I have used Gordon Brown Law Firm on a number of occasions. They are excellent. They are so efficient and have dealt with Wills for myself and family. I was executor for a close member of family who died recently. Gordon Brown Law Firm dealt with everything for me and were wonderful, taking away all concerns and worries. I have also dealt with their Conveyancing Department when selling property of an elderly relative. I had never done this before, and Gordon Brown Law Firm helped me enormously and everything was completed so efficiently.
The staff at Gordon Brown are so kind and helpful and i would not even consider going elsewhere. I wholeheartedly recommend Gordon Brown Law Firm.

Beyond horrendous experience. Avoid Daniel Hall at all costs. No communication, and seemingly no knowledge of the house sale/purchase process. They’ve held everything up at every point, even forgetting to request mortgage funds for completion day, causing unreal stress. Buyers and sellers have chased and chased, even sellers solicitors have chased and chased and still horrendous treatment. No return phone calls or emails....I could go on forever but please avoid. They’ve made this a horrific experience

I found communication not very good with me having to do most of the calling to get information. I was not even informed when the property finally completed I had to chaise the sellers - not impressed.

Under resourced, poor handover between legal executives, last minute hitches and no contact by phone to smooth things over. The irony is your front line telephony staff are good, it's what what lies behind that lets GBLF down. You need to benchmark yourselves with other firms that are consistently achieving high customer satisfaction scores. In the end, this score reflects back on the leadership of the firm.

Endless delays, poor communication, lack of accountability, poor and unhelpful advice are just some of the reasons I cannot reccomend this law firm. I would suggest you do not use them.

They did a process for my mortgage that takes a week in less than 24 hours. They were great. They were flexible with how payments were made and I was kept up to date.

I would use Gblf again, used them when I sold my house and couldn't fault them.

I used GBLF 2.5years ago and Sam dealt with my case. She was so good that again I used GBLF for a sale and purchase from April to June 2019. Michelle and Lisa dealt with my case. Without hesitation I can honestly say they were both amazing. If I had questions, they answered, when I felt a bit wobbly they reassured me. I was also very impressed at the strength of the language used when dealing with my sellers solicitors who it was clear were pretty useless. Great great great thank you so much.
Just to add that I engaged GBLF from the Internet not through the branch I am in fact located in Wales.

I used this firm for both the sale and purchase of my homes as recommended by a relative. The service i received was exceptional. I popped in to the branch at Chester-le-Street a couple of times and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I have to give a big thanks to Lisa Bucknall who looked after my case (and anyone else involved). Lisa was brilliant. She certainly worked her socks off for me and always went the extra mile.
The professional and helpful manner was greatly appreciated and I would certainly use them again.

GBLF provided an efficient and friendly service and it was always easy to get in touch and get updates about the progress of the purchase. Thanks to Sophie who worked hard to get the sale through on the day despite the barriers the Mortgage Company put in the way.
