What a joke paid 250 shipped charger 324.99 on top
What a joke paid $240usd total for an item, seller shipped with flexport got tracking details, 2 days later on hold, insurance payment of $159.99usd required 100% refundable on delivery, then on arrival at my country a further $165usd to be paid 97.7% for airport authorisation stamps refundable at delivery.... $325.99usd over my shipped and paid in full item and as it's under my countrys duty limit no duty or import tax applies. Customs contacted no such stamps and they advised I'm being scammed as my parcel would not see any duty/tax unless a it meets a restricted import policy
TOO MANY LOST UNITS AND CANCELED ORDERS

Furthermore, Flexport maintains a powerful online portal that vastly out performs competitor's online tools. Capabilities that have elevated our business include analytics to understand a wide range of key performance metrics utilized in supply planning, easy documentation and tracking of all of our shipments, and data driven integrations.

Nice idea but flawed.
Nice idea - in reality its flawed. Their portal is never accurate and they will sell you routes that aren't accurate. Stick with alternatives that deliver without all the glitter.
Flexport Capital - Time Wasters
To get to the point: they'll probably waste your time. We are one of the fastest growing private companies in the country, and we're profitable. When we were approached by this company everything seemed fine at first and we were aligned. They asked us what seemed like a million questions. We had prepared lots of bank statements, financial reports, etc. To be succinct, we waited a long while, then had gotten rejected for no good reason at all.
From our metrics and the stated metrics they were looking for, we were easily qualified.
Capital comes part and parcel with high growth unless you've taken venture funding (which we didn't). To prove we are a healthy business, check back if we're still around in 5 years.
This company screwed up, and wasted our time while doing so. More than any other lender we reached out to at that time, which all gave us offers much quicker.
Flexport is the reliable to use!
Unfortunately, our inventory was missing. But they've refunded as them policy even the large amount.
Even if missing inventory at warehouse then can't fulfill our order, product costs would cover by them.
They will hold your inventory and wallet hostage.
In March of 2024 I placed a removal order for the whole of my inventory being held and stored by Flexport. The merchandise was to be shipped back to me. On June 24th i contacted them to to discuss the fact that the majority of my merchandise had never left their facility, and they were still billing me storage fees. I clearly told them that this had been months and I wanted to speak to someone which they adamantly refused to allow me to speak to a human. They did acknowledge the issue, and create a ticket. They then emailed me stating they had reached out to the facilities that were still holding my inventory and get back to me once they had answers. It is now 08/12/2024 and they have sent 1 small package but are still holding the bulk of my inventory, and have never followed through or made any other attempt to contact me regarding my inventory. On top of that they continue to bill me storage fees for product that should have been returned to me 5 months ago.
All their people seem to be leaving
I have sent them two LCL shipments so far and for two months now have been trying to figure out the inventory issues that are all over the place. 7 of our 11 SKUs are showing up incorrectly, 10% of the total inventory is shown as "missing" and the problems have been going on for 2 months. Customer service is extremely slow to respond and they seem to be leaving in droves. With this current problem we have had three different people working on it because each of the previous people have left the company and are waiting for person number 4 to be assigned to the case...
They don't take responsibility.
There is still no progress regarding my 50 shampoos, which were delivered to the Flexport warehouse on April 5. They can't find the products, they don't give me my money. They don't do anything. They don't take responsibility. I've seen very bad shipping companies, but I've never seen one this bad. Worst shipping agency oscar goes to Flexport.

For being a shipping company they are the worst at shipping! For over 1 year, we'v been having issues with their facilities more often than not, shipping only 1 bag of our product instead of 2. We've labeled the boxes - DO NOT BREAK APART - and the pickers break apart the boxes anyway. Very little accountability or customer support.

Awful service
Signed up but when I tried to send inventory, received a message telling me that my account is not active yet and a partner was working on it. Weeks later and I still can't send any inventory and my onboarding agent does not respond either. Apalling.
Huge service decline.
We have been a customer of Flexport for over 6 years. The decline in service levels over the last 12 months has been of cliff edge proportions.
Shipments are continually late, staff have a dont care attitude, and the tracking to which the company holds its had on, 'should not be relied upon as being accurate' according to our account manager.
Prices have increased in line with the service level decrease, FYI this is the wrong direction.
Expect Huge, Never-Ending Rate Increases
Deliverr (now Flexport) was great until they were bought by Shopify, and then it got even worse when it was taken over by Flexport.
Ever since the big guys took over, we've seen huge, never-ending increases in fulfillment fees and long-term storage.
So if you're planning to sign up with them, expect a 15-20% rate increase on a yearly basis. Don't assume their rates will stay the same for anything longer than 1 year (probably even less), and don't assume the increases will be light. You'll surely feel them.
