Quality flooring at a competitive price with knowledgeable staff
I went into the Floorstore a few weeks ago to look at Lvt. When I walked in the store I was greeted with a friendly smile and asked if I needed any help. I explained that I had brought samples of everything I was getting in the bathroom and was looking for Lvt to blend in with them. Colin quickly pointed out where the types of flooring was and where to look for click flooring. He then held my samples and walked around with me and we discussed what I wanted it to look like. He then gave me his thoughts on what would go well with my samples. After comparing different colours and styles and talking things through, I loved one of his suggestions. So today, I returned to buy the flooring and he remembered me. He looked after me throughout the whole process. Colin was friendly professional and smiling, he helped me work out how much I would need and he checked stock levels to ensure it was in stock. If you’re looking to buy quality flooring at a very competitive price and you want fantastic service from someone who knows all about flooring, then go to the Floorstore in Wakefield and see Colin. Highly recommended.

Very happy with the overall experience
Very happy with the overall experience. They were able to arrange my LVT installation quickly, despite a very tight time window due to building project constraints. When the original installer cancelled, they promptly found a suitable replacement, which was much appreciated. Their pricing is competitive as well. Highly recommended.

I was quoted far too much materials and…
I was quoted far too much materials and had 2 full boxes left over. I did query at the time and was reassured this was correct and that 10% extra was needed. It was far more left over.

my floor came apart so now i have gaps…
my floor came apart so now i have gaps in the flooring, after going back and fourth for a year they have finally said they will replace it but dont have the colour we have anymore haha… we cant get any sort of refund as they said if they was to refund us any money they would have to come take the flooring back… obviously now weve installed skirting boards and have all our furniture in the house, they did say they would try and reinstall our existing skirting boards but id imagine that would be a nightmare and it would just end up either costing us more money on new boards or having a scruffy finish… all in all the 1 star was generous id say

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you’ve been unhappy with your experience.
As previously explained, this issue relates to a manufacturer claim, and unfortunately the original Classen product is no longer available. We have offered a range of alternative replacement options from other brands, but understand these have not been to your preference.
In terms of a refund, this would require the flooring to be uplifted and returned, in line with standard procedure so the claim can be processed with the manufacturer. We appreciate this may not be ideal, but we’re unable to offer a refund while the product remains in place.
We understand this has been frustrating and have made every effort to provide a fair resolution within the options available to us.

Disappointing Service and Incorrect…
Disappointing Service and Incorrect Measurements
I recently purchased flooring from the Wakefield branch. While the quality of the product itself is very good, I am extremely disappointed with the overall service and experience.
The staff were unhelpful and lacked professional courtesy. Furthermore, the employee sent to take measurements provided incorrect figures, which resulted in a significant surplus of flooring material. This error has caused me a financial loss of approximately £300.
When I contacted the branch to resolve this issue, the staff were dismissive and refused to accept a return or offer any compensation for their mistake. It is regrettable that such a good product is undermined by poor customer service and a lack of accountability.

Will never use this company again
Will never use this company again! They advise you to purchase more flooring than required and won’t take it back.!
Mgr offers a discount on more flooring as a way of apologising, but didn’t advise how much that would be. Having spent over 3k for flooring. Also states that maybe he will be able to purchase the flooring Iv not used back but then backtracks. They didn’t tell me at the time of purchase it was non- refundable either.!! Complete lie!!Avoid at all costs!

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way and would like to clarify the situation.
The flooring purchased was a special-order product, and as discussed at the time, these items are non-returnable. You were also advised of this prior to purchase.
The quantity ordered was based on the measurements provided, and it was explained that mixing batches or using spare packs from previous orders cannot be guaranteed to match or fit correctly.
As a gesture of goodwill, a discount on a further order was offered. We also explored whether we could assist further, this was not something we could guarantee.
We always aim to be transparent and provide accurate guidance so customers can make informed decisions.
