Froze and block my account for no reason.
First they indicate, that my email provider seems suspicious. After I changed it to gmail, they made another investigation and accuse me of creating multiple accounts, which is absolut nonsense.
Will not be surprised that after 3rd investigation, they will accuse me of Kennedy assasination.

Fantástica herramienta para tus proyectos.

I use this primarily for website hosting (Github Pages). Works great! It's fairly intuitive and you have unlimited storage space (sounds impossible but it's true).
Only downside is that you can only host a passive website (so no signup forms etc.). But it's literally free, so you can't really complain much. Plus, you can always use a third-party form hosting platform if you need forms.

Amazing tool and it's free! Thanks microsoft.

These clowns, enabled a scammer to publish sensistive data, then when i submit the issue - they tell me to submit it ELSEWHERE.. meanwhile my stuffs in the open.. im catching emails from EVERY OTHER SERVICE about how CREDS are in the open

Ich spreche hier von meiner Erfahrung mit dem kleinen Stand-Alone-Tool "WinSetView." Stand-Alone bedeutet, das es nicht installiert werden muss. Die Software kostet nichts und jeder kann sie uneingeschränkt nutzen. Sinn und Zweck des Programmes ist folgender:
Mein PC hat die Marotte entwickelt, die Ordner falsch anzuzeigen. Entweder zu gross oder zu klein. Weil ich nicht in stundenlanger Arbeit alles händisch richtigstellen wollte, habe ich eine Software gesucht, die das für mich erledigt und WinSetView auf Github entdeckt. Die Software startet man mit einem Doppelklick auf das executable file oder kurz die .exe-Datei und dann stellt man ein, wie die Ordner angezeigt werden sollen. Ich habe mittelgroße Symbole eingestellt und das hat tadellos funktioniert. Die Ordner werden wieder so angezeigt, wie ich das haben will. Und GitHub ist sowieso eine gute Webseite. Die Suche nach dem Download gestaltet sich manchmal etwas schwierig, aber das schmälert nicht die Qualität der Webseite.

Great platform for developers, I use github at all my business projects

Works well.

I've used them at various companies to host repositories and never had an issue with them.

Even when I accidentally deleted a forked repo, they helped me recover it and save me a load of hassle.

I've used many git repo hosting sites in the past and I gotta say I always like using GitHub the most. It's easy to use, has a lot of functionality and is well integrated into a lot of software I use on a daily basis. The only problem I have is that it's not open source, but you can't have everything and frankly, not a single one of these sites that is pleasant to use is.

Reactions don't work on Firefox Nightly for Android, the Android application lacks functionality, and it's proprietary. Additionally, it solely allows one level of depth for repositories, thereby necessitating multiple organizations whereas if GitLab had been used for the project, the organizations could be (sub)organizations/(sub)projects.

However, it provides custom issue notifications, which GitLab does not appear to (although some competitors do too).

Programm stürzt dauernd ab. Fehler beim Mergen. Schreddert Dateien ohne jeglichen Grund. Erstellte Branches die nur als Back ups angelegt wurden werden von Änderungen an anderen Branches korrumpiert. Beim Resolven von Konflikten hängt sich GitHub auf und stürzt ebenso ab. Diese und weitere Fehler machen dieses Programm kaum nutzbar, wenn keine Person extra angestellt ist um sich mit genau diesen Problemen auseinanderzusetzten. Und das ist nicht nur meine Persönliche Erfahrung sondern auch die einiger Programmierer aus der Industrie. Bloß die Finger weg lassen und lieber ein paar Euro zahlen um sich viel Arbeit und Nerven zu sparen.
