Really professional experience.
Would recommend on starters and for you re-assements
The staff and trainers were amazing

I recently completed my reassessment at Gas Training Centre and had a great experience. The staff were professional, welcoming, and made the whole process straightforward. The assessor was fair, knowledgeable, and helped put me at ease throughout the assessment. The facilities were well organised, and everything ran on time. I’d definitely recommend Gas Training Centre to anyone looking for gas training or ACS reassessments. Thanks again to the whole team!

Ollie and Phil were great. Made the assessment less mundane than it had to be and had great knowledge of the industry not only theoretically but practically in the real world too. Will always use them. Highly recommend for all courses (that they do)

I have recently completed the New Entrant Gas Course at Gastec. In addition to this core qualification, I also completed several additional modules including LPG Conversion, S&Y and HWSS. While these were not essential for entering the industry, they are areas I intend to continue developing moving forward.
The main portion of the course is classroom based, building towards the examinations in the fourth week. The instructors were second to none, professional, highly knowledgeable, and approachable, while maintaining the right balance to ensure the required standards were met throughout.
Following the four-week teaching, examination, and practical phase, we moved into work placement. This naturally varied depending on the work available at the time, but it was valuable to see the theory put to practice, with the process explained as we worked. It was also valuable to observe customer interactions and gain an understanding of the challenges involved in the real-world environment.
I can honestly say I could not have had a better experience or taken more away from the course; Gastec were great from start to finish and could not have been more accommodating.
The centre also regularly renews qualified engineers' certifications, which provided a great opportunity to speak with people actively working in the industry.
Overall, I felt welcomed into a supportive and professional community that is genuinely invested in helping people succeed. Having now completed the course I feel confident and ready to put what I have learnt into practice.

Quite simply a great place, super staff and friendly atmosphere. Have been to a lot of training/assessment centres in my 30 odd years in the industry ,,,this is the best

Easy to learn and supportive staff, overall
CCN1 course felt difficult at first but everything clicks into place afterwards.

Very adapting to peoples different learning styles and talk the time to walk you through stuff you’re not confident about.

From no experience to a confident gas engineer I can highly recommend this course for anyone wanting to make a start in their career

Trainers are very knowledgeable and informative, learnt alot on the course and had fun doing it. If your looking to get your ACS, and build your portfolio I couldnt think of a better place to learn!

Great delivery from Ricky, he smashes through it and genuinely seems interested in what he presents.
Maybe get rid of the strawberry lollipops though as no one likes them.

Ricky Ollie and Phil made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I never felt under pressure and they explained things very clearly. If I didn’t understand anything they would describe it in a way to make it clearer.
The course was very structured and not robotic.
You work at your own pace so never rushed.
I would definitely recommend this centre to anyone thinking about re assessment or starting a new career.

From my initial queries with Maria, everything from course booking through to starting the course was straightforward and well explained. The course itself was well structured and delivered by Alan and Surge, who have two very distinctive teaching styles that complemented each other well.
By the end of the initial element of the course, we knew exactly what we needed to do before returning for ACS, and we left with the confidence to go out and put it into practice.

When I returned for ACS, the assessors were relaxed, professional, and approachable. The refresher training was delivered well, with the key areas covered clearly to carry us into the assessments.

The assessments are ultimately down to the individual, but the staff did a great job of creating the right atmosphere, one that put you at ease and allowed you to focus on completing tasks you already knew how to do.

Having been in the “training provider research” phase myself before attending, I would be completely comfortable recommending GASTEC to anyone considering the course. I’ve already returned to complete the LPG course, and I can definitely see myself coming back for further training in the future.

Great knowledge, tutors and assessors are very helpful and knowledgeable. Clean tidy site. lots of kit to experience different problems with. Plenty of time given before the exams to run through anything you have concerns over or wanna just relearn or maybe rehash.
