Thank you so much for your lovely message. We've got to admit it was one of our favourite evening events this year having run a couple, some fantastic people attended the event - thank you for choosing to spend your evening with us. All the best for this upcoming festive season, we'll be hosting lots more events like this before the year is through.

Love this! We're so pleased you decided to come up to the farm shed and that you enjoyed your time with us. The workshops provided little ones practice with fine motor skills along with lots of fun activities and so we're really happy these appealed to you guys too. We hope to see you again soon!

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for your kind review! I did go home for a break as you mightve guessed, but then just been back up for a good hour cleaning ready for tomorrow.. so this was heart warming to receive as i just stepped back through the door. Hi Diana,

I’m really sorry to hear that you’ve had a negative experience—that’s never something I want anyone to feel when dealing with us.

I’m a little confused, though. After reaching out to you by email to ask how best we could resolve the issue, I didn’t receive a reply to my last message. I initially contacted you just 10 minutes after your order was placed, as I noticed it had been made using a 100% discount code that wasn’t intended for public use named 'TEST'.

Resolving the situation was made more difficult because your booking was for a group of six people to attend the farm for free, but no contact number was provided. That meant I had no way to reach you quickly in case of any issues.

Thank you for replying the next day and explaining that you’d found the unadvertised discount code through a browser extension that automatically applies any available codes. I’ve now removed that code to prevent future confusion.

I did apologise in my follow-up email and explained that I couldn’t honour the 100% discount, but I did offer an alternative as a goodwill gesture. I’m genuinely sorry that you chose to leave a one-star review before we had a chance to fully resolve things.

I understand your disappointment—especially if you believed the discount was valid—but the code was left active for internal testing purposes and wasn’t meant to be publicly accessible.

As a micro business in our second year of running Halloween Pumpkin Patch Days, we’re still learning and improving. Your original booking on 11th October for the 31st was cancelled by me on 12th October, and no payment was taken.

With all that in mind, and despite the misunderstanding, I truly hope you and your family have a wonderful Halloween.

Warm regards, Lisa Leach, Hardy Landscaping Ltd T/as Festive Farm Shed

Awe what an amazing review to wake up to! :-) thank you so much! And thanks for mentioning about being helpful after Christmas, as we are here all year round, even if it is just working quietly in the background!. Thank you so much for buying from us, we have the BEST customers.

Thanks Angela, we do have an option for cheaper postage by royal mail. Also, we don't add any money onto the cost of our APC service which is a fully insured service. I hope that that the total cost of getting your breakable items was still very competitive. Thank you for your feedback. It is tricky finding a happy medium between a service that works and is also good value.
