Overall good experience but misleading on saving money flossy says 50percent but it’s a lot less. But better than nothing I guess.

On March 11, 2025, I underwent a full mouth restoration procedure at Flossy Dental, Harbor City, California, performed by Dr. Lin Thu. Upon waking from the procedure, I immediately vomited large amounts of black fluid in the bathroom. Shortly thereafter, I vomited approximately 20 chunks of what appeared to be liver-like material, which caused me severe distress and a near-suffocation event. The nurse on duty witnessed this occurrence.
When I looked in the mirror following the incident, I was extremely upset to see that the bottom bridge was both crooked and seated excessively high. I immediately expressed my dissatisfaction to the staff. Since then, I have requested multiple times that the bridge be properly adjusted and lowered, but these requests have not been accommodated. As a result, my temporary teeth constantly clash against my upper teeth, creating a loud and uncomfortable bite.
At the outset, I was informed that after four months I would receive my permanent teeth. However, despite being placed in seven sets of temporary teeth so far, I have still not received a proper, permanent restoration. Most recently, the owner of Flossy Dental informed me that I should seek another provider to complete the work — even though I have already paid $25,000 and my remaining balance is only $7,000.
I have obtained three separate estimates for corrective treatment, each ranging from $40,000 to $50,000, because other dental providers are unwilling to take on this complex and compromised case. I feel traumatized and remain in a state of distress over this situation. The temporary dental work has consistently been crooked, poorly executed, and unprofessionally managed, and I have been treated with hostility by staff when expressing my concerns.
Furthermore, I was shown a photograph of the final prosthetic the practice intends to place in my mouth, which does not match the standards or appearance promoted on their website.
Accordingly, I am requesting a full refund of all monies paid to date, along with compensation for pain and suffering, and reimbursement of any legal or court costs associated with pursuing this claim if necessary.
I am extremely distressed by the lack of professional care I have received, and I demand that this matter be resolved promptly. I am a senior citizen who has been victimized by the owner Dr Kim Lemire & Dr. Lin Shu and they blamed the patient.

Yes my daughter janean had an emergency I found flossy the night before and called . It was 24/7 service and they made appointment thank goodness because had that abscess popped my daughter could have been in serious trouble. I appreciate them having 24/7 service and getting my daughter and appointment the next morning and the dentist office were very good and reputable.

Flossy representatives, Ashley and Karina were very helpful and professional. Following up promptly on all correspondence. I love the dentist Flossy referred me to. Dr. Banno went beyond my expectations. She is both knowledgeable and compassionate about her work.

The website was easy to find just through a google search. The rep I spoke with at flossy was very helpful. The Dental facility referred was immaculate and had the latest technology. The best dental experience I ever had.

The discount if better than insurance.
Flossy was easy to contact and assist in scheduling my much needed tooth extraction. I don’t have dental insurance yet, glossy guided me through a discounted payment plan. The staff remained in contact with me through the whole process.
