Purchased the Gladiator 2.0 a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier. Absolute beast of a bike, crushes all types of terrains and hills. Phenomenal range as well. One test drive and you’ll be in love. The staff were also super friendly and helpful throughout the process.

Ordered the Babymaker in February. It is now August 14th and still don’t have a ship date. Customer service, when anyone finally replies (NEVER do they answer the phone) was snarky. I have asked for a refund.
My husband has a black Babymaker and the motor is already not working. They sent him a YouTube video that didn’t solve anything. Really frustrating experience. I have asked for a full refund for mine since I have missed the whole summer and no reply. I have recommended to our friend’ inquiries that they look at Rad Rover instead.

Ordered two Babymakers two years ago and received the first after 20 months and second not yet received.
Customer service does not reply consistent.
The first bike has failure but no outlook to having it fixed.
Worst buy ever and money wasted

I ordered a Blade 2.0 and it was delivered within 10 days. This is remarkable because I have another bike on order with a different company and am still waiting 2 months after placing the order.

The bike was packaged well, although one of the protective pieces for the front wheel was lodged in the bearing and took considerable effort to release. Assembly was easy; if you can tighten a bolt with a wrench, you can assemble this bike. I ordered the throttle which arrived separately and I had to install myself. The display does not quite fit over the stem so I could only secure it with one bolt. This is a common issue with these display brackets on other bikes too.

I was pleasantly surprised when I realized my bike has the UART version of the Bafang Ultra motor, this will allow me to customize the parameters to suite my riding style. The newer CANbus versions don't allow this.

The bike rides great, plenty of power even in the lower pedal assist settings. Climbs steep hills and really moves on the flats. A Rohloff hub and belt drive at this price point is not available from anywhere else.

I definitely recommend a suspension seatpost post like the Kinekt. The rear brakes on my bike are a little mushy, I'm hoping a quick bleed will resolve that but not something I expect to have to do on a new bike.

The bike only comes in one size so expect to do a little tweaking with different stems and/or handlebars to get your bike dialed in for you. I'm 5'11" and feel like a little longer stem will be more comfortable.

Overall I recommend this bike for anyone looking for a high performance mountain bike.

Die Lieferung erfolgte Anfang Oktober 21 nach 16 Monaten Wartezeit.
Das Bike ist wirklich fein und im Sommer noch viel besser als in der kalten Jahreszeit (bezügl. Reichweite und Motorleistung)
Was war schlecht:
Die Kommunikation über die Indiegogo-Website wurde wirklich phasenweise ausgesetzt. Fragen und kritische Anmerkung wurden wochenlang einfach ignoriert.
Und dann kam plötzlich für mindestens 40% der europäischen Kunden eine Mehrwertsteuerrechnung (VAT) von ca 234 Eur auf den Kaufpreis obendrauf, die die ersten 60% nicht hatten bezahlen müssen. (Ich gehörte zu diesen 40%).
Somit war und ist eine ausgeprägte Ungleichbehandlung der europäischen Kunden gegeben. (Manche bekamen noch höhere Rechnungen).
Und ob bis heute ALLE Kunden ihr Bike geliefert bekommen haben, wurde auch nicht mehr upgedated.
Somit für mich 3 Sterne.
1734 statt 1500 Eur für ein schönes Bike, aber eine wirklich teilweise nervenaufreibende Wartezeit von 16 Monaten.
Ich würde das Ganze vermutlich nicht noch einmal tun, bin aber mit dem Rad trotzdem happy. Keine Mängel in 8 Monaten Gebrauch.

After almost two years of waiting flx only reacted after a first public, negative review.
To get at least our second bike we agreed to downgrade from a “pro” to a cheaper standard bike in another configuration. And still they sent us an invoice to pay for the VAT of a more expensive pro-bike. As the customer service didn’t react we finally paid the higher VAT as we didn’t want to wait any longer.
I can’t advise everyone enough not to buy anything from this unprofessional company. It’s a scam…

Edit: after not reacting to all our mails during the last weeks it doesn’t take them 12 hours after our review to ask us through “trustpilot” for more information about our babymaker-order. Couldn’t be more pathetic and just proves flx’ “customer service” is a joke.

Ordered and paid 2 babymaker in 2020 and only got one delivered by April 2022. No reply to mails, no information what happened to our second bike. We totally understand that things got a bit complicated during the pandemic but flx is far from being a reliable or trustworthy company.

Bike took 7 months to arrive, but it was so worth it! Just hit 1000 miles in the babymaker pro and still going strong!

I simply love the design and ride of my Babymaker Pro. The bike is super light for an ebike, powerful motor for speed when you need it and has the battery that’s integrated in the frame for an ultra clean look. For a fixie, it has enough oomph to conquer some of the craziest and steepest hills in SW Portland. I would highly recommend this bike for anyone who’s looking for a fun but incredibly capable hill climber, and speedy commuter. Did I mention it looks amazing?

First off I would like to say that Flx is a top-notch company from the top down. I was a part of the initial crowdfunding for the original baby maker and as I’m sure people are aware crowdfunding can be a bit risky but communication from FLX as well as how they handled the campaign was always transparent and on point!

My bike was delivered earlier than the expected window, it came with easy to follow tutorials that made the building experience a breeze I was up and running before I knew it and the riding experience is absolutely incredible. The baby maker was smooth and handles extremely well.

I can’t say enough about how great my experience was! Five-star experience across-the-board thanks again FLX!

Update #2. Still no bike after ordering it in summer of 2021 although I received an email today asking me to join them on 2/22 for their launch of their babymaker II at there new factory. This company has built a new factory and is launching the 2nd model of this bike even though most it’s customer have not received their first gen babymaker. Hmm they also write about supply chain issues but have a new factory. Pretty interesting here. Everyone beware of purchasing with the company. Could be 2 years before you receive your bike.

I could go into detail about the multiple amount of emails that went back-and-forth with myself and this company but to make this clear I will just say do not buy a bike from this company. They have terrible customer service and honestly I don’t know if I was ever going to get a bike from them. I felt like I paid for a bike that never really existed. It took me almost a year to finally get my money back.

I ordered the Babymaker Pro in October 2020. I had a message that it was on its way and then another saying that it had been 'bumped'. I have offered to have any colour as long as it is a 19 inch Pro. I have had some polite emails saying to wait for the last 4 months but no specifics, timescales etc. This is a pity as I have been really looking forward to the bike. We are on the last few UK shipments now and wonder if I've just been forgotten.

I bought and paid for my FLX Babymaker Pro in July 2020 and for twelve months I heard absolutely nothing from the company. By late summer 2021 I started to enquire about the situation for delivery and eventually I received impersonal generalisations including an amazing response that they could not give me any further information, but they assured me that it was in progress, and I would receive it soon. Of course, that was a totally useless and unhelpful response. So, I followed this up with regular emails and I received occasional generic and uninformative replies.
Toward the end of 2021 and some eighteen months after purchase I was becoming enraged, and I was contacted by a senior member of FLX staff who apologised profusely for their failings, and he suggested that FLX swich form the Babymaker Pro to a new bike that was shortly to be manufactured in the USA. This staff member had clearly been instructed to clear up the backlog of significant issues as so many customers were still awaiting their goods after over eighteen months and longer. He indicated that there had been quality control, production issues along with transportation difficulties. I indicated that I was reluctant and after discussion he offered a nominal compensation to affect goodwill. At that point we failed to agree, and it was passed to another senior member of staff, and she stalled and offered some unhelpful suggestions and weak explanation s for the situation. By this time, any confidence that I might have had with FLX had dissipated and I just wanted the money back. In the end after weeks of communications and hurdles that FLX placed in the way to frustrate the refund I finally received the return of the purchase price two days ago.
As a result of my experience over the last nineteen months where FLX proved to have appalling communications, dreadful customer service, weak controls over production and quality control I concluded that I would never associate with this company again. As a result, I would advise any customers/potential customers to avoid FLX and do not place your money or rely on their product quality. Sadly, I have seen many FLX customers around the world experience a similar frustrating and stressful experience with FLX and I would urge others to rethink their purchase if they are already committed and those who are considering a purchase to think again!

I love the bike, the quality, the design and the overall concept. FLX takes seriously what they put out there. I sincerely believe the FLX team does their best to deliver what is possible considering the circumstances (a pandemic, a global logistics nightmare and people's Amazon prime no patience culture). Do your research, pick your bike and let the FLX team do their thing. When you get it, you won't regret it and you'll feel the price was right.

If you enjoy changing tires, this is the bike for you. My wife and I each got one last year. Both of her tires blew out on the second ride. I use mine day to commute to and from work and I have lost count of how many flats I've had.

On top of the shoddy tires and wheel construction, the battery lasts a third of the distance the manufacturer claims. If I'm lucky, I get fifteen miles out of a full charge, nowhere near the forty five advertised. Several months ago, the display on the bike stopped turning on approximately half the time. Then, it would read ten mph, regardless of how fast I was going. Two weeks ago, the speedometer stopped working period. Tech support has being utterly useless and claims either every problem is my fault or the bike is out of warranty. I can't even sell it because I'd feel guilty leaving someone else with this piece of trash bike.

I am a guy who is about 260+ pounds depending on the day. Last week, I ventured to participate in a 30 mile ride to benefit kids with autism in the Georgia market (8th annual Journey for Autism ride) – November 13th 2021. I was trepidatious as #1 it was a different route that I had never ridden before, #2 I hadn’t done anything beyond a 20 mile ride in the last couple of years and #3 didn’t think the Babymaker Pro would last that long with respect to the battery. I rode in PAS 1&2 most of the time. PAS 3 on climbs and hit up to 38mph on descending hills. I shattered all my concerns and made it back to base with one bar left on the Babymaker Pro. I love my bike and will continue recommending it to anyone who will ask and listen. Thank you #FLX family!

It rides like a dream and it gives me the confidence to ride further and explore more!

Ordered a bike back in February, still no bike by November. They sent email saying if I change the color and handlebars it would ship within 2 weeks. Still no bike being shipped 3 weeks later. Have called, left numerous messages. No returned calls. Finally received a bike, not the one I ordered. But the color I changed to. Build quality is good, paint is very nice. Rides nice seems comfortable

If I could give this bike six stars, I would! It is an awesome bike and it has truly changed my life. I’d like to work, I bike for errands, I bike just to sight see. Rides like a dream. I was worried that I might be too big for the bike, I am 6‘3“ tall and I weigh 230 pounds. The bike fits me perfectly. I don’t quite get the range that I would like, but I’m sure it’s because I’m a little heavy for the bike. I should work on that. Thanks again FLX.I love the bike.
