Most disgraceful airport ever. Over one hour and still no bags

I had a very disappointing experience with Europcar at Fiumicino Airport. I was refused a car despite holding a valid Albanian driving licence and even showing Europcar’s own website, which states that an International Driving Licence is not mandatory.

What is particularly troubling is that at the same desk, with the same staff member, I rented a vehicle last year without any issue. This shows a clear inconsistency in how rules are applied. The staff’s behavior on this occasion was inappropriate and felt discriminatory.

Afterward, Europcar’s online customer service protected the staff instead of addressing the documented facts. As a result, my business trip was interrupted, causing serious problems. I have lost trust in the company and cannot recommend Europcar.

Seems all the staff is more busy talking to colleaguse and friends than doing their job. 1,5 hours for bagdrop (and no, it is not airlines employees).
Super over crowded airport with an aircon that run in the best Italian fashion - if its not broken, it is justnot working.

Got ripped off and they refused to give me my money back. I Lost over $200... Tried to rent a car, paid online and included option for full insurance, paid in full. When I arrived in my travels, took shuttle from airport to car rental and was informed that there was no insurance or rental paid, that fiumicinoairport.com is just an unauthorized reseller middleman, would have to pay over $300 for rental and also over $300 for insurance! What a scam!!
