Filey in North Yorks is one of our favourite places and to discover the finest retreat apartments there helped make our stay. So much so that we returned this summer happy in knowing what to expect and we weren't disappointed. Our one bedroomed first floor apartment was central, had private parking and was just a short walk from the beach.
The instructions for gaining entry are clear, and, once inside it feels light and airy. The communal spaces are light cool and have attractive pictures on the walls.
The fixtures and fittings are of good quality, it has a great bathroom, good quality accessories and a well equipped kitchen including a choice of coffee makers and tablets for the dishwasher and washing machine. Everything you need for a great stay.
We booked this over the phone and a link was forwarded for payment so an easy process.
(Apart from booking this we had no need to communicate with anyone as everything was fine on arrival so we can't really comment on how staff dealt with queries)

This company advertise ‘35 goonrea’ Looe and it was an awful experience terrible property to stay in so many things awful. Also said sea view and detached property when clearly not. They have given no support after I complained just ignored my emails after complaining Then they had the audacity to take extra money from my account saying extra cleaning charges and new door mat needed ! I would not recommend this company and definitely not recommend anyone to stay at 35 goonrea. Looe.

If you have a simple holiday booking and don’t need to make any changes or ask questions, you’ll probably be fine. However, if you need any help afterwards, the customer service is extremely disappointing.

I had to email several times regarding my booking and needed an updated confirmation. Despite chasing this up, I was left waiting for months with no response or resolution. I eventually had to contact them again, only to be sent the old confirmation documents instead of the updated ones I had requested.

The lack of communication and support was really frustrating, especially when dealing with something as important as a holiday booking. A company should be there to help customers when issues arise, not make them repeatedly chase for basic information.

We had a superb stay at tideways. The house was very comfortable including beds and living area. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to use. Washer and dryer available which certainly came in handy.the views were amazing from inside and outside the property. The weather wasnt great when we visited so we particulary enjoyed the woodburner. The hot tub over looking the scenic views was a big hit. The kayacks were great fun and had life jackets to use. The property is set on a hill and there are quite a few steps to get into the property which those with motability problems may struggle with. Nice extras such as a welcome hamper. There are also board games to use. The herin inn is a short walk away and did a nice breakfast and a delicious dinner. The only thing we felt that would have made it better would be a gate up closer to the house, this way dogs would be enclosed and dog owners would have more peace of mind

Calm Cottage was gorgeous!! We loved our stay there and the company letting it were very responsive to a couple of things we mentioned that were broken. It didn’t spoil our stay at all and we had a wonderful time!!!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely little cottage. It is very comfortable, beautifully kept, and equipped with everything we needed. The view of the surrounding hills is truly stunning and made every morning special.

The location is perfect for exploring the Highlands — peaceful, quiet, and close to many beautiful places. We felt relaxed from the very first moment.

Thank you for creating such a welcoming place. We highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates calm, comfort, and breathtaking scenery.

Finest retreats were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The booking process was simple, the communication spot on, and our Cornwall holiday was quite simply brilliant. We made a small tweak to the time period that we were staying (we booked an extra night just before we were due to stay), and finest retreats were very accommodating in helping us to secure the extra night at a sensible fee. Would definitely recommend finest retreats.

Tregatreath is a beautiful house. We stayed here back in the 80’s and it is almost the same! There are some things that are a bit dated but that was part of the charm. There is only one bathroom which for 12 people was a challenge but we managed. The grounds are fantastic and the location of Coverack was perfect. Shame the pool was out of action, we had so much fun in it in the 80’s! There anre some beautiful walks to go on too, my son saw seals basking on some rocks nearby! Overall we had a wonderful stay. Finest Retreats are responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

We had a great stay at Manor cottage. It was the perfect home away from home for us as contractors working in the area. Maddie and Roxy were very helpful and communicated very well. Thank you 😊

Communication was good and all necessary information was provided promptly. Property listing was actually an good example of Finest Retreats... Private, well appointed and a cosy spacious place to have a wonderful vacation.

My wife and I stayed at Kelsick Guest house-Helvellyn Ambleside.
The information provided to enter the room and where to park the car were absolutely spot on. The room itself was perfect for our short stay and the location was great. We Will definitely be going back again, hopefully for a longer stay.

Beautiful location, very well equipped property, we were very pleased with our stay at the bungalow .

We have dealt with Amie the whole way through our booking with many questions along the way. She has answered them all and very willing to help. She is very positive and friendly with a great telephone manner.

Our kettle decided to stop working whilst on our stay and within no time at all another one was delivered to our door.

We stayed at Easter and are returning in the summer as loved the service, property and destination.

This was a family reunion of 7 adults gathered from Leeds, Bristol and Arizona, USA. Felin Ship had enough beds for all of us comfortably, 2 lounges with plenty of seating and a large, well-equipped kitchen. The driveway was big enough for 3 cars. I used the little summer house on one of the very rainy days to have a pot of tea, do some reading and sketching! And the garden, with it's river running through the bottom, was a beautiful oasis of calm. We could walk down the road to a Co-op and the village of Dolgellau just beyond with some cute shops, restaurants and pubs, plus an excellent bakery. This converted old saw mill was wonderful to come home to after a day of cycling, swimming, hiking up Cadair Idris, going to the beach at Barmouth among other activities we enjoyed in the area. It was clean, spacious and had all we needed. There was one time we needed something and the management was quick to communicate and fill the need. It was a fabulous 6-day getaway. So a big thank you to all of you!

Beautiful place, brilliant location and ideal for exploring Fowey by walking or with a boat. Water Taxis serve the jetty at the bottom of the garden, making it well connected.

The accommodation in Ambleside was very clean and comfortable. It was in a perfect location, central to all amenities.

We met a member of staff who manages the premises, he was very helpful, and even though it was a self check in, he came to say hello and check we were ok.

BEWARE!!!! I briefly made a booking with this company on booking.com but cancelled immediately. Although I had free cancellation the money was still taken from my account and 5 days later I have still not received back. I have just contacted booking.com (frustrating in itself speaking to a robot) and have been informed that the company have 15 days to refund the money which, in my opinion should not have been taken in the first place. I am appalled and disgusted that, firstly they took money for a booking I cancelled and secondly, they take so long to give me my money back!!!!

room was very clean and nicely prepared for us. personal was very great and caring). only thing that caught us of guard was shared bathroom and toilet as well as the promised balcony. but other than that our stay was great!) also we caught a time where there were not some many people, so shared bathroom wasn't that big of a deal)

We had such an amazing week at Cherry Tree Cottage! The Cottage was amazing and very comfortable. We loved the location too. Thank you for the warm welcoming surprise. Cannot wait to come back and explore more. Highly recommend it! Also Emma was absolutely amazing, she was always there to help.
