.

When I was eventually collected, I was taken to the rental office, which was located in a secluded and unprofessional area. The main issue arose when I insisted on leaving a £500 deposit to avoid purchasing additional insurance. I attempted to use three different credit cards, all of which were supposedly “declined.” At the time, I did not realise this may have been a deceptive tactic. I was informed that my cards were not working, despite the fact that I regularly rent vehicles worldwide without any issues.

At approximately 1:00am, in an unfamiliar and isolated location, I was told that if I still wanted to collect the car, I would need to purchase additional insurance for around €180, payable only by debit card. The alternative was to forfeit the money I had already prepaid for the hire and arrange my own transport out of the area. Under these circumstances, I felt I had no reasonable choice but to pay.

After paying for this “insurance,” which I was told would remove any excess liability, I was then asked to pay a further €500 deposit for another unspecified requirement—again, only via debit card.

Additionally, I had booked and paid for an automatic vehicle. However, upon arrival, I was informed that if I wanted an automatic car, I would need to pay even more for additional insurance, which I declined.

Following this experience, I contacted my banks and was informed that none of my credit cards had been declined or even processed. This strongly suggests that the claims made by the company were false. At the time, I was unable to verify this due to the late hour and the circumstances.

I also became aware that other travellers have experienced similar issues with this company. During my visit, I was moved into a separate room while another British customer was being served and was told that my cards were the problem, whereas the other customer had no issues. I later discovered that this individual had experienced the same situation. It appears we were deliberately separated to prevent comparison of our experiences.

Overall, this experience was extremely concerning and misleading. It is very disappointing that companies operating in this manner are allowed to continue trading.

I'd suggest staying away from Eren

I'd suggest staying away from Eren Rent a Car - Kayseri Airport (and potentially their other branches). We had a hard time getting our deposit money back. All Eren's official channels would communicate with us and we had to initiat a charback from our bank and threthen with further actions for something to happen. More below.

The rental in general was fine. They don't have a counter at the airport and no one will be waiting for you, but that can be expected for the price. The driver came quickly after calling, but wouldn't leave his car to come find you, so it took us about 15 minutes and asking strangers if they were from Eren before we found him. The car was ready, but strangely, no one checked the car for issues or gave you any pre-filled papers. They also lied about how much petrol was in the car, but we always take photos and videos. They also didn't check the car on return, so we just had to hope that everything was ok and they won't try to claim anything later (again, we took videos to have proof that the car was ok).

The worst was that they didn't just block the deposit of 55,000 TRY (about 1100 Euros), but they fully took it out of our card. This wasn't the first time for us, but it's always suspicious. After returning the car, I contacted their customer service and was told that the deposit would be returned after 21 days. However, this hasn't happened, so we started contacting them and asking about it. The longest response we received was "I'll check." After a week of asking, they stopped responding altogether. Both Eren's email and WhatsApp would be silent and wouldn't help. Eventually, we had to contact our bank and initiated charcheback. We were later able to get in contact with an accountant from the Kayeseri branch using their number on one of the contracts we kept. After threatening that we will report this to the authorities and showing the bank's dispute request, the deposit was finally returtned to our account.

Please, please stay away from this company.
I wouldn’t wish the experience we had on anyone.

From the moment we landed, things felt wrong. Their “airport office” doesn’t exist — instead, you’re told to call a Turkish number and wait to be picked up by a stranger who drives you to a remote location. I genuinely felt unsafe, especially with my five‑year‑old with us. No family should start their holiday feeling like that.

Once we arrived, the pressure began. They pushed aggressively for extra insurance we didn’t need. When we refused, my perfectly working credit card suddenly “stopped working.” I’ve used this card all over the world — even in places with far less reliable systems — and never had a single issue. We ended up paying for an additional driver just to use a different card. We were stuck there for over two exhausting hours with a tired child, and they didn’t care at all.

It didn’t stop there.
The car wasn’t ready.
The car seat we paid for was the wrong size.
The fuel tank was practically empty.
Everything felt sloppy, careless, and stressful.

But the worst part — the part that still makes my stomach turn — is the deposit.
We returned the car on time, in perfect condition. The staff member promised the refund would arrive in 10 days. Ten days passed. Nothing. Then suddenly it was 21 days. Then 28. Every time we asked, the story changed. Their final excuse? “The bank told us to leave them alone.” It felt like a slap in the face.

It’s clear they have no intention of giving the deposit back. No honesty, no professionalism, no respect for customers. Just empty promises and endless excuses.

I can’t say a single positive thing about this company.
Please don’t put your family through what we went through. Avoid them completely.

Super slechte bedrijf Nóóit een auto huren

Super slechte bedrijf! Auto stonk. Er was in gerookt. Daar dik discussie over gehad met die jongens daar. Omdat hun ook roken, rokende hun dat niet.
Ten 2de ik heb mijn borg van 1100euro nog steeds niet terug gekregen we zijn nu 36 dagen verder na dat ik de auto heb ingeleverd.

15 yıldır TÃŒrkiyede , Amerikada,Avrupada,Asya da araç kiralıyorum ama bu kadar berbat bir karsılama , teslim servisi vede bu kadar carpık dökÃŒk araç görmedim ..otomatik orta segment bir arac kiraladım ( toyota corolla yada benzeri) ancak antalya havalimanında, 1 saat bekledikden sonra buluşma noktasına teşrif ettiler , ama eren rent a car aracılığı ile başka bir şirketin elemanı karşıladı..Teslim masasında toyota yok otomatik klio vereceğiz dedi..ol defim ama aracın carpılmadık , sökÃŒlmedik hiç bir yeri kalmsmıstı..arka far lamba kapağıı bile yoktu..arac 225.000 km de olsa gerek.kac model olduguna bile bakmadım. koltukşar kirli delik deşik..hangi bitinin foto ve videosunu cekeceksinki ..elimizde baska arac yok dediler ve otomatik arac yerine kısmen daha az hasarlı manuel bir ticari arac verdiler ( ford turneo) arac sıfır depo ilk benzinliğe varmadan 100 m önce benzin bitti aracı boşa alarak benzinciye ulastım..Aracın lastiği bile hava kacırıyor 4 gum boyınca hergÃŒn hava bastım..sanırım aracın rotları gitmiş sola dönÌşlerde takır tukur neredeyse teker fırlayacak.Aracı birgÃŒn önce teslim ettim..atac alındığı hibi teslim alındı ibaresini yazın diyorum yazmak istemiyorlar..imza yeterli..zaten bir eksik olsa imza atmayız diyor..inanılmaz ukala tipler..5 gÃŒn liralamıstım 4.gÃŒnde teslim ettim.. Rented a car in Kayseri (Turkey)

I rented a car in Kayseri (Turkey) and the customer service was extremely bad. They charged me as deposit for the car 1100€ to be refunded after 28 days from the day the car was returned. After that period, I spent two weeks of my time going after them, while they ghosted me, no answering calls, emails or whatsapps. Only when I reported to my bank the situation and they took over, I could get my money back. That is not serius whatsoever, so I hardly not recommend them.

As a Turkish citizen i have never seen anything like this company they are thieves, they keep the deposit and ask for cancellation money on top they don't have any cars available and they are not apart of the airport they will not come to pick you up EREN RENT A CAR IS A SCAM. Bu kadar kotu bi firma olamaz, rent a problem not a rent a car.

Şimdiye kadar karşılaştığım en kötÃŒ firmalardan biri. Depozitomu hâlâ iade etmediler. Aracı 14 gÃŒnlÌğÌne kiraladım ancak araç kontrol edilmeden teslim edildiği ve lastikler, akÃŒ, far dÌğmeleri gibi temel konularda ciddi sorunlar olduğu için aracı ertesi gÃŒn iade etmek zorunda kaldım.

Araçlar eski ve bakımsız, teslim öncesi hiçbir denetim yapılmıyor. Firma çalışanları son derece profesyonellikten uzak ve araç kiralama konusunda yeterli eğitime sahip değiller. Hatta arızalı bir lambayı benim değiştirmem söylendi. Konuşma tarzları tehditkâr ve rahatsız ediciydi.

Kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum. TÃŒrkiye’nin hiçbir yerinde bu denetimsiz ve gÃŒven vermeyen araç kiralama firmasını kullanmayın, daha gÃŒvenilir alternatifler tercih edin.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They still have not returned my deposit. I rented a car for 14 days but was forced to return it the very next day because the vehicle had clearly not been checked and had multiple issues, including problems with the tyres, battery, headlight controls, and other basic functions.

The cars are old and poorly maintained, and vehicles are handed over without proper inspection. The staff are unprofessional and clearly lack proper training in car rental services. I was even told to fix a faulty light myself. Their communication was intimidating and inappropriate.

I do not recommend this company at all. Avoid this unregulated car rental company anywhere in Turkey and use more reputable alternatives instead.

Die Buchung ÃŒber Holiday Autos war leider alles andere als zufriedenstellend. Obwohl die Reservierung bestÀtigt war, gab es vor Ort große Probleme mit dem Partneranbieter (Eren Rent a Car )in der TÃŒrkei. Das Fahrzeug entsprach nicht der gebuchten Kategorie und zusÀtzliche Kosten (Sehr hohe Deposit!)wurden verlangt, die vorher nicht transparent kommuniziert wurden.
Der Kundenservice von Holiday Autos war kaum erreichbar und wenig hilfreich. Statt UnterstÌtzung gab es nur Standardantworten, ohne echte Lösungen anzubieten. Am Ende blieb ich auf Stress und Mehrkosten sitzen. Ohne Reifenpanne wurden Reifenkosten abgezogen!
Insgesamt wirkt Holiday Autos eher wie ein Vermittler ohne Verantwortung. Ich wÃŒrde hier nicht noch einmal buchen und kann es leider nicht weiterempfehlen!
Werde auf allen möglichen Online Plattformen meine Bewertung ausweiten !

Holiday Autos ÃŒzerinden yaptığım rezervasyon maalesef hiç de tatmin edici değildi. Rezervasyon onaylanmış olmasına rağmen, TÃŒrkiye'deki ortak sağlayıcı (Eren Rent a Car) ile bÃŒyÃŒk sorunlar yaşandı. Araç, rezervasyon yaptığım kategoriye uygun değildi ve önceden açıkça belirtilmeyen ek masraflar (çok yÃŒksek depozito!) talep edildi.
Holiday Autos'un mÌşteri hizmetlerine ulaşmak neredeyse imkansızdı ve pek yardımcı olmadılar. Destek yerine, gerçek çözÃŒmler sunmadan sadece standart cevaplar verdiler. Sonunda stres ve ek masraflarla baş başa kaldım. Lastik patlamamasına rağmen lastik masrafları kesildi!
Genel olarak Holiday Autos, sorumluluk almayan bir aracı gibi görÃŒnÃŒyor. Bir daha buradan rezervasyon yapmayacağım ve maalesef tavsiye edemem!

Unfortunately, booking through Holiday Autos was anything but satisfactory. Although the reservation was confirmed, there were major problems with the partner provider (Eren Rent a Car) in Turkey. The vehicle did not correspond to the category booked and additional costs (very high deposit!) were charged, which had not been communicated transparently beforehand.
Holiday Autos' customer service was difficult to reach and unhelpful. Instead of support, I only received standard responses without any real solutions. In the end, I was left with stress and additional costs. Tyre costs were deducted even though I didn't have a flat tyre!
Overall, Holiday Autos seems more like an intermediary without any responsibility. I would not book with them again and unfortunately cannot recommend them!
I will expand my review on all possible online platforms!

NON noleggiate con loro, sono ladri

Se si potesse, darei anche sotto zero stelle. Pessimo servizio e pessimo personale. Maleducati al 1000 x 1000. LADRI e poco onesti, ti “obbligano” a pagare delle tasse per il passaggio del ponte tra Europa e Asia (chiamato HGS) dove si inventano i prezzi. Il passaggio costa 60 lire turche e loro te ne RUBANO 1000 per 5 passaggi. È una truffa e sono veramente dei pezzenti, ho dovuto chiamare la polizia dell’aeroporto e farla intervenire.

This was the worst and most unprofessional car rental experience I have had in 9 years of renting cars in Turkey. I booked through Carjet, but my reservation was outsourced to two different companies (Eren Rent a Car and then Eva Rent a Car), with no transparency or accountability. I even paid an extra €50 for “full insurance” through Carjet.

Before arrival, I confirmed with an Eren representative in writing that I was fully insured and did not need anything else. However, at pickup, both Eren and Eva claimed my Carjet insurance was “not valid” and demanded another €100 for their own insurance – just two hours after confirming the opposite. My policy clearly covered up to €10,000, so their claim was false.

When I refused and said I would use the Carjet insurance I had already purchased, they threatened that even the smallest scratch would cost me the full €1100 deposit. This was clearly an attempt at fraud, and I felt intimidated.

I immediately contacted Carjet and their partners, but nobody took responsibility. I ended up stranded at Istanbul Airport from 22:00 until 01:00 with no car, wasting more than three hours trying to resolve the situation. Finally, I had no choice but to rent directly from another company at the airport – which was cheaper, had only a €200 deposit, and no hidden costs.

I filed a formal complaint with Carjet, but it was dismissed without any serious review. They refused to issue a refund despite the obvious scam and the stress I experienced.

Eren does not take responsibility for its partners, provides zero customer service, and leaves customers to pay the price. I strongly advise everyone to avoid Eren and Eva and CarJet

Reserve en Turquia un coche para recoger en Göreme (Capadocia) y devolver en Estambul. Cancelamos de acuerdo a la política de cancelación y deberían de habernos devuelto el importe íntegro (mas de 400€). La cancelación fue hecha en mayo de 2023 y la reserva era para agosto. Después de varias comunicaciones (Todas ellas por el WhatsApp oficial de la compañia) no hemos recibido el reembolso. Nadie contesta. No se puede calificar de otra forma que de estafa. Cobrar por un servicio no prestado

Lamentablemente, ha pasado casi un mes desde que volvimos de Turquía y no hemos recuperado el dinero. Desde el 8 de agosto hasta el 24 de agosto recorrimos bastante parte del país (Ankara, Capadocia, Konya, Antalya, Costa Turquesa, Pamukkale, Éfeso, Pérgamo, Izmir y finalmente Estambul. El hecho de que hayamos sido estafados, no deja de influir negativamente en nuestra experiencia de Turquía como país. Es una pena que como turistas no estemos protegidos de este tipo de actitudes

Arnaque du siÚcle deux entreprises de location #eren rental car # express car rental# qui ont le même patron et véhicule loué via le comparateur discovers car et les mêmes salariés et je vous expose ci aprÚs le problÚme que j’ai eu : lors de la prise de possession de la voiture le loueur indique que ma carte ne passait pas ce qui est étonnant ( j’ai une limite de paiement de 6000 euros), de ce fait il m’oblige de payer une assurance supplémentaire de 7 euros / jours, il me demande de payer en espÚce et lui laisser une caution de 210 euros ce que j’ai fait. tout cela se fait à une heure tardive mon vol est arrivé à 02 heure du matin je lui laisse donc 397 euros ( 187 location et 210 caution ) a la levée du jour je teste ma carte ailleurs elle fonctionne sans problÚme! je repars donc le voir pour payer avec la carte elle ne semble toujours pas passer pour la caution, je lui explique l’intérêt pour moi de payer par carte pour avoir la couverture assurance visa pour moi et ma famille il teste ma carte qui selon lui fonctionne pour la location et ne fonctionne pas pour la caution ce qui est toujours étonnant ! il me rembourse donc les 187 euros pour la location et garde la caution en espÚce. au moment de rendre la voiture il ne trouve pas les 200 euros de la caution il m’annonce qu’il m’avait tout remboursé le jour ou j’avais payé par carte puisque il n’a pas pris de caution selon lui !ce qui est étonnant. tout cela se passe sans aucune facture ni justificatif. le seul élément dont je dispose est seule la feuille de l’état des lieux et le reçu de carte bleu pour le paiement des 187 euros. j’ai horreur des personnes mal honnête et qui en profitent de la situation des étrangers qui ont un problÚme de langue ! j’ai bien aimé la Turquie profonde et le seul mauvais souvenir que je garderais et le loueur de voiture. De plus contrairement à ses affirmations le louer n’est pas localisé à l’aéroport au moment de rendre la voiture il a fait en sorte de me faire larder du temps ( + de 45 mn) au point de presque me faire perde mon vol aprÚs plusieurs échanges il n’a pas cherché à comprendre il m’a simplement montré une vidéo avec un enregistrement ou il me rembourse les 187 euros que j’ai payé en espÚce, en me disant que c’était la preuve du
remboursement de la caution et le remboursement soit 400 euros dans aucun justificatif ni preuve alors qu’il n’a pas le droit de m’enregistrer en vidéo ni en audio. Dans tous les cas avec mon assurance juridique j’ai saisi la commission d’arbitrage turque ce type d’arnaque il faut qu’elle cessent dans ce grand pays de mustapha ataturk et que les touristes fassent attention. En résumé le véhicule affiche au moment de la réservation en location 25 euros / j, sur place il me revenait à 32 euros /j et au retour à 66 euros /j finalement c’est les prix pratiqués par les loueurs de confiance en Europe qu’on peut trouver un peu moins cher!
