Ordered on 25 July 2026 (order #152937), paid €197.23. The confirmation stated "Taxes: €0.00". One item was out of stock, so the order was split; the commercial invoice was only issued on 10 August.

When the parcels reached France, the carrier demanded €60 in import charges on the first and €15 on the second before delivery. Neither amount had been disclosed before the order, and the confirmation had explicitly stated that no taxes applied. I refused charges I had been told did not exist. Both parcels went back. Under French consumer law, charges not disclosed before purchase cannot be passed on to the buyer afterwards (Articles L221-5 and L221-6).

The seller offered €167.23 instead of €197.23, withholding €30 as "customs fees", and made even that partial payment conditional on the parcels physically reaching its warehouse, with no date given.

That condition is now met. Their own tracking link shows parcel #152937-a was collected by them at Grove City, Ohio, on 14 September 2026 at 13:16. Twelve days later, no refund has been issued, not even the €167.23 they do not dispute.

Article L221-24 of the French Consumer Code states that a refund may be withheld until the goods are received or until the buyer provides proof they were sent back, whichever occurs first. I pointed this out. Their written reply of 10 September 2026: "While I understand your reference to Article L221-24 of the French Consumer Code, our policy requires that we receive the items back at our facility before we can initiate the refund process." That same email ends with "Thank you for choosing GASPER.CO."

Nine weeks after payment: no goods, no refund, and they now hold both.

To other buyers outside the US: do not rely on "Taxes: €0.00". Budget for import charges at delivery, because they will be demanded and your refusal will be treated as your fault. I would not order here again.

The necklace that I ordered was the tanzanite pendant with the gold rope chain. The necklace is beautiful! It came in a timely fashion! And the communication with the company was respectful and professional!

I had an amazing experience with GASPER.CO from start to finish.

The necklace looks even better in real life than in the photos. The quality, details, finish and overall design feel very premium and stylish. You can really tell they care about the products they create, and the piece feels expensive and well made.

What impressed me the most was the customer service. Jazmin was incredibly kind, professional and patient throughout the entire process. She always replied politely, kept me updated and genuinely cared about making sure everything was resolved properly.

These days it’s rare to find a company that still provides this level of after-sales support and customer care. Even after the purchase, they continued helping with patience and professionalism until everything was perfect.

I truly appreciate the support and would definitely recommend GASPER.CO to anyone looking for quality jewellery and excellent customer service.

Extremely unprofessional behaviour from this brand.

Over a short period of time, we experienced repeated hostile and suspicious activity that appeared designed to damage our reputation. Multiple reviews were posted that do not reflect genuine customer interactions and raised serious concerns about their authenticity.

This behaviour appears to be connected to the business operating under the trading name GWORKS TRADING LTD.

In addition, our observations of this brand’s conduct and product range are concerning. Many items closely resemble widely available, generic designs commonly seen across the industry, yet are presented as premium and original.

Rather than focusing on transparency, quality, and ethical conduct, this brand’s actions suggest a pattern of attempting to undermine others instead. This has been a disappointing and troubling experience.
