i appreciated how 1st choice confirmed and called 30 minutes before my appt. my contractor was great, fast, clean and helpful.

These folks exemplify the idea of professionalism. In the preliminary call they reviewed pasts services performed for us (from a completely different house eight years prior), needs, as-well-as the scope of our current little project. These guys exceed the expectations of what a service company is supposed to be.

Our experience with 1st Choice Chimney LLC was a very positive one. The gentleman who cleaned our chimney was thorough, friendly, informative, and went above and beyond. We highly recommend this company and will absolutely use them in the future.

I had excellent service with 1st Choice Chimney. Ben was my technician and he did an outstanding job keeping me informed as he worked on two fireplaces in my home. He called ahead of time and let me know he was on target to arrive at the scheduled time. He was prompt and polite. He was respectful of my home and made sure that he cleaned any debris that was removed from the fireplaces. He showed me any issues and explained what could be done to remedy the situation. I will definitely recommend this company to others who need assistance with their fireplaces. Ben was the best!

I called to just have my chimney cleaned. They told me the way my chimney was designed they couldn't clean it until they did all these different repairs. Talked about even removing bricks. I became especially suspicious when they said they needed to remove a cover on the top that is riveted and that would take quite a bit of time just to remove the rivets. I would expect a company specializing in chimneys to have the proper tools such as a rivet removal tool. He wouldn't even know if it needed anything further until he did that. Some of what he said defied basic fire science which I pointed out since I'm a firefighter. He then wanted to charge me $99 just for coming out. I questioned that. He said he would go outside to talk to his supervisor, and I never heard from him or the company again. I then called someone who came out and cleaned it for me with no problem.

The chimney technican was prompt and very helpful with our old chimney & fireplace that had not been inspected in 30 years. Very professional and courteous and did a great job! Our flue had some minor problem that he adjusted and we are now continually using the fireplace, when the Texas weather gets chilly!

1st Choice Chimney technician installed new panels, replacing the worn and damaged ones. He was courteous and very knowledgeable. He also shared helpful tips related to fireplace safety.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a contractor. I hired them on 1/2/18 and fired them today, 2/12/18. This is a very long story spanning over 6 weeks. There is not enough space to relate all of the details, but here are the main issues: - No-show on the first call. - After the cleaning, technician did NOT call me with results of cleaning and investigation. - I then talked to Melissa to get the information I needed. She did NOT call me back. - I then talked to Mary who got me in touch with the technician. - I talked to the technician, Christian. He said the damper was not repairable. - I asked Christian to call me with gas log and new door options. He said he would call. - He did NOT call back. - I fired 1st Choice and hired another contractor. He told me that he COULD fix the damper. - He also went on the roof to inspect the chimney and found a rag in the chimney. Really! - Unbelievably poor communications plus poor service. Amazing!

Great experience and Great people to work with!

I didn't believe Daniel when he told us that we needed new logs until the one he was holding spontaneously cracked in two. Ha! We got a new logs set- everyone was easy to work with and we encountered no problems. Our fireplace area was left clean and now everything works!
