I have worked with Matt Winder at First Point for the last 4 years for our medical and life insurances. He is great to work with, easy to chat to and has great communication. They literally take all the hassle out of knowing which products are best for us and ensuring that we are getting the best deals.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

Having used Firstpoint for over 10 years for home and car insurance I recently asked them to help with quotes for Health Insurance. Pete Roberts was able to prove a quote substantially lower than my current provider and I have just made the switch. My association with First Point is through Mr. Matt Winder, for over 6 years now. Matt is a very solid insurance professional and he is very client centric. He makes all the efforts to understand his clients’ needs and advises solutions that are most relevant to their needs and situations. He patiently discusses the options and outlines the pros vs cons. Since my first introduction I have made several changes to both my medical and life plans and in each of those situations he spends a lot of time to make sure the solution fits well. He is a committed and sincere person and thinks for the clients. His approach is very sincere and discussions are professional. He listens intently, explains clearly and ensures he operates within the framework of the policies and regulations. Mia and the First Point team have been nothing but excellent since I first began dealing with them years ago.
They recently assisted me in choosing Life Insurance and Critical Illness policies and the service and assistance they provided throughout the process was wonderful.

Very efficient service with good price comparison

First Point were as always very efficient regarding our renewal with clear information provided and very quick responses to any queries.

Just wanted to thank Peter Roberts for his advice on our claim we did not even know that we had critical cover and his advice and expertise made us put a claim in and it had come through with the full amount without Peters advice we would have never know that we could of claimed.

Mia contacted me in the Summer making enquiries about my policy. I advised that I did not wish to update the same as, since taking out the policy, I had been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and I did not want my premium to go up.
Mia contacted me a very short while later and advised that, under my policy, my condition was a critical illness and that I may be able to make a claim under my policy.
I made the call and after a few months I did indeed receive a payout.
I really appreciate Mia taking the time to call me back and advise me that I may be entitled to some money and my premium remains as it was.

They are professional, amazingly fast to respond, and very helpful. This applies to both buying new policies as well as claims. I have been a happy customer for around nine years and they never disappoint (especially Cara and Peter). They cover all of my insurance needs (vehicles, home and content, life, and health).
