List of discrepancies found with our brand new trailer upon pickup at the dealer are as follows:

-Marker light did not work and we found that it had no continuity to ground.
-Scene light had a pinched gasket and each of the scene lights have one of the mounting screws stripped out.
-Fan control holder mounted crooked
-Final cleaning was sub-par
-Vise grips left on chassis
-Battery box door not square with box
-Powder coat flaking off angle iron
-Rust on fairlead and in winch box
-Decent size scratch in upper right outside corner
-Many aluminum welds were inconsistent and lesser quality than I had expected.

Finally, I would offer this to Featherlite:
When you are buying “the best” and it’s brand new you should get quality workmanship with attention to detail, not just good enough. It is important to get the little things right because if you can’t get the little things right you will never get the big things right.

The trailer is very nice how ever there where some very sharp edges in some areas that needed attention and modified so not to do harm to the horses

I'm very pleased with my purchase, it performs well.

I purchased the Featherlite 7441 trailer in early September as I only have one horse, for now. I have about 3000 miles on it so far in the last 4 months. I bought the trailer for several reasons. I know others who have them and recommended the brand. I like the 16 inch rims with E rated tires. The suspension system is smooth. I like the hitch as it is very easy to latch and unlatch. I have towed it behind a half ton and a one ton pickup truck and both tow it equally well.
My only complaint is the with the latch on the drop down window. The latch is blind rivetted to the frame. One cannot get to it without disassembling the frame. On mine it was loose so that when the release handle was turned the connecting cable pulled the latch and not the locking bar. Once that occurred the window would not stay closed and flopped open. The nearest "Featherlite" dealer is several hundred miles away. I epoxied the latch in place and it fixed the issue.

Trailers are working well, we have done some changes on the trailer design from the original trailer purchased and everyone that is using them is very happy!!!

I bought a 2 horse Featherlight slant load, with a front tack room. Im very happy with it, it pulls very nice, the tack room is set up in a spacious manner for a smaller trailer, I bought it for day rides, as I was getting tired of hauling my 4 horse LQ to go for a few hours. Its all that I wanted!

My Featherlite trailer is fantastic! Just looking at it in comparison to other trailers, my Featherlite is much higher quality construction. We pulled it on a 5500 mile road trip and it pulled great! Handled the load well, the trailer brakes worked great! I’m very pleased with my purchase!

Great trailer. My only complaint is there is no way to unhook (open) the escape door in the front side of trailer from inside. I often bring cattle or hogs in and then leave out of the front side door. Cant have it locked and open it from inside or even reach through and work the outside latch like I could on my old one. Otherwise I have been really happy with this trailer.

In August 2020, I brought home a 2019 Featherlite 3 Horse GN trailer. The Double JJ dealership prepped the trailer and hitched it to my truck. They checked all the connections, lights, tire pressure, etc. It tows beautifully. My horse is still getting used to the new trailer. The horse isn't used to the solid design of the partitions. Due to Covid restrictions, I haven't gone out on the trails or camped like I usually do. I'm ready to go once Covid restrictions lift.

Just bought my 5th car trailer. Love them. although disappointed to find that my "aluminum car trailer" has a steel plate down the inside that rusts. I bought it because it wouldn't rust..hmm

We made arrangements to arrive after hours because we live in Bixby Oklahoma. They were extremely nice to open up and sell us a trailer at our convenience! The trailer is exactly what we wanted and the service was amazing!!!

Had a 1995 3 horse that I loved. Sold it and bought a new 4 horse. Love it as well.

The trailer from start to finish has been great!

I visited Golden Gate in Concord/Davidson where I have previously purchased trailers that met my needs. I needed a special size trailer with a custom width and length to accomodate a piece of equipment. The salesman went to work for me and we designed exactly what I needed. It was special ordered in January then production was interrupted due to Covid-19. The production facility was down several months. Once reopened in a reduced capacity my trailer was completed and I took delivery around June this year. Trailer exceeds what I expected and I'm very pleased with how it performs.

This is my 4th Featherlite horse trailer. Quality, value for the money, looks and options are why I will only buy Featherlite

When I purchased the trailer the latch on the camper door had to be fixed when I got home bc it wouldn’t stay shut. It’s already has stuff that is falling apart. The plastic on the screens is cheap and one has broken already for being a new trailer it sure seems like it wasn’t put together very well. I love how light it is but not sure if I made the right choice to buy this kind of trailer. I’m disappointed in a few things that have happened already!!

The featherlite topper is very well constructed, and incredibly durable. I have taken this box on several trips to pick up lambs and it makes it so much easier then pulling a trailer. The only down side to the featherlite topper is that it does not have a locking system on the back gate, and the divider gate has no way to secure it in the open position. I believe that if you correct these two issues the system would be perfect.
