I really appreciate that they don’t take a percentage of donations like many other fundraising platforms. Freefunder has been such a great experience - the setup was a breeze & the fees are much less than some of the other options which means that more of the donated funds are actually going to make it to our local teacher’s legal funds to allow them to stand up against viewpoint discrimination since our school board opted to remove a poster that said ‘Hate Has No Home Here’ and has small hearts supporting the LGTBQ+ community after having it in his classroom for 4 years without issue. Worth noting is that the complaining parent is our school board president who has already targeted the LGTBQ+ when he attempted to ban certain books like “Heartstopper” in our middle school Scholastic Book Fair a few years ago.

FreeFunder is a great alternative to the other big crowdfunding platforms. I found the user experience simple, accessible, streamlined, and transparent. The 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction rate is comparable to all the other crowdfunding services. It also seems like FreeFunder links don't get suppressed by the social media algorithms as much as larger platforms, making for more visibility and fundraising traction!

Freefunder has been a blessing in disguise. I have never been a fan of the main fundraising tool everyone out there knows about and went in search of an alternative. Freefunder is transparent with the credit card fees which are not inflated at all (2.9% and $.30 transaction fee is the same I get charged for my business for any charges for clients) AND they allow people to choose if they want to contribute to the running of Freefunder or not. It has been easy to use and the communication is stellar.

The platform is extremely user-friendly and simple to set up, which made a stressful time a little easier. There are no hidden fees, and withdrawing funds is quick and easy. Unlike many other fundraising platforms, they don’t take a cut of your donations — the only fee is the standard credit card processing fee. It’s transparent, trustworthy, and truly focused on helping people when they need it most. I’m very grateful for this platform and would highly recommend it to anyone fundraising for a personal cause.

FF is the best tool to manage an online fundraising campaign. It is easy to set up, manage, and share. Plus, i’m like other more well-known online fundraising platforms, Free Funder is very fair with only taking a very small amount from each contribution. Our community is raising money for a homeless man and his dog. We are hoping to raise enough money to get him into long-term housing and needed medical, vet, grooming, and dental care.

I’ve never done a fundraiser before and had no idea where to start. ChatGPT (!) suggested FreeFunder because it’s super user-friendly, doesn’t charge a platform fee, and doesn’t nudge donors to tip or otherwise engage on the site. Questions I had (and still have) about any aspect of my campaign to raise funds to self-publish my late-life memoir have been answered by email promptly and pleasantly by a lovely support person. As of this writing, not even a week in, I’ve reached 85% of my goal and still going strong! And my donors are saying it was an easy experience. I can’t recommend this site highly enough! I hope more people learn about it.

Even though it’s a smaller platform, the breach is highly contagious almost it’s a genuine site ran by genuine people and I was honestly shocked of how fast I started to earn from my campaign. I’d highly recommend free thunder over any other platform thank you guys so much for what you do.

I am leaving 5 stars for FreeFunder as my experience has been very comforting. I had a few questions and sent a few separate emails to ask. Their response was not only quick, but also very caring and thorough.
I set my goal for just over 5000 because the costs needed for the funeral were just over 8000. Well, the campaign was so easy to share and communicate to others that our balance quickly jumped.
The fees are reasonable as compared to others. I do like the option to try to raise enough to win the 70$ as that covers so many fees. We haven't made it to the full 70$ yet, but I am still hopeful.
I have zero complaints and I am pleased with the entire process. I can easily say that others can use this platform without any issues.

A friend referred me to this website… & let’s just say I love it it easy to set up your fundraiser and access your money. They do take a fee from every donation so just hope you surpass your goal but overall I love it !!!

Very easy to set up with very clear instructions and a lot of customization options without getting too complicated. Withdrawals are also simple and easy to set up and initiate, and funds are directly deposited fairly quickly. Overall, a great choice for any fundraising campaign, with a minimum of fuss and no unnecessary fees and charges. Withdrawal incurs a nominal processing fee, but such is the case with any platform, and there are no hidden fees. Everything is up front and clear.

Incredibly user friendly. After setting up, it Is so easy to navigate the page itself. They separate it into account, campaign, and funds. Then you can hit the question mark bubble to get a detailed explanation what each part means. Very helpful in terms of using free funder regularly.

Additionally, I had a small hiccup when setting up the account and messaged support for assistance. They not only helped me fix the issue I had, they did so very quickly. Very pleased with free funder and would highly recommend!

I was first drawn to freefunder because of its unique optional donation that did not force supporters to forfeit a portion of their donation to the corporation, unlike other similar platforms. The set-up was easy, quick, and user-friendly. Even after 160 contributors, there has not been one complaint about the service. I will definitely be using freefunder in the future.
