Fitness First is the worst gym experience I have ever had. I have moved house out of the neighbourhood, with no fitness first close to me or evening within an hour journey. I now need to continue paying £54 a month membership or pay the remainder of the year. Please read all terms and conditions as they allow no flexibility , which is really awful within this current economy.

Fitness’s first customer service team could only respond to advise that the only option is to pay £300 or the remainder of the cost each month.

Vorsicht !! Knallharte Abzocke Verträge,Monatsverträge werden bei Kündigung zu Jahresverträgen! Bei Problemen ist die Hotline oder die schlecht besetzte Buchhaltung absichtlich nicht oder nur ganz bescheiden hilfreich! Besser meiden!!Es besteht keinerlei Interesse an einer Lösung,ganz im Gegenteil,seid vorsichtig!

I have always had bad experiences with gyms trying to throw a membership down your throat and being unfriendly when you enter that is till I joined up at Fitness First Menai.

Tiane signed myself and my wife to a membership and gave us a lovely tour in a way that made us feel as though we were welcome, and she made us feel that the gym was going to be our new family. Every weekend when we come in, she greets myself, my wife and other members with her warm smile and cheerful morning greeting. Fitness First is lucky to have such a star employee.

Would give this a zero if I could. Joined the castle hill store. They advised i would not be charged anything on my 7 day trial period and could cancel at any time. They charged me over $100 on day 3. I advised on day 6 i wanted to not go ahead with the membership as i didnt like the way it was dealt with as there was zero transparency. They advised i could not cancel on day 6 as it was a sunday so i would have to pay for a months membership. Nothing i could do apparently so agreed with the manager i would pay 2 weeks. The 3rd week came and i got charged AGAIN. I have had enough of them. impossible to cancel membership or get refunds. Dont waste your time guys. WISH i had read the reviews before joining as this is a clear theme with them

Ich habe vom 24.06.2024 bis 28.07.2024 wegen der Klausurphase Ruhezeit gemeldet und dies in der App bestätigt. Normalerweise dürfte mein Konto während der Ruhezeit nicht belastet werden. Aber das Fitnessstudio hat mein Konto weiterhin belastet. Das ist einfach unverschämt.

Mit maßgeschneiderten Trainingsplänen und motivierender Unterstützung hat er mir geholfen. Seine Professionalität und Hingabe verdienen definitiv fünf Sterne!

Die Einweisung war gut, das Personal sehr freundlich.
Mehr kann ich noch nicht sagen, da muss ich erst noch ein paar Erfahrungen sammeln z. B. Kurse

Bin seit vielen Jahren Mitglied bei Fitness First in Berlin Pankow.
Leider hat sich die Gesamt Situation im Studio in letzter Zeit sehr verschlechtert!
Besonders ärgerlich ist, dass seit mehreren Monaten die Dampfsauna defekt ist, erst angeblich reparaturbedürftig, Teil ist nicht zu bekommen, um wieder instand zusetzen, nun die Ausrede, die gesamte Dampfsauna wird total ausgetauscht. Es ist verständlich, dass ihr Energie sparen müsst - aber bitte nicht auf Kosten der Beitragszahler. Der Unmut unter vielen Damen ist groß!!!
Positiv möchte ich hervorheben, das das Personal stets freundlich ist.

Keinerlei Support bei Fragen bzgl Zahlung etc.
Man bekommt keine Hilfe oder kommt nicht voran.
Keine Fachkräfte und keine gute Beratung.
Einem wird nicht weitergeholfen

I used fitness first central in Melbourne for a month. The team is highly unprofessional. I needed the membership for a month (I was clear about it) and they assured me that the payments would have stopped after the minimum term. Now i found out that they need 1 month notice. So I have to pay for an extra month without using the gym. And the membership has not been cancelled yet.

Also, the equipment is old and crowded. The equipment was also often out of order. Every training was always a struggle in finding the machines free. Given the substantial cost of the membership, they could invest more in the gym.

On July 6, 2022, I broke both of my wrists and subsequently requested to have my Fitness First membership put on hold. This request was made in writing, and I provided medical certificates from my doctor each month to substantiate my inability to utilise the gym facilities. Despite my compliance with the requirements and the submission of necessary documentation, Fitness First has continued to debit my account $35.97 fortnightly, totalling $1,330.89 up to the present date.

Customer service is non existent as is empathy

Es ist eine einzige Vertragsfalle.

Die Vertragslaufzeiten bei Fitness First sind scheinbar zwingend bindend über ein Jahr.

Die Ausrüstung ist unfassbar schlecht, die Räume unhygienisch und das Personal will nur verkaufen und kann bei keinem einzigen Gerät unterstützen.

Could you please bring back Tuesday morning yoga class at flinders fitness first at 6:15? I don’t understand why it’s canceled. There are many people in that class and all of sudden it’s canceled!😡

habe bei Groupon Gutschein für Fitness First Mitgliedschaft erworben. Diesen konnte ich vor Ort nicht einlösen, weil die Dame im Fitness Center davon nichts wusste. Der Gutschein ist dadurch leider abgelaufen. Fitness First sind angeblich die Hände gebunden und vertröstet mich an Groupon. Groupon fühlt sich allerdings auch nicht zuständig und hat lediglich in Groupon- Guthaben zurückerstattet. Ich habe aufgrund der Unfähigkeit und des ungeschulten Personals der Fitness First Gruppe weder eine Mitgliedschaft, noch mein Geld auf meinem Konto zurück. Herzlichen Dank nochmal dafür!
Sie haben ja einen Gutschein über Groupon verkauft, das Geld also doch bekommen oder nicht? Wieso können Sie mir dann nicht so eine Mitgliedschaft ausstellen?

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and disappointment with the treatment I received at your fitness center, Fitness First, located at Dalma Mall, Abu Dhabi, on 26/04/2024.
As a long-standing member of Fitness First for several years, I never imagined I would be subjected to such negligence and disrespect.

On 26/04/2024, while preparing to leave the center, I unfortunately experienced a severe fall from the stairs within your facility, resulting in a head injury that required immediate medical attention. I was subsequently rushed to the hospital, where I received approximately 25 stitches to treat the injury. This incident not only caused me physical harm but also left me emotionally shaken and deeply concerned about the safety standards at your establishment.

Instead of showing genuine concern for my well-being and taking responsibility for the incident, I was appalled by the insensitive and callous behavior exhibited by your staff, including the manager . Rather than offering support or assistance, I received multiple phone calls from your management team, informing me of a deduction on my subscription and stating that I would not be allowed to return to the facility unless accompanied by a next of kin at all times. This treatment was not only disrespectful but also completely unacceptable given the circumstances of my injury.

In the aftermath of the incident, I sought medical advice from other healthcare professionals to understand the underlying cause of my fall. Contrary to the insinuations made by your staff, these medical professionals confirmed that I do not suffer from any health condition that would predispose me to sudden falls. However, they recommended reviewing the surveillance camera footage from your fitness center to determine the exact circumstances leading to my fall and to rule out any potential medical causes.

It is deeply troubling that despite being a loyal member of Fitness First for several years, I have been subjected to such neglect and mistreatment. As a fitness center that prides itself on promoting health and well-being, I expected better from your establishment. It is evident that there are significant gaps in your safety protocols and customer care standards that need to be addressed immediately.

Therefore, I urge you to take prompt and decisive action to rectify these issues and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. This includes conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding my fall, implementing enhanced safety measures within your facility, and providing appropriate training to your staff on how to handle similar situations with compassion and professionalism.

Furthermore, I demand a formal apology from Fitness First for the manner in which I was treated following the incident, as well as a full refund of any fees deducted from my subscription during my absence from the facility.

Please be advised that I am considering legal action if these concerns are not addressed satisfactorily and in a timely manner. I trust that you will take this matter seriously and prioritize the well-being and safety of your members going forward.

Is Fitness First going broke ? Or do they not care ?The spin room at fitness first Sylvania is disgraceful and getting worse they refuse to fix it management dont care bikes are all broken…roof leaks

If I could leave zero stars I would. This company is a disgrace. Their gyms are full of old broken equipment that takes months to repair. When it is repaired it breaks again in a matter of weeks. Their gyms are FILTHY and equipment is never cleaned. Their customer service is APPALLING! They will sign you up very quickly but getting assistance after that is impossible. Be VERY careful signing a contract here as they make it near impossible to leave and will keep charging you long after you leave. If you cancel your direct debit they will send debt collectors after you. PLEASE read all of the reviews - yes we are disgruntled ex customers but there is a reason why there are so many and their rating is so low and they are shutting down in other states. They are on their way out. Do yourself a favour and join a smaller gym with better reviews - there are plenty out there. Please learn from our mistake.

Immer wieder werden Beitraege abgebucht, trotz vollständiger Vorauszahlung. Kundenservice ist nicht zu erreichen. Kontakt über Manager funktioniert nicht.Da hilft nur Klage.
Ich kann vor diesem Unternehmen nur warnen. Bitte nehmt diese Warnung ernst. Ich halte das für kriminell!
