Customer service has been incredibly fast and helpful, and the kayak itself is amazing! I took mine on its maiden voyage down some rapids with no issues whatsoever. It felt perfectly secure and sturdy, even when I tried rolling it over and when I got stuck on a boulder lol. So far I love my #Tucktec :)

Being 53 and out of shape I can put this in og ether and carry it! Great product!

#tucktec kayaks are awesome! I bought mine about two months ago and have been anxiously waiting for my first kayaking trip! Finally arrived on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend everything was perfect except for the seat back just wouldn’t stay up this made paddling a bear on the lake but I had a wonderful time anyways! I used my friends Tucktec for a year before receiving one of my own. My family saved and surprised me for Mother's Day and we ordered and received it just in time for Memorial Weekend. I love that I can load it on my own and carry it on one shoulder. I love being on the water and the Tucktec has given me the freedom I needed. #Tucktec

Got my 2023 8’ kayak #Tucktec as a birthday surprise. Have been out paddling a few times and it’s been a great experience. Looking forward to warmer weather and more adventures. Been learning how to manage and store it as I live in a high rise building. Give it a try!

About a year ago I saw some foldable kayaks thinking they'd be great for me because of the type of car I have. (No
racks for me 😔) early this year I came upon #Tucktec and bit the bullet and bought one. And I finally got to take her out this past memorial day. Was not disappointed. Super easy to assemble (in the right weather) No leaks or issues. Great conversation piece to other kayakers. ( hopefully I make a new Kayaking buddy) This company is amazing! They actually seem to care, which is rare.

I purchased my Tucktec in mid 2020, and while there was a delay at the time due to the pandemic, they were always good about keeping everybody up to date with expected delivery.

I've been kayaking for 35 years, mostly still water and some ocean camping/kayaking trips.

These kayaks are great for the majority of paddling I do in the Erie Canal near home, the beautiful finger lakes of New York, and various streams and rivers.

I have 2 rigid plastic kayaks I've used for years, but sometimes I decided not to go paddling because of the hassle of having to put it up on the roof and tie it down safely. With the tucktec, I can easily just throw it in the back of my car and be out on the water in minutes. While I've never had any kayaks fly off the roof, I have 2 different friends that had unexpected flying kayak syndrome when they weren't tied down properly at highway speeds. That's never a concern with these.

I can fold the kayak in about 2 minutes if I'm trying to impress somebody, but at normal speeds it's under 5 minutes. Much quicker than dealing with the roof mount. The plastic is stronger and thicker than another popular folding kayak, I have a friend with another brand that has had puncture issues when paddling in areas with rocks. I can't image the tucktec ever having a puncture due to rocks and other debris.

In my 2020 version, the comfort of the seat is the main complaint I have, but Tucktec has constantly improved the product and from what I've heard the seat and foot rests are much better than the earlier product I have.

The kayak is very sturdy, and I've never felt like it would tip at all. Due to the length and materials, it may not paddle as fast as others, but it probably holds it's own against other 10ft kayaks.

If you mostly paddle water without swells and waves, and don't want to deal with tying a kayak on your roof, this is a great option. I've been happy with it for over 2.5 years now.

I purchased a fold up #TuckTec kayak in 2022. I love that it is so portable by simply folding it up and throwing it in the trunk or back of my car. I recently traveled to Alabama and paddled both the Coosa and Tallapoosa Rivers. My #Tucktec handled the rivers very well. The company has #1 customer service. I am so happy with my Tucktec kayak that I bought a second one.

I just received my first Tucktec and am extremely happy with my new yak! Took me awhile to assemble the first time, but the second time (later that day) was quick and easy. Customer service is responsive and wonderful, warranty is great, and my first paddling adventure was incredible. I’m new to kayaking and no spring chick, so if I was able to figure out how to assemble it and how to enter/exit the boat without great embarrassment, most anyone can!

Me and my family bought some #tucktec and have been in love with them. We were concerned about being able to fish off them. But to our surprise. Worked perfectly. I will admit I was skeptical but would recommend to anyone doing basic kayaking!!

This is an amazing kayak for those who want to get into the water anytime, anywhere without paying a fortune or having to worry about ratchet straps and roof carriers! Very stable for those of us who are balance challenged. This was definitely worth getting as I will be using it often.

At 28 pounds, I was able to get it to and from the water without issue. I am nearing 60 years old, and not physically fit, yet it felt easy to pick up and move around without incident.

On the water, it tracked well. Speed is not what I am looking for, and this is a bit slower than a hard-shell, narrower kayak, but for me the stability and tracking made up for the speed.

I have been very happy with that decision and have purchased additional Tucktecs, with significant product upgrades in design. I have used Tucktecs in everything from flat to coastal waters and look forward to future innovations. The Customer Service is top notch and truly elevates an already good product to a full line of useful, innovative creations from a great company. The Tucktec Folding Kayak is a perfect kayak for many reasons. Here are the reasons why I enjoy my Tucktec.
It weighs under 30 pounds meaning I can carry it easily. It folds up so I can throw it in the trunk of the car versus hefting it up into a truck or on the roof. Set up and folding takes just a few minutes. No worry about inflating or puncturing an inflatable. Because it folds up it's also easier to store when not in use. I often kayak by myself and these reasons are why I made the purchase and continue to enjoy my foldable kayak. #tucktec

I’ve had my Tucktec kayaks since the Kickstarter of 2020. Over the last few years I’ve taken them out over 75 times, in lakes, reservoirs, and even a few rivers.

I’ve always enjoyed using them and have taken friends and family out to enjoy the water too. Even those without any paddling experience handled these kayaks with ease.

I love seeing posts from all the members of the Tucktec Facebook group and have learned a lot there too. Their customer service is active on the page EVERY DAY and answers everyone’s questions and concerns. Their customer service really is second to none!

I have no reservations recommending these to everyone I know and anyone who asks questions while I assemble it on the waters edge. I don’t miss my bulky, heavy kayaks of years past or having to get them on the roof rack. These foldable kayaks truly are life-changing!

I'm a Kickstarter and the Tucktec is my first and only kayak. I have a bum nerve from a back injury so it's perfect 28 pounds of portability (I own a cart for it but usually can carry it). I am able to fold/unfold it without feeling like I'm in a race. For being a kayak novice, it was incredible easy to learn & tweak it to my needs (a new seat & longer paddle were added later). Being able to CARRY my yak to the ramp is so sweet on busy weekends when all of the parking spots are full of trailers or trucks (I own a small vehicle). It's so easy to clean onsite. As a poor swimmer, Tucktec gets me out on the water safely with an adequate PFD. Feels so good to float in such simplicity!

My Tucktec kayak is one of the coolest things I own. I was almost skeptical before buying, but being a mechanical designer, I knew it had potential. I'm so glad I was right! It's so easy to transform from rolled-up burrito to a kayak, and back. I have my very own Transformer! ;) I'm 205# and sit in the water just as high as someone 180# in a hardshell kayak. It handles quite well, and is way more sturdy than expected; it's really tough.

The best part of buying one was the customer service. We have a FB group and we interact together and with Tucktec on a daily basis. It's like buying one inducts you into a family, it's pretty cool. No product is perfect, and we've all dealt with crappy shipping issues with many companies, but they're on it with a quickness, helping as best they can. #TeamTucktec !

These are the BEST kayaks for older women. They can be carried easily with a shoulder strap & weight of 28 lbs. No kayak rack is needed. . . and it can roll up and be stored in a closet or under a bed. . . They fit in a Toyota Corolla trunk.

Many women have to give up kayaking when a partner dies because we can't cartop a standard kayak anymore. . . and inflatables are prone to leaks and punctures. No problem with the Tucktec.

These are well worth the affordable price!!!
