I was told that my car needed to be off the road for 3 weeks due to key was misplaced and a had to arrange a suitable courtesy car. Then after a day I was told I didn't need this now as I still had one set of keys and car was driveable. Which I had said, its strange the car has to be off road for a key to be synced. This was the start of Dec I was told up to 3 weeks but due to cmas maybe 4 werks and they would call me with updates. I then had to call as I had heard nothing from the services and when I did the girl said of we've been asked for you to send the V5 in? This was after 4 weeks and they hadn't attempted to call me with any updates key still was not ordered. I had told her that we don't have this as this is a Mobility car and we never have this as legally we don't own car. Then sent what I was given with is a copy. After another week or so I had to call again. Still no joy and was asked to supply this again. I then argued about this to get them to listen to me. Eventually they accepted the copy. They said another 2 weeks for the key to be ordered, They said we will let you know what is happening now. After yet another week still no update and called again to be told that my car is booked into the bodyshop on the 3rd Feb. I had to call for this date and had to arrange my work around this. Was not given an option. It was that date and that's all. The 3 is reflected of the poor customer service from the service department and not reflected on the Technicians or bodyshops. It's purely the bad non customer service that was given.

Very happy with my experience.

A van had smashed the boot of my car and in just 2 weeks I got my car back fixed, looking like the crash never even happened.

Can’t thank Fix Auto enough for their supportive and speedy response to a situation I found myself in on the 30th December. They were able to take in my car for repair and organise a courtesy car to be delivered to my home quickly to allow me to continue working. They kept me informed about the progress of my repair and the collection of my car was a very quick and straightforward process. Thank you!

The whole repair experience was so quick and excellent

So easy to deal with from dropping the car off to picking it up. The repair was completed to a high standard. I have nothing whatsoever to complain about and it even came back washed and hoovered 😁

They gave the car back to me faulty. The body work was fixed but the electrics weren’t wired correctly and the car is now not locking and unlocking correctly (they had the vehicle for over a month). When I called back to advise that there was a problem and that I was going to be away for two weeks so the car would potentially be left unlocked for that time due to them giving it back to me faulty, they initially tried to arrange a time today to pick it up (I go on holiday tomorrow morning) but I said I’d be at work until 5 so it would have to be after then. The woman on the phone said that they couldn’t come after 5 so I asked the question: what should I do about the fact that the car is going to be left unlocked for 2 weeks whilst I’m away if they can’t pick it up? The woman was incredibly rude and kept talking over me, didn’t answer or address any of my questions at all, just kept repeating the same thing as if reading off a script ‘we can collect between 8:30 and 5 today but it won’t be 5 because the drivers finish at 5’. I said okay that’s fine but my question is: ‘what happens to the vehicle for two weeks when left unlocked whilst I’m away because it’s been given back to me faulty?’ They were given ample time to resolve this issue as like I say, the car has been with them for over a month. They were also advised in advance two weeks ago that I was going away on the 15th January so everything would need to be resolved by then.
She asked if I could drop it off and I said I can but I would need a courtesy car to get home (as I’m disabled and this is a Motability car - which is possibly the worst part, this garage is contracted by motability to fix mobile vehicles and treats people like dirt). They couldn’t give me the courtesy car back and just repeated again that someone would be here before 5, but I’m not going to be home. So rude I am absolutely appalled. I sincerely hope that they are now liable for the security issue of my car being left outside for two weeks not locking correctly. Will be contacting my insurance company.

I was very pleased with the service especially the replacement car which was new an upmarket automatic Toyota to replace my automatic Aygo. It seemed a long time to be repaired but my car was very clean and I am very happy with the repair. Only criticism was the driver who returned my car put the handbrake on so hard I was unable to move it at all. I had to ask a neighbour to help and even he had difficulty loosening it.

The staff were helpful and friendly.
Replacement vehicle functional but nothing special.
Door to door vehicle exchange good.
Crash repair slow (5 weeks). Albeit crossing Christmas week.
Repair good when it arrived.
A secure excess payment made easy.

The repair of the car was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Can’t fault Auto Technics in any way. smooth collection process for my car, kept informed of progress of repair which was completed 1 week earlier than forecast and then car returned to me. Bodywork repair only. Looks very good!! Damage to car was relatively minor but Auto did very well with what needed to be done. God forbid I would need to use them again? Would I? Absolutely!!
