Fantastic foraging day with Alex at The Fold with more than nibbles at the end - more like a gourmet tasting menu. So knowledgeable and engaging. Definitely the best experience to date in my foray into foraging.

Grace was very welcoming and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot and it was very useful to have an email follow up of all the plants identified. She managed to connect with each of us in the group and was open to all manner of questions about the plants and forest area. And then there was the surprise edible treat at the end which was fabulous! I won't say what and spoil the surprise, but what a treat!

Emily was fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgable and explained things thoroughly. Highly recommend this course!

Wonderful Forage & Nibble session with Jim at Holker Hall. The variety of mushrooms we found was amazing and he was so knowledgable and interesting. We even had chance to "taste" a poisonous mushroom, under supervision of course. It was a truly immersive experience and at the end Jim cooked us up 3 different types of wild mushroom served on his home baked sourdough bread with homemade wild garlic pesto and damson ketchup topped with dried wire weed...delicious. Highly recommended, we will be going on further sessions and brilliant gift also.

Just had a fabulous day at Holker Hall foraging with Jim. He is knowledgeable and fun making this a great course for ‘would be’ foragers. We will definitely be signing up for another session very soon.BTW , Holker Hall is well worth a visit if you haven’t been .

I bought my wife a couple of vouchers at Christmas. The first she tried to use was down in Folkestone, an hours drive. No one turned up. The first she knew was when I looked on the website and it said cancelled. Apparently “she should have got an email’, but no email was received. She’s taken tomorrow off work to go to one in Eltham only to be told at 4.55 tonight by email that it’s cancelled tomorrow. She’s livid.

The Foraging Workshop in the Forest of Bowland was both educational and fun. The meal at the end was delicious and full of things we’d never imagined eating. Jim was a great animator, well prepared, full of information, kept up the tempo but very happy to answer questions. Well worth it. Strongly recommended.

Great few hours with Jim who has a wealth of knowledge on all things foraging and I found it even more interesting than expected. Look forward to learning more about foraging following this, and hopefully finding a few more hen of the woods.

We had a brilliant time foraging greens and mushrooms with Jim in Grizedale Forest. He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and we had a delicious forest-cooked snack. A great way to spend 3 hours whilst on holiday, thank you so much!

Had a great time on the Forage and Feast event in the Forest of Bowland yesterday led by Jim. It was a very enjoyable 5 hours. Would highly recommend it, learnt a lot about what is growing in ours woods that I normally just walk past. Give it a go you won’t be disappointed.

have just enjoyed a forage and feast experience with a small group of 8 people by Jim, an amazing 5hrs in the Forest of Bowland. Delivering new interesting information and facts, not a dull moment and lots of ideas to take away - I will never curse a nettle again. If in doubt about giving it a try just do it, you wont be disappointed well worth the money.

Alex was really great. He had so much knowledge on foraging and had us all munching as soon as the day started. After a fabulous stroll round The Fold in Bransford, Worcestershire we were then amazed at the 3 course meal he created why we all sipped on some lovely homemade wine and forage nibbles. Really an amazing experience of what foraging is all about. Thank you Alex

Did a 3 hour Forage and Nibble walk in Lancaster with Jim. Great knowledge, I've been on a few foraging walks and this was by far the best. We looked at a wide range of plants, berries, fruit and fungi. Being shown a safe way to taste fungi. The mantra, Never Munch on a Hunch. Knowledge is power and life saving. Hoping to do another Forage Box walk soon, hopefully a coastal one next time. Highly recommend.

Eddie who led our course in Chartham,Kent was very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about the subject of foraging for edible things as we walked along the river path.
He made the course interesting and pleasurable, especially at the end when he gave us delicious food containing foraged things. The dandelion root coffee was great!
I hope to do another course sometime soon.
