What can I say….Huw is absolutely brilliant. I needed some extra help with flight planning, and he explained everything clearly and simply, from the basic fuel policy to extra fuel calculations to MRJT tables. If you’re looking for that extra push or need some additional support, I genuinely can’t recommend him highly enough.

I reached out to EVOATPL after failing my ATPL(A) Mass and Balance exam by 1 point, I ended up getting 74 % .

M&B - is often failed by students since they underestimate the time pressure at the exam which is 1 hour and 15 minutes to finish 25 questions with calculations and graph’s . And there is simply no time to recheck every answer.

I ended up getting 5 questions at the actual exam and passed it 2nd time around without issues since understanding is key.

ATPLs can seem very daunting at first, and having quality tuition is vital in understanding and applying this knowledge.

I had Huw and Glyn for the following subjects: AGK, Instrumentation, Mass and Balance, Flight Planning and Gen Nav. I cannot recommend these guys enough, their approach is friendly and approachable, whilst providing quality tuition that fits around your schedule. I really stuggled with Gen Nav with a previous instructor but with Huw's help I recently got 91% in the exam.

Their real world experience also helps you understand the subject area. Thanks guys

EvoATPL has clear and coherent resources and the instructors were brilliant for me. Huw really elevated my understanding and knowledge for Gen nav with great exam techniques and the option to choose how I wanted to tackle questions, using linear formulas or the CRP.

Huw was amazing, helping me get through 3 subjects that I struggled with. Really enjoyable sessions, kept lively with some humour as well!! Ended up going from struggling to understand the subject to being able to explain the content, be confident with exam technique and having confidence going into the exams. Would highly recommend. Excellent ATPL training and outstanding learning resources

I’ve had a great experience with EvoATPL and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. The team at Evo are fantastic – all of the instructors are extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and easy to talk to. This really helps to create a positive and supportive learning environment, which is incredibly important when studying ATPLs.

The course books offered by Evo are also excellent. They contain a lot of relevant, well-structured information, all backed up with clear and detailed diagrams and pictures. At the end of each chapter there are review questions, which are great for checking your understanding and reinforcing key topics.

What really sets Evo’s books apart from other providers is how well they’ve condensed the ATPL syllabus. We all know ATPLs involve a huge amount of information, yet Evo have managed to keep each book under 400 pages. This is genuinely impressive, especially when other providers’ books often run to 600–1000 pages. It makes the material much easier to read, understand, and absorb.

Overall, EvoATPL provide high-quality instruction, excellent learning resources, and a very positive study experience. Highly recommended.
