I went to look the Southam branch over as I had recently moved to the area. It was not what I was looking for, and I told them so.
However, they have been emailing me for over two years now. There is no way to unsubscribe, and they pay no attention to emails asking them to desist.
I have now filtered them as spam.

Awful customer service from Gemma at fitness worx. Been a member for a few months and they advertised a black Friday annual membership deal for £350 which I emailed them to sign up for. They contacted me back saying it was a 'system error' and the deal is actually £450. I then advised I would be cancelling my membership by cancelling my direct debit as the member of staff Louie advised I could do on the day of sale at the gym as was only looking for a short term membership at the time. They then proceeded to cancel my membership immediately and I couldn't get in the gym today even though I paid til the end of the month. Avoid the gym as I echo what other people have said on here is that they will say anything to sign you up but then treat you like dirt on their shoe when you look to cancel. On top of that they responded to my review by saying I was aggressive and making threats on the phone which is completely untrue and slanderous which I will be looking to take legal action on asap. Avoid the gym as for the price you can pay you can get more competitive rates elsewhere with better facilities - no Air con sauna steam room or pool and it's £45 a month! There's a new pool opening up soon in Kenilworth where you'll be able to get gym included for less than this.

I’m very disappointed with the way this company handles genuine situations. I signed my son up and cancelled after just one visit, as he found the environment overwhelming and didn’t want to return. Despite this, they continued to take payment and refused to offer any flexibility or goodwill.

Their customer service is rigid, and there's no room for case-by-case understanding. It feels like profit comes before people. I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re looking for a company that values customer care or takes individual circumstances into account.

Great gym! Brilliant staff and facilities with consistently improving equipment.

Terrible gym and I’m considering legal action against them

Was banned for most weak reasons

First case a guy was harassing me during my workout told him frank I don’t have time to talk to him so he followed me around the gym he must have began to cry and told someone talk about man not acting like man

Next case a lady threw a hissy fit when I asked if she was finished on the machine

Sorry but everyone can ask you that and you can deal with it just the managers took it on themselves to clean her shoes for her

This company is clearly a running SCAM ! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
They run a promotion for £1 membership and once you paid using your bank card, they'll continue to take money from your bank despite you didn't sign up for any contract or direct debit. Beware and stay clear from them.
The company is ran by one person who claims to be the manager of whole company and very rude and arrogant. He will tell you that you've signed up for a contract and denies refunding your money when his promotion was misleading people to get their card details and continue taking money without authorisation.

For those affected, contact your bank and put a block on them or they will continue taking money from you!
Also, dispute any charges on your account directly with your bank to take your money back from this scammers.

Amazing gym has all the equipment i would need with a friendly environment and kind
staff, would definitely recommend.

I had a membership with Fitness Worx until May 2024 when I received an email confirming my cancellation. To my surprise I found that I had then been debited for June, July and August after this! After getting in contact with the gym, they have flat out refused to refund me in any way. The customer service is terrible with responses taking at least a week on top of at least 3 emails from me to catch them up. I found the Group Manager to be just as difficult with increasingly long delays and frequent mistakes in emails clearly indicating a lack of care or interest in their customers. My favourite email has to be in response to me pointing out for the hundredth time that they had sent me a cancellation confirmation email: "Take this up with your bank as everything we have done as been correct done with upmost our end." Whatever that is meant to mean. As far as I am concerned, this company targets students to make it difficult to cancel memberships and even sends out fake cancellation confirmations to take vulnerable students' money.
