I visited their Metropolis Mall, Highland Park store on 2nd January and was assisted by the optometrist, Ms. Sayani Chowdhury. Prior to making the payment, I specifically inquired about the delivery timeline and requested assurance that the frame I selected in-store would be provided as a fresh article. Ms. Chowdhury confirmed that the delivery would be completed by 7th January and assured me that the product would be a fresh piece, based on which I proceeded with the payment.

However, on Sunday I was informed via WhatsApp that the frame I had chosen was not available, and instead, I was offered a different frame that I had not selected. I clearly reiterated that I expect delivery of the exact frame I purchased, not a substitute.

This situation is particularly disappointing as I had planned to receive the product by 7th January, in time for my birthday on the 8th. I trusted GKB Opticals as a reputed brand in the eyewear segment, and I did not expect such discrepancies or misleading assurances regarding product availability and delivery.
After spending 8000 the entire expletive was absolutely horrible .
Before spending your hard earned money think twice before buying from GKB

purchased a pair of glasses from the G.KB company Lower Parel phoenix (Mumbai) and I was very Disappointed with my experience…while the initial consultation was fine , the frame quality is extremely poor..a small amount of colour came out and I got skin rashes behind my ears …they r charging me 15k for changing the frame which I bought for 35k a year back before …we r ready to pay some amount but 15k don’t u find it too much… as a profession I’m a Orthopeadic doctor we keep sterling all the time …I hope this should not be an reason ..I raised a complaint it’s been a 3month now I’ve written plenty honest emailed them many times but the customer service was also unhelpful when i contacted them about the issue … I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for durable glasses or good customer service.

They broke my glasses lenses while transferring them to another frame, and we had to pay for the new lenses even though the original lenses were made by gkb.

havn't received my frames for almost 3 weeks now... worst site to buy frames.. strongly advise against this fake website

I placed an order for eyeglasses online on 30th November 2022 and it was mentioned that the glasses will be despatched within 3-5 working days. To reduce the time I did not take the free powered glasses I just ordered the frames but to my surprise I got no update through email or sms regarding despatch of the frame till 5th December. On 5th December I called the customer care they answered and told me that they will try to despatch the order in next 2-3 days and hung the phone. They did not even listen to anything after that.

I mailed them several times on all the given emails but there has been no response till date.

I am writing this review at 10:47 PM on 8th December 2022 and till now I have no clarity whether I am getting the article or not.

The company did not even bother to update me if there is any delay.

The order was for a frame that was to be used as eyeglasses and the same is a necessity for me.

They are taking chance with someone’s eyes so no one should put their trust in them.

Myself Amar Chandra Das on 16.11.2021 placed an order for corrective spectacle for which I paid 5000/-in advance and remaining Rs2920 /- was paid at the time for delivery . i observe the object is not clear some what blur. As soon as I bow my head down by 30/40 degree the object become clear . this I narrated to the representative of GKB Optical Shaheed Nagar Bhubaneswar. They took the spectacle back on 07/03/2022 and told me it will be repaired by Kolkata center and will be back after 7 days. after 7 days I got my glasses . After use I found there i no change I talk to representative They told me it is to be used like this olny Means I have bow down head to get clear picture. my invoice no 1041451000017155 dt 10.11.2021Kinly do the needful and get it replaced with a corrective spectacle which useful to me

Eyewear requested on Aug 21 - paid 32K+. The measurement was wrong. Visited the shop at Koramangala and the specialist confirmed next time it will made perfect. 2nd time it came back with the same issue. Again requested them to check. Another intelligent specialist came home and took measurements again and verbally confirmed the issue. IT was sent to Kolkata for the 3rd time and this time it is in the worst condition. The power of the lens is absolutely out of proportion and the Ray-Ban frame is looking like the biggest side of the trapezium. What a service. It is Oct 8 – so noway to get the money back – after 2 months I am helpless.

I am jameswar mahasuar, from jagannath dham, puri, i was ordered my power glasses with frame at GKB opticals bhubaneswar near Kalyan jewellery., sum of Rupees 10,390/- (Ten thousands three hundred and ninty Rupees) i was pay full payment and requested the manager of showroom to send it by post as soon as possible. But 7 days Left i was not get my Power glasses yet. When i was called at. Showroom, i was not get any valid reply. I will never Go GKB OPTICALS next time, and also Suggest my friends and family relative to not give order any kinds of power glasses at. GKB OPTICALS.

GKB Gurusaday, never get eye tested from this center. Doctors eye testing report is entirely different. Once you make the glasses better get it tested by Doctor as again they will make glasses with different measurement than the prescription.
Prices are sky rocketing for glasses as well as frames. Poorest services. It is better to avoid GKB.

the quality of frame is pathetic, very first time when I opened my spectacles its was loose and twisted from both the sides and shape of frame was poor, I went to There Vegas mall outlet to get is fixed they kept the frame for two days and when they return it back it was still in a very bad shape. Imagine the quality they gave on 13000 spectacles. It is over price with very poor quality.

I request everyone not to buy any thing from GKB. The amount the charge does not justify with the quality they provide.

Most useless optician in india. Waste time try to force product and wirst of all charge for eye testing which no one does

I have had a good experience here. I found them knowledgeable about the products. They offered me great quality stuff in good time.

I needed to decide between getting bi-focal or progressive lenses when I first approached GKB OPTICALS at their Seawoods mall outlet. I found the staff patient as they showed me through the different frames. I take a long time to decide, but they did not try to sell instead advised me well on the advantages of progressive lenses. I finally opted for progressive and I am very happy with my decision. I placed the order on the 1st of Jan and my frames were ready on the 4th. This was really quick.
Also the quality of the frames, technology used in the lenses and the case they offered for the spectacles is superior to others I have tried in the past. I will definitely go to them again.

Purchased a pair of sunglasses (Serengeti) from GKB Opticals , City Centre 2 Kolkata towards the end of March'18. Awesome service rendered to us by Mr. Imran Khan and team., when due to some mis-communication a mirror finish lens was fitted which I did not like. They replaced the lens without any extra charge (these are powered lenses and had to be manufactured). And what rush they had to go through as I was to embark on a tour of Europe!

We have been buying from this place from the past few years and the experience has always been great. They go out of their way to give you their best services.

Bad services ,don't go to gkb stores.Quality of lenses (glasses) is not good .Less quality high cost.10m back I bought lenses in gkb velachery now the layer on glasses was gone.I went to there and asked ,they said we will replace glasses and then I asked them next time again it will happen what I have to do ?within warranty period we will repair after we don't know like that they said.worst experience in gkb opticals ,they cheated me.

I have purchased an ARMANI Eyewear frame from GKB OPTICALS, elante mall. Chandigarh on 10 feb 2017. They sold me that frame at a price of Rs. 9000/- and the store owner tell me that whatever price is mentioned on the price tag is the final price and no difference is there in price from wherever you purchase that item. But when i checked out the price at GKB OPTICALS website there it is of Rs. 7500/- .. and on nxt day i immediately went to compsny store and complain about this to the store owner then he tell me that on monday i will surely refund this Rs. 1500/- and it will automatically got adjusted on you card.. but as of now i didnt get any positive response from him.. so plz refund this money as soon as possible otherwise i hv to take some legal action.

They sell products worth 300-400 @3K-4K. My 7.5K lens didnt even last a year. And the high quality glass (as per them) got blurred so fast with visible scratches. Never going back (even to replace my glasses).

The store all across the india takes a lot of time to complete the making of the spectacles and then in around 6 months they get broken. although u have a warranty and they say it will take 7 days to replace it. but it takes around 15-20 days to get a new pair. their service is the worst. everything they need to send to their kolkata office first for any discrepancy so they dont have any authorisation over any of their own stuff!. Never Ever buy from this. but from a local eye care shop nearby. it would be far better as they are faster in service and everything.
