It gets the job done.

A font management tool is needed for design production, but it doesn't need to be complicated or costly. Font Base is all anyone needs. About 5 or 6 years ago I got tired of the pricey and over complicated brand named leader in the font management industry. I found Font Base and never looked back.

The ease in which I can manage my fonts is second to none. Organizational options are also a plus. I also use the robust folder options to feel for my new fonts. Works as good and better than expected.

I am satisfied with the service provider.

With each update, fonts are slower and slower to load or activate. Fonts are not sorting correctly and sometimes creating duplicates. The icon keeps changing... why?

Me parece que el software es muy bueno y entra a cumplir una función importante. Por otro lado, creo que su precio es algo elevado y es un articulo de lujo. Por eso no le doy las 5 estrellas.

La verdad Font base me parece muy bueno; pero.. no veo cuál es la ventaja de tener una versión paga, hago lo mismo con la versión gratuita y con la versión paga. Uso la versión de pago por que se que el desarrollo de una aplicación como esta cuesta dinero y quiero colaborar con su desarrollo y su mantenimiento.

Locking the ability to turn a feature off behind a paywall is shitty.

El único detalle no me gustan los pagos autómaticos cada año, esa decisión tiene que ser personal.

i can't import a lot of fonts including postscript. Super annoying.

Fantastic, without problems …

The app is fast and works well. The only thing lacking is the ability to filter out fonts that haven't been tagged. Even sorting by date would help. (thus the 4 stars)

Otherwise, it's a bargain compared to others, and I don't have to wait for the fonts to load on the page.

I have found FontBase to be a good alternative to the more expensive options. I used to use Extensis Suitcase. As an independent designer, I just needed a simple, basic solution, that would play nice with Adobe Creative Cloud Apps, and this works.
