I really enjoyed the design of their websites but it’s become extremely buggy and unusable. The support has been very disappointing as well. I’ve been waiting for a response from their team for a week now.

There are technical issues with the website templates, asked the support to fix them a few weeks ago, they don’t seem to care enough about it. Their tech team is still busy. Good luck guys.

DO NOT BUY

Total scam! Paid for two pairs of trousers that took weeks to come. When they eventually came they were terrible quality and one pair was sent in an XL despite the fact I ordered a small. After contacting the company I was made to pay for return shipping (despite the fact the fault was theirs) which was £17.70 to return back to China.

The company has become incredibly money oriented. They keep trying to take monthly payments that have been already paid. I got a 3rd email Christmas morning that my card was declined and I had clearly explained to them on Christmas Eve that it was billed and paid on the 20th. No wonder they are the only company my bank marked as fraud and they froze my account. Whatever they are doing regarding billing is not even close to normal. Just look at all the reviews regarding billing issues. I happily canceled my account. Avoid doing business with this company.

I purchased the PRO-PLUS trial, the most expensive option, because it offered design services to help you build out your website. When you go to check our it has the words design services, $1000, gone to zero because you get that for free with this purchase. Currently there is a half off sale so I am incentivized to make the purchase. ONLY TO LEARN - because it's on sale that pro plus account no longer gives you design services I am later told by bots in an email. SOOOO FRUSTRATING. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE BAIT AND SWITCH ON THE SERVICE AND I AM SO ANGRY. I have already poured days into making my portfolio or I would be leaving for another site. THE CHECKOUT PAGE IS NOT CLEAR! YOU ARE LIARS AND THIEVES. I was so incredibly angry to learn about this, WHY DID I BUY THIS! It's like saying your going to sell a pair of pants for half off, and you only get one leg of the pants. If the service is half off then give the full service! Just because there is a sale then you only get part of it! CHANGE YOUR CHECKOUT. Don't pry on small business owners trying to make a website for themselves. This is what he says - To some people $156 is a lot, maybe not in silicon valley.

If you are wanting the Site Building Service then I can refund you the US$156 +18.84 State Tax paid on 8 Nov and then set you on the full-paid plan which is US$312.00 + taxes and then this would allow you to obtain the service as offered by Victoria originally.

The same thing happens to me, they still charge me a monthly plan. They changed that themselves because before I paid annually. Now I can't talk to a human, only to their robot, so they don't give me my money back, it just revolves around the same thing I've been trying to talk to them for 1 month...
Also, they don't have a Google rating, which makes it suspicious

It's annoying when platforms decide to offer their content in several languages (which is a good thing), but just install an automatic translation system without any pre-publication checks. As a result, the French version of many articles is just awkward. Even proper nouns are translated (in one blog post, "Lightworks" video editor becomes "travaux de lumière" lol). Even the button for accepting cookies becomes "accepteur" ("acceptor"). Please, guys, you should be a little more respectful. When I think that these articles are referenced on the first page of Google for certain keywords... #fatigue

Assez cher et pas terrible comparé à d'autres services concurrents, le référencement n'est pas parfait (impossible de changer le favicon par exemple) et la personnalisation limitée. Seul certains templates sont jolis (galerie photo). Je suis parti ailleurs !

When I first joined Format, their prices were reasonable now over double the amount I’m paying! I tried to stop my subscription with them last year would be my last year! They’ve now taken another years money out of my bank without asking!
Don’t trust them, they are overpriced. you can find Free website providers or much cheaper online in the UK. This is American company. I will try to get my money back.???????

Amazing customer support and a nice and easy product to use.

Their live chat feature works very well and the support team is kind and very helpful if you need any help.

The websites are customizable and very beginner friendly, they do also give acces to custom codes.

The platform could generally need some more themes for the initial setup and the prices are also a bit steep for what you are getting. That's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.

Pros
+ Nice and easy to use interface
+ Amazing support.

Cons
- Prices are way too high
- Not enough plans so you end up paying stuff that you don't use
- Difference between monthly and yearly subscription is just ridiculous 35 euros versus 21 euros

But what is more annoying is that they told me that they were increasing their prices only 1 month before the billing cycle, knowing that 1 month is not enough to change the platform (which I'm going to do anyway) and move my domain which is managed by them too. So basically I can't even gain time by passing to the monthly subscription because of its ridiculous 35 euros/month price.

This is just not nice.

They took over Visual Society but a lot went wrong from that moment. Work from other photographers were exposed on MY website.. serious?? Anyways, they offered me a change to their platform but no thanks, I moved on.
