This site made it so easy to create my fundraising page. They have been very supportive and they don’t take a huge fee out of donations like many fundraising sites. I highly recommend Freefunder.

Never thought I would be searching for a fundraiser platform to raise funds for my niece's funeral. So easy to use and I feel like FreeFunder really wants our campaign to be successful. With helpful tips and a platform that donates back to your own campaign, you can't go wrong. I pray we are able to raise the funds needed to give my niece a proper burial and a memorial for her two littles that were left behind. 😔

Creating a fundraiser was simple, donating was easy, and knowing we are getting more for each donation towards my friend's cancer fundraiser was great. A newer platform, but worth it!

Our son is headed to DC on an 8th grade field trip and it’s quite pricey. FreeFunder has helped to setup a landing page for friends and family to donate, lets us keep track of non platform donations, and helps with ideas to promote. In addition, I love the “Text to donate” feature! So far, frefunder has been a great fundraising tool!!!

I was actually surprised at how simple it was to set up my campaign through FreeFunder and an account through Stripe (the payment processing platform used by FreeFunder). Both were incredibly user friendly which is so important! Additionally, FreeFunder provides a clear step by step process and even emails with tips on how to succeed along the way.

I have used GoFundMe in the past and was disappointed at how much was taken out from the fundraiser itself.

We originally started our fundraiser with GoFundMe and were not happy with the 5% they took with every donation. So after receiving 1/6 of the amount we needed, we shut that fundraiser down and searched for a better option. Freefunder became our #1 choice. It doesn’t take a percentage but rather gives everyone the option to donate to them for organizing the fundraiser. Currently we are at 1/3 of our goal and pleased with how we are able to raise more money faster simply by being able to keep more of it. We recommend this company to anyone.

My twin brother recently experienced a life altering event which left him immediately unable to work for at least 30 days. And it also left him in a position where he would need to change professions. He was a high functioning, decades long alcoholic who also happened to also work in the alcohol industry.
Very few people knew how he struggled and one day his body basically stopped functioning and he had to enter detox & rehab.
With his permission, he allowed me to share what was going on with him and to also set up a fund raiser to give him a financial cushion and the freedom to make those big life changes.
I was familiar with the main crowdfunding platform, but wanted to learn if there were other, better options. I found FreeFunder. It was super easy to set up & in the end, more of the donated money went to my brother’s cause rather than to transaction fees.
Honestly, I was nervous to do a fund raiser. It is strange to ask for help, but truly, people DO want to help! It has been such a great experience to see the community of friends and family rise up to surround my brother during his recovery. Crowdfunding is a beautiful way to focus the loving question, “How can I help?” Money does not fix addiction or depression, but it IS a tangible way to support someone during a dark time.
