Die Verträge sind unter aller …. Und überteuert dazu kommt, das gefühlt nie Solarium geht ständig Geräte kaputt. Wenn man umzieht ganzen Tag arbeitet und dann noch 40 Minuten zum Fitness fahren muss kommt keine Rücksicht darauf und man wird nicht aus dem Vertrag gelassen. Lasst dringend die Hände von diesen Verträgen das ist ein absolut ehrenloser Vertrag und versteckte Kosten kommen auch noch dazu. Die Verträge gehören verboten.

Für Fitness First in der MyZeil.
Das Personal ist meist sehr unfreundlich auch wenn man krank ist. Sauberkeit und Hygiene lassen zu wünschen übrig. Fahrstuhl ist meist defekt dies mehrere Wochen am Stück. Saunen sind dreckig und defekt. Ich würde mir wünschen das First nicht nur ein Wort wäre sondern auch der Tatsache entspreche denn der Preis ist da fast am höchsten.

A word of warning for anyone thinking about signing up. Please please please do not listen to what you are told by the front desk about how easy it will be to get out of your contract. Once you sign on the dotted line that is you committed! Make a note of any verbal assurances you are made. I was told to sign up, told to relax about the 12 month commitment as...all I would need to do is tell them I was moving house or office (I was told not to worry about whether I actually was).

I only needed the gym for 3 months (recovering from an ankle injury) - tried to cancel - all front of desk staff denied ever saying anything about getting out of my agreement. The result...9 months of membership I don't need (over £1,000).

I am sure there will be a fluffy response to this review from FF but the mass of negative reviews speak for themselves. 350 people....average of 1.9.

I made 2 contracts with Fitness First, one for me, one for my wife 3 years ago.
My wife couldn't use because she got pregnant twice in those 3 years. When i went to cancel her contract they said is too late, we have to cancel it 3 months before the expiring date, so i paid 1 more year, again, my wife never set foot in their gym, but they didn't care. Normaly i was expecting someone from commercial department to do something but no...
Today i receive a letter from Incasso that since i've failed to pay from october 2024(2 months) i have to pay in advance till december 2025.
I didn't pay because i changed my bank and they noticed Fitness First about that change, but now apparently i should notify them myself. So after 3 years, 2 contracts(1 that i never used), for a late payment of 2 months i have to pay in advance for a year...is there anyone who can guide me here?

Vorsicht, Verträge mit versteckten Kosten. Verträge, die aus einem Haufen Unterverträgen bestehen, zum Einen unnütz und zum anderen ohne Ausweg. Zu den 2 wöchigen Preisen kommen nicht günstige Trainerkosten, die halbjährlich abgebucht werden, auch wenn man bereits gekündigt hat und nur noch 1 Monat nach Zahlung dieser Trainergebühr im Vertrag ist. Ich ärgere mich, dass ich auf so einen lächerlichen und frechen Vertrag reingefallen bin. Über die geringe Beratungsqualität, die mangelnde Hygiene, die Funktionalität der veralteten und abgenutzten Geräte, den Mangel an Frischluft bei sommerlichen 40Grad und die vollkommen überbuchten Kursräume rede ich gar nicht.

I had a surgery around 15 days after I enrolled myself. So asked to cancel my membership or freeze. However police from the gym asked for my minimum period for freeze a membership is 30 days in advance however 30 days before I was not enrolled.

I sent many emails explaining the situation however the gym only thinks about money we are just a number and there is no one to talk to about this problem, and there is no telephone number from customer service. Even the gym doesn’t have access to the telephone number. Everything needs to be sent by email. And all the time someone new will replay the email and you can’t have a solution.

Auch ich kann bekräftigen, dass man bei Verträgen bei Fitness First extrem aufpassen muss bzw. man wirklich nur mit einer zusätzlichen Zahlung von 99€ + 4 Wochenbeiträgen aus dem Vertrag vorzeitig herauskommt.
Solche Verträge sind normalerweise gar nicht mehr zulässig.
Also seid euch sicher, wenn ihr hier einen Vertrag abschließen wollt.

Ich ziehe aus dem Land um, und es gibt keine Regelung für Leute, die aus dem Land umziehen. Die Tatsache, dass es keine Richtlinien für Leute gibt, die ins Ausland umziehen müssen, und dass ich, um meinen Vertrag zu kündigen, entweder 99 Euro zahlen muss oder so lange zahlen muss, bis er monatlich abläuft, finde ich beleidigend und beschämend.
Ich werde dafür sorgen, dass ich meine Meinung über Fitness First Management kundtue und dass sich niemand in meinem Umfeld anmeldet.

In October 2023, I enrolled my 15-year-old daughter in a month-to-month rollover membership at Fitness First Randwick. In July 2024, she decided to upgrade her membership to include Pilates, and Fitness First unilaterally enrolled her in a minimum six-month extension. However, she was unaware that her contract had been changed to an 18-month premium membership.

When we raised this issue with management, their response was dismissive, claiming the terms were outlined in the contract and signed by a guardian, as though this absolved them of responsibility.

It is deeply concerning and highly unethical to enrol a minor in an extended contract without providing clear, transparent explanations of the implications. Poor business practices like these come at the cost of losing loyal customers for the sake of a few months’ subscription fees.

Very disappointing, Fitness First....

Unverschämte Mitarbeiter, die glauben Geschäftsführer zu sein und sich erlauben die Mitglieder anzuschreien, weil die auf ihr Recht bestehen.

Unseriös!! Durch Umzug in andere Stadt bekommt man keine Sonderkündigung trotz erhaltenes Angebot per Mail und alle Unterlagen die ich hin geschickt habe. Ich bekomme trotzdem Mahnungen obwohl ich den Beitrag meiner Mitgliedschaft geleistet habe und wenn ich eine Mail schreiben will, kann diese nicht zugestellt werden weil das Postfach von denen voll ist. Man dort kaum jemanden erreichen. Wahrscheinlich mit Absicht!!

They dont even worth one star, I've seen the orevious comments and they are exactly same cases with me. I already cancelled membership in Jan 26 and they told me my membership ends in July 2024 and they are still charging me. And when I called them they just told me my cancellation was not effective enough cause I also applied for the pause in the middle which doesnt make sense, and no emails to let me know my cancellation is cancelled lol, and even I checked the date when I applied for the pause was on Jan 23 obviously before my cancellation request. And they took four weeks to respond and thats why they claim i applied for pause after cancellation request. The whole thing is just ridiculous amd they also take forever to respond to any issues.

Nach Übernahme zu Fitnessfirst leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Im Solarium wird einem plötzlich der Zutritt verweigert im Studio kann sich keiner erklären warum auf Nachfrage heißt es aus gesundheitlichen Gründen ist die Flat auf 50 mal pro Jahr (Täglich: Maximal 1 Nutzung pro Tag
Wöchentlich: Maximal 3 Nutzungen
Monatlich: Maximal 10 Nutzungen
Jährlich: Maximal 50 Nutzungen) begrenzt. Diese Info bekommt man natürlich nicht. Ein Schelm wer Böses wie Sparmaßnahmen vermutet weil es diese Regelung in den letzten 8 Jahren nicht gab. Kündigung geht natürlich auch nicht aus diesem Grund weil laut deren Aussage die Regelung schon immer existiert. Fühl mich verarscht.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Fitness First. I was charged in advance for three trainee sessions, but no one got back to me even after multiple follow-ups and calls. The lack of response has been frustrating and unprofessional, and it feels like the club is more focused on collecting fees than providing honest service to its members. I won’t be joining again, and I strongly suggest that others check for any hidden terms and conditions before paying—they set a trap with advance fees and then don’t follow through. Very dissatisfied with how this was handled.

Absolutely shocking experience with Fitness First Maroubra! I cancelled my membership back in August, yet I’m still being charged a weekly fee. Despite countless calls and emails, I’ve gotten nothing but empty promises that my money will be reimbursed. Talking to their customer service is like talking to a wall—no one seems to care or take responsibility. It’s beyond frustrating, and I feel completely ignored. I expected better from such a big gym chain. Avoid this place if you value your time and money!

Fitness first customer service does not exist 3 attempts to cancel my membership. They continued to take money out of my account every week . I am still waiting for reimbursement .. That's if I am going to get it. I'm still waiting . I maybe dead by the time I get one. Really disappointing. I will never recommend this gym. Learn some customer services instead of robbing people

Ich besuche seit 1 monat das Fitnessstudio und ich kann nur Positives berichten! Die Ausstattung ist modern und die Geräte sind in einwandfreiem Zustand. Besonders gefühlt habe ich mich im Kraftbereich, wo eine große Auswahl an Geräten zur Verfügung steht.

Ich wollte bei FF kündigen und tat dies auch fristgerecht. Angeblich hat man diese nie erhalten. Ich erkundigte mich dann per Email nach der Kündigungsbestätigung. Diese wurde nicht mal richtig gelesen und stattdessen die Email als Kündigungsdatum vermerkt. Somit läuft der Vertrag 1,5 Jahre länger. Nach einer erneuten Kontaktaufnahme sollte ich die korrekte Kündigung erneut per Mail schicken. Auch diese wurde angeblich nicht erhalten. Als ich am Telefon darum bat, einen Vorgesetzten zu sprechen, wurde aufgelegt.
