Being a first time landlord, I was slightly daunted by the prospect of letting my apartment - I was unsure of how to go about this, unsure of who to trust and wary of large, impersonal lettings agencies with excessive fees where you never speak to the same person twice and your issues are never fully resolved.

Fisks were (very fortunately!) recommended to me by a friend. From our first meeting, I was impressed by their market knowledge and depth of experience. Their practical approach meant I fully understood the letting process, every step of the way and they guided me with solid advice and a no-nonsense approach.

With Fisks, I received a realistic market appraisal of my property (Beware agents who overvalue and under-deliver!) and they successfully marketed my property, despite it being put on at a very quiet time of year. My apartment rented faster than I could have hoped, where other apartments in my block (on with other agents) remained on the market for a good while afterwards.

The staff at Fisks guided me through the negotiation process, advising me well and they achieved an excellent rental value. Their attention to detail (with regards to the paperwork and regulation behind letting) is second to none.

The thing that shone out for me, though, was the customer service. I got to know everyone at Fisks well during this process and they were always available to speak to me, no matter how obvious my question.

Even now that my apartment is successfully let, the "after-letting" service is impeccable and the support is still there. I live a good distance from my apartment and so 'popping in' to fix a leaky tap is not an option for me. Fisks have a knowledgeable set of tradespeople who quote competitively, which means I know that whatever the problem, my apartment is well looked after and I will not have big bills to pay.

Five star service without question, as well as being highly competitive on pricing. I would recommend Fisks without hesitation and will definitely continue to use them for as long as I rent my apartment. Well done everyone at Fisks and thank you so much for all your hard work on my behalf!

They do the simple things well. Seek instructions from me when needed and send monthly statements and rental payments on time at the beginning of each month. And tenancy renewals are negotiated and documented without fuss.
