Appalling company — steer well clear.
My 15‑year‑old son spent his hard‑saved money on their products, and the throttle failed within days. We returned it using Royal Mail Tracked 24, signed‑for. Delivered. Signed for. Proven.

WinCtrl’s response?
“We don’t have it.”
Unbelievable.

Their customer service is robotic, unhelpful, and completely uninterested in resolving anything. It’s like they’re reading from a script designed to stall you until you give up.

I’ve escalated to PayPal because WinCtrl clearly won’t do the right thing.
Save yourself the stress — avoid this company entirely.

My original throttle broke after about two months, so I returned it at my own cost (17.49€). After that, I received the wrong replacement product (32 PAC Metal) instead of the correct throttle.

The situation escalated to a PayPal dispute. During this process, the seller said that if I closed the dispute, they would refund the shipping costs and send the correct replacement throttle.

Even though I already had a bad feeling and knew where this was going when closing the dispute, I wanted to see if they would go that far and lie to their customers.

Suprise! They lied and made wrong promises.

After I closed the PayPal dispute based on their written confirmation, they did not follow the agreement. Instead of sending the correct replacement throttle and refunding the shipping costs as promised, they are now again insisting that I return the wrong PAC at my own expense.
This process is going for 3 moths now, still no solution. Just absolute lying to customers and giving them a big headache.

Please, stay away from this company, as far as you can!

Parcel never arrived and courier ended up sending it back to winctrl, the courier provided me proof it had been returned but winctrl said they hadn’t received it. I explained to them ad I never received it they were still responsible under UK consumer law, they refused to send replacement and said they would have to see if they received parcel back for refund. Even though I told them they were breaking the law the didn’t care. I ended up raising a dispute with PayPal and they settled in my favour. I have used winctrl several times without issue but when you have to contact customer service it’s a nightmare.

Ich habe mein gesamtes SimPit bei WinCtrl gekauft und bereue es. Die Hardware ist hochwertig und gut – ohne Frage –, aber der Support und die Geschäftspraktiken sind nicht mehr legal. Bei Defekten bist du der Dumme.

Sie verkaufen aus einem Warenhaus in Berlin heraus, was rechtlich ein EU-Standort ist, und versuchen innerhalb Deutschlands chinesisches Recht durchzusetzen.

In meinem Fall ging es um zwei nicht funktionierende MFD-Displays. Der Treiber wird nicht weiterentwickelt und ist für die aktuelle DCS-Version zu alt. Das System laggt und stürzt ab – egal, was man tut. Der Support hat irgendwann, ohne dass ich es je erwähnt habe, dem Treiberhersteller die Schuld gegeben und behauptet, sie könnten nichts machen. Ich solle mit einer DCS-Version aus März letzten Jahres fliegen und dürfe nicht updaten.

Ich habe dann drei Tage nach Eintreffen der Displays eine Rückgabe angefragt. Die Antwort: Nein, ich hätte sie ja bereits benutzt. Mit Hinweisen auf das 14-tägige Widerrufsrecht und der Eröffnung eines PayPal-Falls – inklusive vieler Bilder und sämtlicher Beweise, dass ich innerhalb Deutschlands gekauft habe und deutsches Recht gilt – hat sich PayPal der Sache angenommen und eine Rücknahme vereinbart. (Rückversand nach Prag für 17 Euro.) Zehn Tage nach dem Kauf hatten sie ihr Paket wieder.

Außerhalb von PayPal wurde ich von WinCtrl mehrfach dazu gedrängt, den Fall zu schließen, da sie sonst das Geld nicht zurücksenden könnten. Das habe ich nicht getan. PayPal versicherte mir, dass ich nach dem Schließen keinen neuen Fall eröffnen könne und das Geld dann verloren wäre. WinCtrl könne jederzeit zustimmen und das Geld zurücksenden. Jedem ist klar, was hier versucht wurde. Es wurde weiter herumgedruckst, und nach weiteren drei Wochen hat PayPal den Fall zu meinen Gunsten entschieden.

Ich hatte ursprünglich vor, dort auch noch die Pedale zu kaufen. Das werde ich jetzt definitiv nicht mehr.
