This was my son Tobias first experience abroad, and it was a wonderful one!!
He spent three fantastic weeks with Fitzpatrick family: he did and enjoyed a lot of activities with them like cycling long a canal, walking in the forest and they visited together a lot of places all around Ireland (from the Moher Cliff to Dublin, Glendalough Wicklow, Powerscourt waterfall, Paulnabrone Dolmen in the Burren…). It was a real immersion experience in Irish life: they went to the cinema; they spend free time all together playing boarding games and videogames. They participated all together to a Guinness World record event too!!!
For me it was very nice to have some messages and pictures from the family during Tobias’s stay: nice to be updated about daily life!
Tobias was really part of the family, and his English has improved.

The overall experience in Ireland has been good for my 17-year-old daughter.
The very kind and friendly family welcomed Alexandra very well. Perhaps what could be improved is the activities with the family, I think they could visit more things and go out more to make the experience more profitable.

Rohan is very easy to deal with, we got two young Spanish girls for a week, everything was well organised. The week flew by!

We hosted 4 students in August 2024. Company didn't stick to schedule and made a number of changes through out the week. Also when students arrive they were whisked off to another county rather than stay in the city and get use to bus route and area they were staying in. a few of the activities were on late when meant we were eating late.

Great platform, very user friendly, safe and trustworthy, excellent communication on arrangements. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

From the first contact with famworld the treatment received was wonderful, they resolved all our initial doubts and Bruno spent a wonderful summer with the Slye family. I totally recommend Famworld!!!

Rohan, Claire and Robert do an excellent job helping Irish host families welcome new Spanish students to their homes every year. Rohan and the team are professional, efficient and excellent ambassadors for Ireland. We have made new friends through our experience with famworld.

This was my first time hosting students. The team made it easy, with clear instructions and information on what to expect, what my responsibilities would be and what to do in case anything went wrong. The experience was great, with most of the students being delightful and great to host. When problems arose, they were there to solve them, making the whole experience quite pleasant. I highly recommend Famworld and I hope to continue hosting with them.

The platform is easy to use, privacy is respected and messages are sent when host family receives an enquiry.
Home visits from HEBE and emails are sent to verify all is in order, I actually like the communication between the host family and the parents. Everything is straight forward, payment received the day the student leaves, communication and response from HEBE is really prompt and fast, would highly recommend

The organisation had everything well structured and communicated, host family knew exactly what to expect in terms of scheduling and the student also knew what to expect on arrival and during their stay.

The communication was great from start to finish and they were always at the end of a phone if there was a problem. They are professional, student and learning centric within an ideal environment. A pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend them.

Having worked as a host family with several different agencies, and having worked as a welfare manager for one of the largest agencies, I find Famworld, the easiest to contact and deal with. You get the profile of the student that has been assigned to you, and through the APP, you can view your students details, food and medical notes, etc. and make contact with the student and family ahead of their planned trip.
Famworld are very involved in the welfare of their students, with regular check-ins and monitoring of each students progress, whether that student is being hosted for 2 weeks or for an academic year. Before a student is placed, they ensure that the routes to and from their language school and day trips are checked, mapped and planned, and each student is provided with a travel card. A group coordinator is assigned to the students, and again, there are regular checkins with the student and the host family. Additionally, a point worth noting, Famworld pay their host families fairly, and payments are always made on time.

Hosting students through Famworld has been a wonderful experience. The company provided excellent support, clear communication, and matched us with students who fit well with our family. The registration process was smooth, and they were always available to assist whenever needed. We’ve enjoyed learning about new cultures and feel that the exchange has enriched our lives. Overall, Famworld made the entire hosting experience seamless and rewarding. Highly recommended for anyone considering hosting students!

I was a host family for famworld this summer I had 3 different boys come to stay in my home for 2 weeks intervals each. I have been hosting for 9 years now and this was my first time going through famworld. I found them extremely easy to deal with they carried out every step very professionally and the communication was excellent. From pick up to drop off everything ran seamlessly
