Outstanding Experience

I had an absolutely amazing experience! From the first instalment to the last, and exceeded my expectations. The service was smooth, professional, and genuinely customer-focused. You can really tell they care about delivering quality and making sure clients place future orders using the platform. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an easy way to pay for your order in instalments.

Float is a card-linked instalment platform that lets you split any Visa or Mastercard credit card purchase into an interest-free monthly instalment plan. To clarify, the core benefit of Float is that it allows you to make big purchases without being charged the full amount upfront, which gives you time to manage your credit card repayments instead of dipping into your cash.

At the time of purchase, the full purchase amount gets reserved on your credit card, but only the first interest-free instalment will be charged. A reserve is a hold against the credit you have available to spend, it is not a charge and completely interest-free. This ensures that you do not overspend and helps you to meet your monthly instalment. As you pay each monthly instalment, the amount reserved will reduce to the remaining balance of the purchase until your purchase is fully paid.

We make sure to explain this process in detail in our "How it Works" pop-up, the instalment schedule at the time of purchase, and on our website. The goal is to ensure that you can manage your finances easily without taking on any new credit or facing additional charges.

I SO LOVE FLOAT!!!

I LOVE THE FACT THAT I CAN BUY (AND RECIEVE THE SAME TIME) NEW APPLIANCES AND PAY OVER A FEW MONTHS. IT IS REALLY INTEREST FREE! I ABSOLUTELY WOULD RECOMMEND FLOAT TO ANYONE NEEDING TO BUY ITEMS BUT DONT HAVE THE CAPITAL, ESPECIALLY IN THIS FINANCIAL ECONOMY. I ALSO LOVE THAT THEY HAVE A DASHBOARD TO DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING AND ITS REALLY HELPFUL THAT THEY SEND REMINDERS OF WHEN PAYMENTS WILL BE TAKEN OFF ETC. THANK YOU TO WHOEVER HAD THIS BRILLIANT IDEA!

Happy new customer...

I am still relatively a new member still trying to figure out how exactly this product works, the pros and cons. However, so far I don't have any complaints, I am a happy client and will definitely use it for much bigger purchases going forward because I started with small transactions just to get an understanding first.

Great product, just one inconvenience

I like the fact that no credit enquiry is required as that tends to affect your credit score. I do dislike the random auto renewal dates, especially because they sometimes take time to clear and if you had planned on using that money it becomes an inconvenience. Overall I’ve had a good experience with the product, it’s very easy and straightforward and I’ve even recommended it to 3 of my friends who have also made use of it.
