Had for provided by this company at a birthday we attended on the weekend. It was some of the best smokehouse food we’ve ever had. And it’s not only the meat which was excellent - the salads were flavourful and the deserts were to die for. Can’t recommend them highly enough

We had John and the team do a BBQ for a large party in September 2025. 60 people, adults and kids. The food was excellent. Beautifully presented and wonderfully cooked in the smoker that was a real centrepiece to the event. Highly recommended.

John and his team from Fontmell Smokehouse are truly exceptional. We held an event for 50 people and the food was outstanding. We had the smoker onsite and the kids, guests and particularly me loved it. The care, attention to detail on all dishes was amazing, the quality of ingredients superb. I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

I met John at the Bath market and immediately got hooked by the smells of bbq meat coming from his trailer. The food did not disappoint! So much so, that I asked him to cater for a corporate event held at Avon Valley Country Park.
John and his team did a fantastic job of providing beef brisket for our 700 guests without a hitch!

John and his team catered our wedding for 100+ people, and exceeded expectations in every way - it absolutely made our day and we couldn't be happier! Their trademark smoked meats were amazingly tasty, and the custom designed vegetarian options and sides were perfect - all our guests complimented on how much they enjoyed their food. John also went above and beyond helping with numerous other jobs on the day, and was across loads of details we had forgotten, which was really reassuring to have such a professional team looking after everything - really took the stress out of organising and nothing to worry about on the day. Cannot recommend them highly enough for catering any events.

Fantastic flavour - tender, not dry, powerful. Met these at a food truck location in Bristol, fantastic service, and quality pork sandwich!

Had food from these guys at the Great Bath Feast a few weeks ago, it was the most amazing smoked brisket I've had anywhere, very high quality ingredients, great food.

John and the team prepared delicious tacos for my 40th birthday party. They used authentic Mexican ingredients and the tacos tasted sensationally! Everyone was delighted!

The Fontmell Smokehouse excelled themselves .
They catered for a sit down lunch ( in a marquee) for 42 people and the food was off the charts ( beef wellington). Best wellington I have ever had. The pre-lunch service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the team. I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND THEM TO CATER FOR ANY PARTY/ MEAL ETC

Fontmell's pulled pork buns were out of this world! Guest were asking where I got the food for days afterwards!! John couldn't have been more helpful and for the quality of the food I thought it was extremely good value for money. I will certainly be ordering from Fontmell smokehouse again.
