Excellent training

I like the way john does his instructions but after almost getting my instrument rating i feel like he missed a lot of topics considering that rating, lack of demonstrations of flight portions and description of what stuff actually is he just explains it to you like you already know what he is talking about, i think it can be much bbetter i learned a lot but i think it can be better.

Excellent courses. I'm from the UK but the information was still pertinent and it was very well presented. Also great for anyone trained outside of North America planning on flying within the US.

Great videos, breaks info down in the simplest way for new pilots

A great program by super nice people. I was able to spend an afternoon with Jon and Steph when they were traveling thru central Texas. Jon is a super knowledgeable CFII and they are both super nice people.

I can say from experience that watching FLY8MA videos and reading the materials online helped me with my commercial check ride. It is enjoyable learning from videos.

I really enjoy the information they give you and the outstanding study platforms. They give them into detail and I really enjoy the videos. Thank you for spreading your knowledge.

Im a visual learner and I used FLY8MA for my private pilot certificate. It was great. I mistakenly used a different mainstream course (one that rhymes with “spring pools”) for my instrument rating and it was terrible compared to Jon’s program. I WILL BE USING FLY8MA FOR MY COMMERCIAL TRAINING. Thanks again FLY8MA!

The online classes were great, and I enjoyed the inflight video. I do think the weather section could be broken into a couple of smaller blocks so its not so much at one time. That was a lot of information to absorb at one time. Also, it uses terms that are not normally used in everyday language.

FLY8MA Really helped me and my classmates understand aviation better. We used this site when we had a new teacher to the aerospace field who wanted to not only teach us but learn WITH us as we went through the school year. It helped our teacher as well as my classmates and I very much. We learned a lot about the fundamentals of an airplane and even aviation in general. We often joke about getting John stuck in our heads, however, FLY8MA is an amazing site for air and space knowledge and I would encourage anyone interested in the field to take a look at the site!
