Not very helpful

Not very helpful. I thought I would get some imformation from you. Instead you gave me details of a man with a different first name. My great uncle's first name was KIERAN not kiernan. His surname was CAULFIELD. So I am hoping you can achieve better results this time.
I did expect to be given the information directly by you and not to be directed where to go and find it, such as the National Archives at Kew.

Very helpful. Would be good to search for place of enlistment when looking for a common name, would certainly save time

Unfortunately the place of enlistment cannot used to Identify a Service Person nor match that person to their Online Military Records as it is not recorded on every Page of a record or every document relating to Military Service.

a fine example of how to trace my military ancesters

a fine example of how to trace my ancesters military records .
i find that the ORBAT records very useful to find out where they were, when a particular incident happened to them, and also the time-line, to their movements !

Great customer service but sadly not as much info as i would have liked

expecting to get extensive records of the service of my ancestor and all they came up with was the most basic of information ( all that i already knew, his service number branch of the military rank ) I was expecting much more information on his career etc. Which was disappointing
But after contacting them i found them extremely helpful and professional with their approach to customer service and satisfaction hence the 4 star rating.
