Brilliant service and the starter has worked perfectly. I have made 3 loaves already. I bought the rye starter because I like the flavour and have used one in the past.
I found the instructions about how to manage the starter a little confusing because of the options given but all is well.

I recently purchased a sourdough starter from GetSourdough, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The instructions were incredibly simple to follow, even for a beginner like me. The bread turned out absolutely delicious—crusty on the outside, with a soft, tangy interior. It’s amazing to see how just a few steps can lead to such incredible homemade bread. Great product and price with free delivery. I ordered the gluten-free one and have successfully baked from it. I found the instructions confusing - mainly because it referred to a pancake batter consistency after putting in 60g of water for the first bake. I did this but my mixture wasn’t hydrated enough and it didn’t rise much. I tried again the next day with the feeding process (discarding some) and got the consistency better and this did double in size so all good in the end :-)

Good delivery time and after only a couple of feeds my starter was giving me lovely bread, even as a complete beginner. Easy-to-follow instructions that are proving successful.

Communication was great, delivery time about 7-10 days, spelt starter is lively and good quality on arrival. I'm finding the instructions a bit confusing but I'll give it another read and practice, so I'm sure it'll be fine

Arrived quickly and well packaged. I'm still utterly confused on how much of it to use now having got it to 100% hydration, with my first attempt at a sourdough loaf in the Panasonic bread maker. It'll be a 400g loaf so I reckon about 100g. And then I'll 'feed' it with the flour left over in the pack and water to about 50% hydration as suggested for fridge storage. Fingers crossed.....

Great sourdough starter delivered to your door.

Have had two successful bakes from this starter so I’m very happy. A couple of thoughts 1) the instructions and starter are slightly different from other starter providers (I know, I’ve tried a few!!) and so read the instructions really carefully before you do anything - it takes a bit of thought… but don’t let that put you off, it all makes perfect sense and works well. 2) the website is lacking in any ‘sourdough lifestyle’ stuff - recipes, baking pictures and processes, discard recipes etc…. Notwithstanding, the starter works!

Arrived a few days after purchase, well packages and with a little instruction booklet… I’ve already had 2 successful bakes! Great product. Thank you

Brilliant device and exceptional

Had super help and advice from Ruta and decided to purchase the Original Starter.
As I couldn't make any bread straight away I followed the instructions to refrigerate.
To my surprise the Starter was wonderfully active the next day.
This seems to be a very strong Starter.
Looking forward to making my first loaf.

Delivery was as stated, it arrived well packaged and the starter is in the fridge, working away! Looking forward to baking my first sourdough loaf.
