Mr Say Aun Quah was very informative and explained the procedure clearly from the beginning. Throughout the entire process, I dealt directly with Mr Quah and was never passed around to different people, which was a massive positive. Having one point of contact made everything much more straightforward and reassuring. I felt well informed and supported at every stage, and I would highly recommend Mr Quah for his professionalism and excellent patient care.

Lovely clean and modern clinic, friendly and helpful team at all stages of my visit. My consultant is very professional and pleasant, I was given as much time as needed to fully listened to my concerns and description of my symptoms and gave me full and clear explanations on my stages of recovery and expected outcome, which was valuable reassurance. Clinic handled all aspects of my pre and post consultations and surgery with utmost professionalism. My thanks to the whole team.

Wonderful experience. I was treated for cataracts in both eyes and was advised by Mr. Goel that EDOF lenses were my best option due to me suffering from misalignment. I am thrilled with the result and have better vision now than when I was a teenager (a lot of years ago!). Mr. Goel and all the team at Hesslewood Spire were so professional with their care and consideration. I recently received treatment from Mr Say Aun Quah and was extremely pleased with the care I received throughout my experience.

From the initial consultation to the follow-up appointments, everything was explained clearly and professionally. Mr Quah took the time to answer my questions, discuss my options, and ensure I felt comfortable and informed at every stage.

I had right eye lens replacement surgery, carried out by Mr Quah and I am extremely happy with the result. Mr Quah performed left eye lens replacement for me eight years ago and I was so impressed by his manner, expertise and skill that he was the only surgeon I considered when the sight in my right eye deteriorated.
He took the time to go through all the options with me and identified an issue with my left eye. He suggested some minor treatment for that (which did help to some extent) before resorting to surgery,
The whole experience was positive. I had reason to speak with Mr Quah’s secretaries, Amanda and Helen, on several occasions and they were always pleasant, receptive, helpful and responsive. The nursing, theatre and ancillary staff on the day of the surgery were reassuring, friendly and attentive.
I’m thrilled with my “new” eyes and it is great not to have to hunt around the house for a pair of glasses before reading a label or instructions!
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mr Quah to anyone who needs an eye consultation and/or surgery.

I cannot recommend Mr Hickley highly enough!

Over the past 18 months, Mr Hickley has carried out highly successful cataract operations for three of my relatives. Most recently, he treated my 94-year-old grandmother, who was virtually blind and understandably extremely nervous about the procedure.

From the very first appointment through to the operation itself, Mr Hickley showed exceptional care, patience, and professionalism, putting my grandmother completely at ease throughout. Lindsay the Optometrist and the entire surgical team were also absolutely wonderful and provided outstanding support every step of the way.

Thanks to Mr Hickley and his team, my grandmother is now able to see the world clearly again.

Today I have been signed off 12 weeks post Upper Bleph, I cannot fault the service received from Mr Hickey, thrilled with the outcome and wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

Absolutely spot on. Could not fault the service at all. My sight is such a grand improvement with the premium lenses that Mr Quah recommended. The procedures were flawless and I only experienced a little discomfort afterwards. No painkillers were required.

I recently had cataract surgery and lens replacement , after going to see my local optician Smith & Walker in Barton upon Humber who diagnosed my symptoms after a well know high street company missed it four times even though I paid for all the computer wizardry. For the last year my long distance sight was blurred and I needed a prism in my glasses too
The procedure itself was surprisingly quick and painless—I was in and out of the clinic in a few hours, and the actual surgery felt like it took less than 15 minutes. My surgeon Mr Goul who I must say is probably the best surgeon Iv met with regards his ease of explaining things and his vast knowledge plus the medical team he uses were incredibly professional, walking me through every step and making me feel completely at ease. I like to say a massive thank you again
Within 24 hours, my vision was great The "fog" is gone, colors are vibrant again, and for the first time in ages I can read signs and labels without reaching for my glasses If you’re on the fence, don’t wait. This surgery has truly improved my quality of life and I only wish I had done it sooner!

Mr Hickley and Lindsay Stewart his supporting optometrist were very thorough, knowledgable, helpful and supportive.

They explained everything in enough detail, in sufficiently "non technical" terms, for me to understand and to be confident I was making informed choices.

I have had lens replacement in both eye's. Procedures were "uneventful" which is exactly what you want and my vision is great.

Post operation medication was very clearly explained with a great "tick sheet" to enable you to be sure that you did the right drops at the right time.

Good all round experience with excellent outcome

I always receive excellent service from Mr Goel and the team at the Eye Correction Centre. They are very professional and informative about follow ups from the lens implant I had some years ago. I am very grateful that my optician recommended the service and I have such fantastic vision without the use of glasses.

Excellent experience, the staff were friendly and efficient. I was seen on time and Mr Quah and his team are superb, very competent, friendly and efficient.

I decided to have lens replacement as was fed up of wearing glasses and contact lenses . I am really pleased with the outcome . Before my surgery everything was explained to me clearly and the staff were very friendly .

Mr Say Aún Quah was extremely friendly and instantly put me at ease. Despite all my research, I was very nervous about having the surgery but he explained the procedure in detail and answered all my questions thoroughly. He took his time with me and I felt in safe hands. All the staff were very professional including the optometrist. I would highly recommend.

Staff very professional and approachable. All correspondence was timely and data protected at all times. If I had any concerns the admin team dealt with them quickly. The service provided throughout my visits from the staff was excellent. The service provided by Mr Goel and his medical team was second to none. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who requires cataract surgery.

Annabelle at Clearview Opticians recommended Mr Goel for my cataracts. I have a history of uveitis, which can leave scarring on the cornea, but Mr Goel put me at ease and carefully explained my options. He has a friendly but professional manner and i always felt confident I was in capable hands.
