Extremely quick arrived, instructions were clear on feeding etc - arrived well packed to keep it safe.

Query answered very quickly and in a friendly way. Great product .

Prompt delivery and good packaging. Instructions lacked guidance on what to do if product didn’t seem to be progressing as expected. My mixture was really solid, but there was no explanation that you could add more water, as a complete beginner it was daunting.
Measurements were confusing between ml and grams. I looked that up.
I only just had enough to make my recipe- so the loaf cost me the entire amount I spent, plus it didn’t end up well, actually bird food!!

My first starter was delivered during a very cold period and couldn’t be bought back to life, but the company very quickly replaced it with a new, living one.

After years of struggling with my own attempts at starters, I bought the spelt starter from GetSourdough and it has made the most incredible loaves 😀 Worth every penny, thank you 😊.

GetSourdough have been great! My first starter didn’t perform as expected for some reason and I got helpful advice from Ruta within their care team who then sent out another starter free of charge for me which then worked a dream
Their starter has created some delicious bread! The care advice in the pack was really clear & easy to follow and the customer service has been excellent!

I have made 4 loaves now. Starter is gurgling away nicely and bread is really nice. Took a couple of goes to get it right but got there in the end.. ❤️

Fantastic service

I would definitely recommend getting a starter from Get Sourdough. I followed the instructions so that I could bake within 24hrs. I then followed the rest of the instructions to get the starter going again. I thought it looked a little runny so I emailed them a picture. Ruta got back to me very quickly and recommended adding a little more flour. Which I did and now my starter is flourishing again. Looking forward to using it for my second bake this week

This is a great product if you want home baked sourdough but can’t make the starter.
I even failed to follow the instructions to the letter but still got a bubbly starter which made us a delicious loaf.
My only criticism is that it is a little pricy.

Unfortunately it didn’t work for us. We followed the instructions but were unlucky and it died!
