Do not trust this company. They are very dishonest. They will steal your money.

Don’t trust this company. We booked a day trip in the Seychelles months ago. The emailed us the boat before we agreed to the charter. The day we arrived it was a much smaller boat. We saw the boat we were promised but someone else was on it. We were bait and switched. No beer as promised, fishing gear was okay, but the snorkel gear had fuel spilled on it and burnt your face when you tried to use it.

Do not use Fishing Booker! I booked in May for a halibut trip in August in Homer, AK. Flew to Anchorage, and drove 4-hours to Homer in a rental car. Stayed in a hotel. Got up early and had my wife drive me to the dock. The directions to find the boat in the Fishing Booker app did not include dock or slip number, but showed a map location. I went there. No boat. Looked for the charter boat company on google and went to location on map. No boat. Texted and called captain repeatedly. No response. Called Fishing Booker’s help line. No answer. The boat was supposed to leave at 7am. At 8:09am I received a message that the trip was cancelled. Got a call from the captain saying he let Fishing Booker know several days prior that the trip was cancelled. Not message of cancellation was sent to me before the trip. In fact I received a reminder confirmation text the evening before. Do not use Fishing Booker. Book through the charter companies directly and save yourself a huge headache and expense.

I did reply to Fishing Booker and they asked what would be fair compensation for the complete fiasco of a booking that was cancelled with no notification. After providing detailed costs for my trip costs, I asked for $1000 in compensation to cover a portion of my travel, hotel, rental car, etc. and I would be happy to let the issue go. Fishing Booker promised to get back to me with their response. Over a month has gone by with no response so I assume they are just hoping I will go away. Thanks for wasting even more of my time Fishing Booker. I will continue to tell people to avoid you for as long as it takes to get some satisfaction for your errors.

We booked through FishingBooker and received a confirmed booking. Captain didn’t communicate despite calls and postings. One day before the booking we received a one line ‘mechanical issues’ along with cancellation from the captain. Float plane bookings to get there and hotels were all made. We got a refund on the deposit just fine. But… could not leave any feedback on the captain who was free from any accountability. Tried to get FB to do something but other than a $50 credit were useless. I didn’t want compensation - The process needs fixing!
As an illustration - I checked back and ‘Tips up charters of Sooke’ still have 5 stars. They are protected by the feedback process which incentivises them to cancel last minute rather than mess up publicly. Just WRONG.
Final Edit. Read their reply …. It’s None-sense and makes my point. Buyers use the public ratings to make informed choices so implying there are invisible forces at work behind the scenes illustrated FB are more concerned in keeping captains than customers.

We had two different guide services cancel on us. Fish booker is not wanting to provide full refund from one because they say I violated captains policies…… really it was the captain who cancelled the trip!!!!!!!!

Fish booker is dishonest in listing for captain’s and ripping us off on refunds!

Stay away from these people.

FishingBooker makes it easy to find guest that are looking to go fishing in our area and the ease of use for our customers and for us makes it a must have if you are looking to grow our charter business. We have returning groups that have booked with us through FishingBooker for several years now.

Fishingbooker.com allowed me to fast track the start of my fishing charter business here in Puerto Rico. The exposure has brought us a variety of clients who found what they were looking for in a fishing trip. I would absolutely recommend this platform for newcomers all the way to seasoned veterans.

We booked a trip with a guide working with FishingBooker as well as another resort. We thought it was all the same booking site. Come to find out it cost us an additional 200.00 for a 2 day trip using FB versus the local resort. FB claims we would have had to cancel the discrepancy within 24 hours. I would like to think the customer could trust either the guide or the booking agent instead of being a detective. It was the SAME GUIDE. FishingBooker passed the blame on the guide. All l I know is, we are out 200 bucks as the customer.

Ryan at Croix Boys beat all odds by hooking us up with our limit in some of the worst fishing conditions you could ask for.

Emerald “C” Fishing Charter was awesome. Capt Garrett was phenomenal. He knows fish & bait better than anyone I have ever seen. We requested offshore but, at the recommendation of Capt Craig, inshore was recommended because of high winds. So glad for the recommendation. Capt Garrett may be young but, don’t let that fool you! He knows his stuff & is safe!!

Total dissatisfaction. We booked a trip in Everglades City, FL, months in advance. Received multiple confirmations from FB up to a day before the trip. Captain never showed up, and did not respond to phone calls. We traveled a long way for a ruined trip.

Followup: FB did reach out and refund our deposit along with providing a modest credit for future use. Given their willingness to make it right, I'd consider using their service again. However, my advice is for users is to contact the Captain directly after receiving confirmation from FB to be sure he/she is still in operation and in communication with FB so you can confirm details and avoid a busted trip like we experienced. It's obvious that our Captain was not "in the loop".

I booked a fishing excursion through FishingBooker.com, and while the platform made it easy to compare charters and read reviews from other travelers -giving me confidence in my choice - the experience itself was disappointing.

On the morning of our trip, the captain demanded more than the agreed-upon price at the dock to cover additional expenses. Since we already purchased our fishing licenses were ready to depart, I had no choice but to pay if we wanted to fish that morning. Additionally, the charter listing clearly stated that lunch (chicken quesadillas) was included, but none were provided.

I reached out to FishingBooker’s customer service through multiple channels to report both the unexpected charge and the missing lunch. A representative assured me they would contact the charter captain to investigate, but after nearly a week, I have received no further updates.

Given this lack of follow-through and oversight, I would not rely on or recommend FishingBooker as a way to find reputable charter captains.

Unfortunately, the fishing trip with is one big scam. There is nothing at the address provided. We drove with the taxi driver to all available places in Marsa Alam and no one knew such a company. This is unacceptable. I will give the worst reviews everywhere and I hope that no one uses your services again.

I rely on fishing booker when I am traveling and want to go fishing. I have always had great experiences with their service. Their boats are what they say they are and the crew is always eager to make sure your fishing experience is top notch.
I recently went out with YKnot Fishing Charters in Curacao, had a great time and the crew even made us tuna sashimi with our catch. I found them through Fishing Booker.
I will continue to use their services because I have never been disapointed.

Very simple, they suck. I had limited time in Auckland to fish, booked 3 different trips and all 3 were canceled. So my review is simple, they suck,

FishingBooker er mere eller mindre skrald. Vi har nu forsøgt at booke 4 forskellige ture, forskellige dage, men det er endnu ikke lykkedes. Man booker det, så skal kaptajnen svare, og hver gang bliver det en aflysning. Selv når kaptajnen skriver at der fuldt booket, og derfor må afvise os, ligger den stadig inde på FishingBooker til at bestille. Det er en vanvittig dårlig side.

Ps. Vi har stadig ikke fået en fisketur, da FishingBooker har f*cked os op 4 gange.

I travel a lot and like to fish when I can. So booking guides is a several times a year event for me. I have had great experiences with getting guides from FishingBooker. They are not the only one I check when I am looking for a guide, but they are ALWAYS in the mix. Most of the time, it is FishingBooker that makes the connection for me.
