âve been using the FORME shaker for a little while now and overall it feels like a very high-quality, well-made product. The materials and finish are very good and it feels much more premium than the usual cheap shakers you can buy anywhere. In terms of build and look, Iâm very happy with it.
However, Iâm still unsure about the plastic mixer. A few times it hasnât seemed to mix as well as a traditional metal ball in cheaper shakers, and Iâve been left with some lumpy parts in my shake, even after shaking continuously for around thirty seconds to a minute. For the price and design, I was expecting more consistent mixing performance.
Another drawback for me is the very slow flow rate, even with the mouth opening fully open. It makes drinking a bit frustrating compared to other shakers Iâve used, where the liquid flows more freely. This might be a design choice, but in practice it just feels too restricted.
Overall, itâs a high-quality, well-made shaker, but in my opinion there are a few faults that hold it back. Would I buy again? Probably not, unless there is an updated version that improves the mixer and flow.
Follow up to Forme:
I just wanted to add a bit more detail after using the shaker in different ways. I have multiple different powders at home that each require different amounts of liquids and powders to be mixed properly, so Iâm used to adjusting ratios and knowing how they should come out. This morning I used 30 mg of powder with 200 mL of water, gave it a really thorough shake for at least two minutes, both sideways and up and down, and I still ended up with a lumpy bit at the end of the drink.
Also, reaching out to your support team isnât going to address one of my main concerns, which is the very slow flow rate when drinking from the shaker. Even fully open, the mouthpiece feels too restrictive and the liquid comes out much more slowly than with other shakers I own, which makes it less enjoyable to use day to day. Iâm sure that if youâre working on a new version of the product, this is one of the key areas youâll be looking at.
All that said, I still think itâs a really wellâmade product overall. The build quality and feel are top notch, and if the mixing performance and flow rate were improved, it would be an excellent shaker that Iâd be happy to recommend.

I was disappointed when the product arrived. It is advertised as a premium product but it is not. Make sure you give it extra time to air dry after cleaning as it cannot be re used quickly even with paper towel to get in the hard parts. The powder storage goes damp in wet weather walks. I regret buying this.

Can you explain a bit more regarding your experience with drying the product? If you wash the product by hand it will take the same amount to try as other stainless steel bottles/shakers on the market.
There is a secure lid on top of the storage container which prevents any moisture getting inside. Perhaps the storage container was still damp from a previous wash before you put powder inside it?

Materials are decent and it aesthetically appealing, however badly designed.
Yes- it doesnât leak, but when drinking from the shaker, you always end up with a little bit left at the bottom that you canât get, then you likely end up spilling drips in the process of removing the main lid to finish your shake. Did Forme actually test this product extensivelyâŠ?
Wtf is actually the point in the additional storage bit at the bottom, really? Youâre going to make your shake ahead of time and bring it with you, and youâre hardly going to want to make another one..? besides, the shaker is too narrow to empty your protein powder into easily without spilling some.
Forme seem to take pride in how easy it is to clean, however the extra storage bit at the bottom annoyingly traps water, and thereâs just too many components making it a faff to clean and dry it all properly.
I really regret buying it, feel frustrated every time I use it, and will prob just give it to a charity shop before buying a non-pretentious wanky shaker like this one.

The design is intentionally different from traditional wide, plastic shakers. That slimmer profile and concealed lip are part of what gives it the cleaner look and leakproof performance, but we understand that the drinking experience wonât suit everyone. There shouldnât be excessive liquid left at the bottom, though, so if thatâs happening consistently weâd genuinely like to look into it.
The integrated storage is designed primarily for people who donât want to carry a full tub of powder around all day. Many customers use it for pre or post workout supplements, creatine, or second servings when theyâre travelling or at work. Itâs not essential for everyone, but for a lot of users it removes the need for extra containers.
On cleaning, we recommend a proper cleaning brush and ensuring each component is fully separated and air dried. The storage section shouldnât trap water once fully unscrewed and dried, so if thatâs happening repeatedly it may be worth us taking a closer look.
We know the design is more premium and considered than a standard £2 shaker. For some, that difference is exactly why they love it. For others, a simpler plastic shaker might genuinely be a better fit. Either way, we do appreciate you giving it a go.

Our bottles are made from high-quality stainless steel with BPA-free plastic lids, and odour retention is rarely an issue when cleaned properly. For best results, we recommend a deep clean using hot soapy water and a proper cleaning brush to reach all interior surfaces, including under the seals. Leaving the lid off to air-dry is a great habit too, which youâve already been doing.
To help us understand what might be causing this smell, could you let us know which protein powder you're using? Some brands use ingredients or flavourings that tend to cling more than others, especially if left in the bottle for a while.

I purchased a shaker which states it held 50gâs of protein powder. It doesnât and I have tried to return the product. Being told I canât as it has been âusedâ. The product doesnât do what it advertised. Just being told waffle by someone through discussion on IG. They havenât replied to an email sent two days ago. This company is a joke !!!!

This is easily both the most effective and the most stylish gym bottle I have ever owned. I bought the standard sized one in classic black which was an instant hit with me, I love the look of it, I love the silent shaking. I love the built-in supplement container and Iâve gotten a number of compliments and questions from people in The Gym asking me where I got it. It doesnât just look good but is also the most effective shaker in that I never have any lumps - perfectly smooth protein! iâve given one to a powerlifting friend of mine as a gift and just bought myself the larger hydrator as well.

It took a very long time for the order to show up, but when it finally did, it was a great shaker bottle. Especially for hydrator mixing.
I also use it every day for my morning protein drink. It took me a while to figure out how to set up the powder so that it would not get stuck in the mixer. Initially, I found a lot of powder stuck under the lip of the mixer if I put the powder on top of the liquid.
But I have since figured out how to get the best out of the mixing when there is a lot of powder.
But the best thing by far is that it can keep things cold or warm, which was my motivation for buying it in the first place.

Having read good reviews about the Forme Shakers I ordered 3 identical bottles for my sons for xmas presents. I received one of the bottles fairly soon after ordering but no sign of the other 2. I have sent a few emails to Forme enquiring where my other 2 bottles are and have even sent a photo (as requested by them) to show exactly what I received (clearly didn't trust that I was telling the truth!). No update on my order for over 2 days now despite their website saying they respond to emails within 48 hours. Really poor customer service. I appreciate it is a busy time of year but I ordered well in advance and there are plenty of other smaller businesses that manage to deal with the large influx of orders at this busy time and keep their customers updated on their order. All I want is an update on when I can receive the remainder of my order that I have paid for!

I am incredibly disappointed with this product. The shaker does mix the powders well. I found my powders tend to mix into clumps rather than dissolve with the liquid. The same powder mixed well in other shakers.

Getting a smooth mix really depends on following the correct powder-to-liquid ratio recommended by your supplement brand. If too much powder is added relative to the liquid, there may not be enough space inside the bottle for the contents to properly move and blend. We always recommend adding liquid first, then powder, and giving the bottle a firm, continuous shake â that tends to give the best results with our silent mixer.
