Easy to integrate API with a big variety of news and ways to filter them. Very useful GUI and easy to implement Python SDK. The "events" feature filters out news very well.

I wanted a news API that could provide broad coverage across multiple sources and geographies, at a reasonable price and with a good feature set - Newsapi.ai provided that as well as great support and an excellent testing / trial window to get started and validate its offering.

NewsAPI.ai is great value for how much it gives you. It has proven indispensable in rapidly building a news monitoring capability for our Third Party Risk Management platform, allowing us to spot potential and developing risks on behalf of our clients. The team is very responsive and has done a great job of bringing order to some very messy data, applying a lot of cutting-edge machine learning techniques to enrich the data.

We've been working with the Newsapi.ai to keep track of organizations, diseases and treatments targeting children and adolescents in the Global South. It's very useful to keep track of events rather than articles to avoid having to sift through similar articles. Location data and concept help finding information about particular organizations, rather than tracking keywords or themes.

The api is very easy to use, and the customer service is really responsive. The product is reasonably priced. I'm happy with both the coverage and content of the news. There are also a few useful and unique functions inside the api, such as removing the duplicates, and entity recognition.

Our company needed an API to get the latest news for the sector that we operate. We tried multiple vendors before we made our final selection. What we needed was a simple and easy-to-integrate solution to our platform. The sandbox / playground was a nice feature to setup our code faster but also useful for the non-technical people to evaluate the value that the API brings. However, the most important part, was by far the customer service. Yash really checked-in with us multiple times and offered help even when we also were in the free tier. To put it in other words, the combination of having a free-tier to make a quick proof of concept, the well-written documentation (most of the time) and the excellent customer service made our decision to go with Event Registry in the end very easy.
