Stylish, good customer service, speedy delivery!
We were looking for a stylish sofa without having to spend too much or wait too long! I had a few questions and a request about the sofa legs, all queries were dealt with promptly and James was so helpful. The delivery was 7 working days later and the delivery men were friendly and rang 30 mins before.
The sofa looks lovely, have only had it a week but looks great and just like the photo. As another review has said its more firm than soft but imagine from the cushion filling texture it'll soften in time. This sofa is for a kitchen snug and feels it's ideal for light use. Would 100% use the company again for furniture that needs to be stylish with a speedy delivery time. Many thanks!

I received my couch within a few days. Very surprised and happy how fast delivery was. Delivery guys was so polite and helpful. Also very careful with my furniture. My couch is beautiful im so pleased. Id say the seating is medium to firm. More firm to be honest. Overall. Very pleased and no complaints.

I bought a Portland corner settee
I bought a Portland corner settee, and I have to be honest â the construction is very poor and weak. The sides of the base are made from 12mm chipboard, and the base itself is "sprung" with cheap webbing (not metal springs of any type). The advert states âgood strong quality, UK built,â which is a big understatement....I could of got it half the price , now knowing its a cheap build, from other online sellers.
This sofa is not going to last two minutes â you will fall through the bottom of it and get deep sags. The cushions are very firm at the moment, as they have to be, but the sofa is also very low to get off. The feet do not match either â some are black plastic and some are chrome.
The upholstery itself is OK, but the overall construction is very poor and cheap. It feels like it has been made to fit through doorways rather than for comfort.
Overall, I am disappointed. This has now become a common theme of furniture that looks nice but is poorly made. I will be replacing the legs to raise the sofa higher... until I need to replace the base webbing with springs, I will be using beach sofa slats as supports between the base cushions â all at additional cost.
Buying products online has become a joke. The colour was not a good match to the photos, but I am not too fussed about that. Would I buy again? Absolutely NO. I am not happy with the poor construction and how low it is. Once the base webbing starts stretching, I will be sitting on the floor.
