purchased a fluidmaster cistern ball valve.
ABSOLUTE RUBBISH .. SEEMS LIKE LOWEST QUALITY Chinese import! arm hinging to close valve is such appallingly bad tolerance it works 50% time only.
so wobbly it does not stop water flow.
APPALLING RUBBISH QUALITY.

Do not buy Fluidmaster, they are not fit for purpose!

Fitted a Fluidmaster Bottom-Entry Brass Shank Fill Valve 1/2" to my cistern about 6 months ago and it was never right because it would take at least 5 to 6 minutes to fill.

Now I know my system works on low pressure but the tank in the loft is more than 2 meters, there was no flow restrictor fitted, no debris and the service valve fully open.

As I cannot return it now to Screwfix because it’s outside the time frame I decided to telephone Fluidmaster for support. I explained my problem and asked why this was happening and customer service told me it’s because this particular fill valve needs more than 0.2 bar of pressure to work?

Well it seems they do not know the correct specifications of their own product or have purposely told me some porky pies because according to research it actually only requires 0.1 bar!

I feel I was sold a product that was not fit for purpose and I am now out of pocket of around £16. I felt that customer service could have at least offered me a partial or full refund as a gesture of good will but I was completely wrong, not happy at all!

Great customer service. I bought a syphon from Amazon. A small plastic lock was missing. One quick call and next day delivery on the part - no quibble, just great customer service from UK. Recommended.

Brought parts from Wickes. One part failed tried to get it replaced under warranty though Wickes. No help said it wasnt down to them even though i brought it there. Called fluid master who couldnt have been more help full. FOC part arrived by courier next day. Buy direct !!

The Delchem Filling Valve although cheap and easy to fit, it does not cut off quickly and drips for a long time
Not very good design water wise - not recommended

This company makes the best toilet flushers I have ever seen in my life. And talk about service after sales, they are perfect. I had one that broke and I contacted them and they sent me a new one for free within 2 days. This would be the only product I would ever buy again.

I bought a syphon that turned out to be faulty. I called the "technical support" number, but this just goes to an automated message saying to email their helpline instead. I emailed and have had to reply in a month, despite following up. Very scummy company.

I have a problem with a fluidmaster product.

I have both emailed technical and left them phone messages and they have not got back to me in over a week.

Very poor service.

Think twice before buying fluidmaster product.
