Worst company ever
Worst company ever. The only reason I even had inventory with them was because my Shopify inventory went to them.
Don't trust them with your inventory period. Your items will go missing and they will do nothing. At least a few thousand units of inventory have gone missing and I have not been compensated. And they weren't proactive to even notice.
And on the flipside, they implemented a $500 minimum fee every month, which I just got emailed will become $5000 minimum. It is a huge joke and robbery. Companies that do this are pretty much starving. My bet they will go out of business in a couple of years. Stay FAR AWAY from them. I may take legal action against them to be honest.
Terrible Experience
We've been using Shopify Fulfillment (US), before they became part of Flexport. All good, nothing to complain about.
After our stock migrated to Flexport issues began.
Missing stock, missing inbounds, incorrect inbounds, incorrect shipments. Products were also incorrectly weighed and measured, which resulted in additional costs 'due to product size and weight'.
Even off-boarding is terrible. I'm almost two months in the process of getting my stock out of their warehouses. While there (again) are missing products Flexport is taking no accountability.
I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Used to be great, now just greedy and frustrating
We havenât had any inventory with them since March 2024. In June 2025, they suddenly implemented a $500 minimum monthly fee. Despite their system showing no available inventory, they now claim we still have stock at their facility and are trying to charge us for its removal plus the $500 minimum. We havenât used their services in over a year.
I used to have a solid relationship with this company and even helped them set up their entire kitting process while they were going through a buyout. But ever since they were taken over from being Deliverr, everything changed.
The fees keep going up for no clear reason, and the support is basically useless now. You get templated responses, no real answers, and no accountability. Theyâve become cold, corporate, and all about squeezing more money out of their customers.
Itâs sad to see how they treat people, not just partners, but even their own employees that I was dealing with.

Had to have 2 separate meetings to discuss the initial brief. Contact was late to the meeting - had to email to remind them. Spent an hour going over the brief. Contact confirmed I would have the estimated costs back that day.

During the tariff mayhem of 2025, both Flexport's freight team and their capital team have reached out to us to see how they can help.
While there are always hiccups in supply chains, Flexport's team has always helped us remedy any issues. We've been with other freight forwarders, and this hasn't always been the case.
Flexport's dashboard is a world difference than managing freight through hundreds of email threads and phone calls. All of our notes, documents, and information are always available and organized in their system.

The perfect match for a shopify store
The portal with easy connections to both TikTok, Shopify and Amazon helps our daily operation to keep headcounts down on our side. They are very flexible into peak and peak planning was superb.

They constantly lose product and have horrible customer service
They constantly lose product. They have a policy which allows for them to lose up to 1.5 percent each year in their warehouse. Weâve had multiple shipping issues with much larger losses when we onboard new items. The staff constantly changes, and they arenât accountable. Theyâve also changed their policies and raised their prices. What you sign up for may not be what you get.
We had a âdedicated team memberâ who promised the moon and was fired, I would guess because non of his promises were true, and he was paid on intake commission.
We recently had an issue with lost orders as we were removing product to stock in stores. My assistant was given Google meet links where no one showed up, she was told people would respond, and they didnât, and when she pointed it out and said she didnât appreciate being lied to, she was scolded for being uncivil.
They are a joke. Whoever their corporate overlord is clearly has been stripping them for either bankruptcy or a sale.

Solid Customer Service
I'll start by saying the issues that other reviewers seem to have with Flexport are definitely not my experience. Lots of complaints about customer service and similar problems. Initial setup with the company was good; some back and forth as expected to get everything going. Integration with Shopify and Amazon went well and continue to function properly (though I check daily to be sure orders are pulled in properly). Fulfillment costs are reasonable, and customer support has been very quick to respond and handle any issues I've thrown at them.
The only complaints I can really throw out there are that Amazon orders were not being fulfilled within the shipping window during Black Friday/Cyber Monday (due to unexpected volume of orders), and also the fact that we really don't get any control over which shipping methods are used. Flexport uses a variety of shipping companies, including some gig worker companies (think Uber and Veho; they used to use DoorDash but thankfully quit using them), and uses an algorithm to determine which method to use to get the order to the customer within the chosen shipping speed tier. We can actually request that a particular order not use certain shipping methods (for example if UPS didn't doesn't deliver to a customer's home address, we can request they not be used), but we have to open a ticket for that. They also, as of time of this review, do not offer express shipping for international orders, but I'm told they're working on it.
At the end of the day, we're quite happy with Flexport over our previous 3PL. Prices are better and let's be honest everyone - some issues in 3PL fulfillment will be present regardless of who you are using!
