Review of FCPEuro.com – A Cautionary Experience from an Industry Professional

As a well-established independent auto shop with a large and loyal customer base, we typically don’t leave public reviews—unless an experience is significantly disappointing. Unfortunately, our recent interactions with FCPEuro.com have compelled us to share a serious caution with other automotive professionals and enthusiasts.

FCPEuro frequently markets its parts—particularly for Mercedes-Benz vehicles—as “Genuine Mercedes-Benz Parts.” In our professional experience, this labeling is highly misleading. The parts we received were indistinguishable from aftermarket or OEM-equivalent components readily available through other distributors—often at half the price or less, despite having the exact same part numbers.

This pricing practice raises legitimate concerns about misrepresentation and markup inflation. By labeling these components as “Genuine,” FCPEuro appears to justify steep price increases on parts that are not clearly sourced through official Mercedes-Benz supply chains. For shops that rely on authenticity for restorations and high-standard maintenance, this kind of mislabeling is unacceptable.

Equally problematic is their return policy. FCPEuro does not offer complimentary return shipping—even when the return is due to a fitment issue or catalog error. Customers are expected to select and pay for their own shipping provider, insure the return package, and absorb the financial risk if the item is lost in transit. For a business operating at this scale, this approach is far from customer-friendly and creates unnecessary hassle.

To put this in perspective: we spent approximately $6,439.44 with FCPEuro on what was our first and only order. We had plans to purchase significantly more inventory, but after this experience, we’ve decided to take our business elsewhere. We have since partnered with another supplier who offers the same parts at substantially lower prices, and whose return policy includes free, hassle-free returns—something FCPEuro fails to provide.

In summary, we strongly advise both individual consumers and industry professionals to exercise caution before purchasing from FCPEuro.com. There are far more transparent, competitively priced, and customer-focused alternatives available. Based on our experience, we recommend looking elsewhere.

They offered you $close to $15 for…

They offered you $close to $15 for faster delivery and yet it will not be delivered as showed after your payment and not able to get real live agents at all , they never answer !! Its just my bad luck or this super starts reviews of people saying amazing things dont add up at all !!

Products are great but just be careful…

Products are great but just be careful with the shipping. The website talks about products being in stock and shipping the next day but I have not had that happen. The last order I placed I needed the part so I could fix my car over July 4th weekend (long weekend). I ordered on the previous Sunday and paid for the expedited shipping. The website said it would ship Monday and be to me my Wednesday. On Wednesday I received notification that it shipped. So now I am not going to have it by the weekend which is very frustrating. Customer service did refund my shipping but that is not the problem...the problem is I cannot fix my car. I like the company and have ordered multiple times but just be careful with the shipping if you need something quick.

Lifetime replacement should be the standard others offer same for less

Lifetime replacement ya ya lots of places same warranty should come with anyways. Prices are ridiculous. Overhead is causing lost business. Maybe cut back on the over paid employees and cause prices to soar way too high. They wasn’t 4500 for set of fuel injectors lol how ridiculously insane for same part with same warranty for less than half that price.

Using UPS as a carrier for there…

Using UPS as a carrier for there packages, is enough to make a happy customer go else where for there parts. If you turn over a package to UPS, and the Customer did not receive it, doesn't mean FCP euro is in the clear. You guys should continue to care about your customers until they get the package they paid for.... and if that means you guys need to use other carriers, you should, instead of telling the customer there's nothing you guys can do. Well, there is. Get rid of UPS. Period.

The next time I need a part in a reasonable amount of time, I will have to sadly turn else where. I feel bad for the customers who pay extra for shipping and dont get there package when they paid to get it there. Quite sad.

The business fail to disclose the…

The business fail to disclose the additional charge you will receive when purchasing over seas. FCPEuro charge you for shipping then after purchase the delivery company also charge you for shipping. Their customer service is so slow, you end up having to pay the hidden fee. Their customer service also state that the additional delivery fee is stated on their website but if you actually read their policy you cannot see this stated anywhere.

If your purchasing from FCPEuro and you are not in the US then please expect an additional cost of around £70.

Not impressed in the slightest...

Returns

Just threw away $123.00 because they wouldn't help me with a simple return. Was unable to fill out their stupid return form and no one there would fill it out for me over the phone.
I'll only buy locally from now on where I can walk in and easily return wrong parts.

Shipping Delays

Had an order placed over a week ago with no updates. I contacted customer service over the phone and they cannot refund my order because it is "in processing." Apparently, an oil change kit listed as in stock is not truly in stock and I have no updates as to when I can recieve it.
Update: after posting this, I had been contacted and they sent an expedited package to meet my deadline. The customer service supervisor, Kevin, had taken care of the issue above and beyond what was necessary to assist me. Thankfully, they made things right in the end.

I don’t know what is going on with FCP

I don’t know what is going on with FCP, but their deliveries are crap. They used to be fast and dependable. The last two deliveries never made it to us and we paid extra for expedited delivery. We paid extra because their delivery estimates are now longer than they have been in the past. Just go straight to your dealer(s) part department and you’ll be able to pick up the part, when you need it, and at a cheaper price.

Avoid This Company

Do not buy buy into the Lifetime Guarantee. It is a way for them to lock you into their company and extract more money from you. It is not a normal warranty return and credit system. It is a you purchase the part, you pay to have it shipped, you pay a shop to install it, then you do it all again when the part fails. Now that you paid for everything twice, you get the privelage of doing a RMA request, boxing and paying for shipping back. Only to receive a store credit that is there forever. I know stuff breaks but come on, a quick part failure cost you double and then you do not get the funds credited back to you. You get a forever credit with FCP. That is a terrible business model.

I guess if you are breaking your car parts constantly, it is a good thing. However, if you only have the standard failure once in a while, you have excessive funds tied up to only be used with their company. Read everything you can about this corporation. Avoid them! There is obviously a reason a lot of their previous customers are takin the time to write these reviews. I cannot see myself needing thousands of dollars in parts anytime soon. Nice to know that they will keep those funds tied up in their system for me! Shop with a more straight forward company. Shop with a company that is more transparent.

The way they word the Lifetime stuff is legal garbage worded in a very misleading way. Hopefully this review will prevent others from making the same mistake I did.

Failed to honor their commitiment…

Failed to honor their commitiment multiple times. Called in about the replacement guarantee, told them i needed the part urgently and provided them with the diagnostic from the mechanic that said the part was failing. The lady informed me it would be sent out the next day. I get a message the next day that it needs to be submitted through the replacement guarantee so I called back and told them that was exactly what I did. They said the lady gave me the wrong information and that I would have to buy a new part and would only receive some store credit. Was not offered any sort of express shipping either. This is not the first time I've had an issue with them. I ordered a part 6 months ago that was "guaranteed fit" it did not fit my vehicle and when I called in to receive the return label they said they would not pay for the return and that I had to pay that $70 out of my own pocket. Complete liars, total scam. Buy local or from bimmerparts if you want a trusted company

DO NOT ORDER FROM FCPEURO

I highly recommend not ordering a genuine bmw high pressure fuel pump from this place at all. Save your money and time and just go to ECSTuning.com or TurnerMotorsports.com. I ordered a Genuine BMW High Pressure Fuel Pump March 13th and paid the extra 15$ to have it shipped on the 20th.... it is now the 21st and there have been nothing for new updates. Also was supposed to get a refund for $14.99 for the shipping and they told me my bank was declining it. Not true at all... Also was looking to have my money refunded for the item and they told me it was too late the item is "in processing". It has been "in processing" for 9 days now without any new updates on the shipping... please do not waste your time or give yourself a headache trying to communicate with these fools... The shipping is very inaccurate and misleading, and they don't know anything about the vendors they ship your parts from. Also this is my first time using this company and it is a very bad experience....

Sent the wrong part and cost me extra money and now cost to send the worg part back

Sent the wrong part and I've been on the phone waiting to talk to a rep for over 25 minutes if the have that much trouble with parts they need to hire 20 more customer reps. I entered the year make and modle and the part was displayed and I bought it.
I was out of town and scheduled a moble Mercedes BMW mechanic to meet me in Nevada as I would only be in town for 3 days, opens the box and says it's the worg part I call FCP Euro and wants me to pay to ship the parts back plus I had to Pau the time for the mobile mechanic and they tell me the parts I need are over double the cost. I'll stick with Pelican parts I've had parts for my porsche sent overnight when I was stuck and was dangerous to drive. NO MORE FUCP EURO good luck.

Truly unbeatable customer service

I’ve had a couple issues with some orders breaking and coming broken, and tried to solve it through my CC, which was my mistake. After some back and forth and miscommunication, I was starting to get very frustrated. FCP euro got back to me and took full responsibility, even though it probably was my fault for going the CC route. Andre helped me and was so helpful and very respectful. Even with me voicing my frustration, not only did they fix my issue immediately, they went above and beyond to make the situation right. I have nothing but great things to say about this company, they blow customer service out of the water of especially to other similar auto parts sites.
