I've enrolled in Brand Mastery course at Flux Academy, and have loved every minute of it. Courses are very relevant and I truly believe they have made me a better designer! Flux team is lovely, every feedback well thought out snd very quick to answer or give additional info on everything Flux related. 5 stars!

I wish I took the core design skills course earlier. I had been doing web design for almost 2 years and struggled with why it took me forever to try and make my designs look professional and consistent. Now I understand where I was going wrong and excited to use these skills in the real world. Thanks to all the team at Flux.

I’m a designer and have learned many tools and programs through recorded courses and books. However, the Webflow Masterclass 5.1 Pro, which I recently completed, turned out to be one of the most expensive courses I’ve paid for — but not the best one.

I initially hoped this course would help me truly master Webflow. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet my expectations.

//Typos, Mistakes, and Constant Corrections
From the very beginning, I found it quite distracting that the videos contained so many typos and small mistakes.
Throughout the lessons, there were frequent interruptions like:
“Oh, I made a mistake…” or “Oops, I forgot to…”
Ran often had to go back and forth to fix issues while recording. If this were a live class, that would be completely fine. But for a pre-recorded course, it becomes frustrating — especially since we can’t interact or ask questions directly.

What makes it worse is that, as learners, we are not only trying to follow what is being built, but to understand the thinking process behind it. The constant corrections make the workflow appear unstructured and hard to follow.

//Use of Templates
Another major issue is the heavy reliance on pre-made templates from the internet. In many lessons, templates are simply downloaded and adjusted slightly for the example projects.
But in a “Masterclass,” the goal should be to teach why and how something is built — not just where to find a template and make the adaptations.

Without understanding the reasoning, it’s hard to apply these lessons to new situations.

//Frustration and Confusion
Since the beginning, I kept telling myself, “It’s just a different teaching style — I can still learn from it.”
However, when I reached the lesson on “Building a CMS Slider,” it was once again the same pattern: find a template, make adaptations, and adjustments, done.

At that point, I was completely confused. Without using a ready-made source, I still didn’t know how to build it on my own.

Out of curiosity, I searched on YouTube, and surprisingly found a free tutorial that explained this exact feature in far greater detail. That’s where I finally gained real understanding and confidence.

//“Masterclass Pro” and the Bonus Courses:
For the Masterclass Pro, we paid extra for two additional “bonus build” series. Unfortunately, the comment function under these videos was disabled, which meant we couldn’t ask questions or get clarification.
Even more disappointing, these “bonus” series didn’t feel like advanced material at all. They seemed to be older versions (some are the same topic as prevous) , The overall structure felt messy and inconsistent.

//Final Thoughts
After completing all the modules, I still needed to look for other tutorials to truly understand Webflow.
To be fair, I did learn some useful things from this cours, but considering the price, it simply didn’t deliver the level of quality and depth I expected.

I learned a lot from the Flux Academy Webflow Masterclass 4.0 and 5.0. Since I purchased the Web Career Ignite package, which provides access to all the courses, I started with 4.0, and during that course, they released 5.0. Overall, these courses helped me to understand Webflow better.

However, I found that some details were missing for my learning style. As a perfectionist, I prefer when every detail is explained, particularly why a certain choice is better than another. Many times, I was simply advised to use a specific feature without understanding the rationale behind it.

Ran, the instructor, is very likable and easy to understand. I appreciate that I can revisit any video for a refresher on how something was built. It took me several months to complete the course because I couldn't dedicate time to it every day.

When I encountered difficulties with any video, there was a comment section below where I could post my questions. Someone typically responded within a day, either with a written answer or by creating a Loom video to help clarify my confusion. This support was incredibly helpful.

Despite some gaps in details, I successfully built two websites for clients before finishing the course. This experience speaks to what I was able to learn. If you’re considering investing in the Web Career Ignite, which provides access to all the courses, or a specific course, I recommend waiting for a sale or requesting a discount, as I wouldn’t suggest paying full price.

I am grateful for what the course offered and was able to complete the final certification project successfully, allowing me to receive my certificate. Now that I’ve finished with Webflow Masterclass, I’m looking forward to diving into some of the other courses.

This is the first time I joined a global online Masterclass (specifically Webflow Masterclass 5). I was both thrilled how engaging the learing experience was and still is with the Flux Academy team and how steep the learning curve was. At the same time, being a member of their student community is very helpful and enjoyable.

Not good, for how much i payed, Ran is very lazy with his teaching, so many times he says hes not going to bother with something, when in reality we are learning from him so he should bother with it after all the money we spent, he picks and chooses when hes going to go through the entire process or just focus on a part of it, which again is terrible and lazy.

So many times, he does things and makes mistakes and tries to figure it out on the video, which then makes us have to delete stuff we have done, and makes things confusing. Will never buy another course from Flux.

I have got better tutorials from Youtube or even Udemy where the courses are like £11.99 in comparison to Flux's £600+ cost. Outrageous

Flux Academy is the best place to learn web design and development. I’ve taken many courses before, but what makes Flux stand out is the incredible support from mentors. They truly go out of their way to help.

I’m in the Web Ignite program and have finished two courses so far. The content is super clear, no fluff, and the projects are actually fun and challenging. The mentors are always available, and you even get to meet Ran during weekly office hours and ask anything. Honestly, the support at Flux Academy is unmatched!

I purchased the Web Career Ignite Program and currently I have just completed one course, Figma For Web Designers 2.0. After completing it, I can say with confidence that my skills in figma have considerably improved. I am now taking the next course on Webflow by Ran Segall and I am very hopeful to get some great learning which I can apply in my web design career. The courses are practical, to the point and top class.

The Brand Mastery course exceeded my expectations! The mentors provided incredibly detailed feedback and were always available to answer my questions. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and gained valuable insights that have helped me grow as a brand designer.

So far, more than good!!

I have been reading reviews on this same page myself before I decided to buy Flux's whole "career ignite course bundle" and I can say that my experience is very positive, I just earned my first certificate. I has been a challenge at some points (which is standard for self-learning), but the support and mentoring in this academy is great! They respond very quickly and really guide you in a way that you come up with your own solutions...

I am looking forward for more hours in the flux academy!!

I had a great experience taking the Figma for Web Designers course. Maddy Beard was the instructor.

I took the Framer masterclass with Flux academy and wow, what a great course and a great value! I learned so much from Matt Jumper and feel like I became a Framer expert from this course! You also get mentoring which makes the course such a great value! I was able to ask Ran Segal some questions regarding my freelance career! Def take their courses, you will no regret it!

The feedback and mentoring are what really sets these courses apart from the rest. It means you get help from an expert, when you need it, and this helps you progress at a far greater rate. Yes, they aren't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I would recommend.

I am so gladly I find this academy because I think their courses are super nice! Here we have local course but I think quality is not very high and for this reason I found flux academy.
Their figma course is helped me a lot for improve my web designing skill and learned new things also ;D

You can easily learn from other leading learning platforms which cost much less. Or even learn straight from Webflow directly for free. BUT... If you want accelerated learning with a straight shot, no nonsense approach to learn the industry standards... THIS COURSE IS FOR YOU!

Within days from joining I was immediately on a direct Zoom call with Ran Segall himself. I wanted a no nonsense honest review of my site to see how my Webflow skills are since I've been away from freelance website design for a decade. He told me everything that I'm doing wrong in website design. I then immediately received a lot of further critiques from staff members and Flux Alumni.

Another aspect is there must be at least HUNDREDS of successful Alumni who now own successful companies and agencies who sometimes make job posts and comment on the forum.

If you really want to learn and master Brand Design, I think Flux has the best course! The mentors here are really awesome and they give you really good feedback. They stay with you through the entire process, and guide you to take your skills to the next level!
I should specially mention Fungi Dube, my mentor. She is so down to earth and really helped me understand and put to practice all that was taught in the course. She is really a true expert and has brought so much knowledge and value to this process. Highly recommend the Brand Design Mastery Course by Flux Academy!! Five stars🤩

This course was one of the best kick-offs into design area for me. Coming from a completely different industry, most of it was totally new! But the course structure and assignments gave me so many insights, so now I feel way more comfortable using colors, fonts, and structuring my simple (for now) designs, even if they’re not directly related to web design. I’d recommend it to anyone in the creative industry—whether you’re an experienced designer, a newbie, or even in a more management-focused role. It really helps grasping design concepts. On top of that, the mentoring and community are fantastic and super supportive.

If you are looking to learn brand design, there is no better way than Flux Academy's Brand Design Mastery Course. it teaches you everything from the basics to advanced branding technics. This course teaches real world skills that allow you to charge more and deliver better work to your clients. Combine this with the mentoring, this course is invaluable to level up your design skills and career. I highly recommend this course!

I came back to the course after almost 1,5 years, finished its much more elaborated and updated version aligned to fit the new interface of the course (this only must have taken a lot of effort!) and even thoughmy access to the support expired after 12 month, they renewed it, gave me a thorough feedback to the certification project and everything went so smooth! :) can't reccommend the course more as by saying, that it gave me a real-world skills and an insight into how processes around web design projects can be managed. Thanks Ran and the whole team of Flux academy, and now - let's jump into the next course :)
