Our driver was amazing--super friendly, really patient, very safe driver, and went above and beyond by tailoring a playlist just for our event. There were traffic jam and weather challenges and he rolled with it all like the professional that he is.

We utilized First Charter Bus Rental for our wedding guest transportation. It was initially tough to get a response from First Charter, but we knew they were very busy with requests and short on staff at times. Ben was our driver! He reached out the week of the wedding to review the itinerary and make sure that we were confident that all would go perfect on his end. Ben was kind and accommodating, wanting us and all of our guests to enjoy their time during transport. He even gave us a wedding gift upon our departure back to the hotel! Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend First Charter for wedding transportation services!

I contracted bus shuttles for my daughter's wedding and the rehearsal dinner through First Charter Bus Rental. My service was provided through the Rochester, NH location. I was contacted the evening before each service to confirm all of the details. All of the bus drivers were prompt, cheerful, polite and courteous. Ben, was very skillful and professional navigating the tight and narrow turns in downtown Portsmouth. I would recommend this service without hesitation for anyone looking to transport a medium to large party of guests from hotels to venue. The cost of this service was very reasonable and extremely professional.

I would really like to give this 3.5 stars. The bus rental was used for getting guests to and from our wedding. The bus was a half hour late to the wedding and that caused panic and disorganized our day/cut it shorter. Buuuut the bus made it, driver was very friendly, and dealt with our loud and certainly intoxicated guests on the way home. We appreciated the service, just wish it was on time if not early for such an important day to us, which we spent a good deal of money on.

This is a strange review to write. We hired first student because they are a preferred vendor at our venue, got good reviews. We had a good experience through hiring them; fairly easy to contact them and make changes etc. that’s where the 3 stars are coming from. however the weekend of the wedding they were unable to provide services hired so they “upgraded” us by subcontracting to a coach company. I recognized the name of the company as one that I did not hire because of bad reviews. That company then sub-contracted to a smaller coach company. We had multiple issues with the subcontracted company that is irrelevant for this review. I would give the subcontracted company 1 star, maybe 2 stars if feeling generous because we inevitably got from point A to point B. That company is so small and any review that can be found online is also 1 star with numerous comments that the owner is awful and rude. I’m not sure what the solution would be here and First Student was very helpful along the way but maybe sub-contacting to a more reputable group if unable to provide services would be better.

We utilized first bus for our wedding guests. The driver checked in with us days prior to let us know our schedule and we had no complaints from our guests about it running late or not being on time for the wedding.

Three cheers for the bus drivers! We had 2 buses bringing our wedding guests to the venue. They had to reroute due to a massive accident and our guests still arrived on time! Drop off and pick up were smooth and easy. The drivers of both buses (Ben & Chris) contacted me prior to the event to review the itinerary and answer any last minute questions. In addition to being safe drivers, both guys were friendly and personable - thank you First Student!!
